43, Ann Arbor, MII see marriage as an inviolate Holy Union and am adamant about having the same type of relationship my parents have had for over 43 years. Although I embrace Catholicism now, from my teens to my early 20's I strayed far from the Faith. Coming from a devout Catholic family and having a sheltered childhood, I became keenly aware of how different I was when I left Catholic school to attend high school and was willing to trade who I was in order to be accepted. I spent so many formative years pretending to be something I was not that it took me quite some time to figure out exactly who I was. Though my ascent back does not change my past, I hope it can earn me the right to be given a chance. One exciting aspect for me is that the woman to whom I someday say, "I love you," will be the first to hear those words come from the real me...one of the few gifts I have left to give (and I just can't wait for that day to come). What else? Well, I'm definitely unique. I'm a revert to the Faith who had a Presbyterian Minister for a grandfather. I am masculine in my presence and mannerisms, but feminine in my need for verbal intimacy. It was Catholic school that inculcated my academic knowledge, but the secular world that refined my social skills and established my confidence. Most importantly, I am profoundly human with intricate thoughts, sensitive feelings, an insatiable desire for expression, and an intense intellectual curiosity. Longing for the days of ordered relationships whereby men initiate and women reciprocate, simple things such as opening the door for a woman have taken on an otherworldly romantic feel lately. I fear that on one of these occasions I'll simply drop to my knees and beg the woman to impale my heart for being unable to bear the depth of sadness and joy it is experiencing.
70, Redford, MIMy faith is the center of my life and love talking about Jesus and His church. I'm far from perfect but I am honest, kind, caring, compassionate, passionate, loving, romantic and have a sense of humor. Want to hear you laugh. I'll pray with you, curse with you, laugh with you, cry with you, dance with you, sing with you, walk with you, carry you when you need me to and of course help you get to Heaven. You'll help me won't you? I've had motorcycles most of my life and love my Harleys. Aviation is another passion but I'm not currently flying. Love airshows, air museums, movies, dancing, socializing with friends and/or family (love a good party) with an occasional quiet, romantic dinner for two. Speaking of dinner I do like to cook but keep it simple. Not the best dancer around but at least those ballroom dance classes taught me how to keep from stepping on your toes. lol Don't have dogs anymore but Tuxedo, my African Grey parrot, keeps me company.. Being an animal lover, and retired mounted police officer, I do have a strong affection for horses. You know what they say, "Anyone who loves horses can't be ALL bad." P.S. My ex-wife passed away in 2011, may God rest her soul, so I'm free to marry in the church. I will not, can not marry outside the church.
73, Franklin, MII enjoy cards, board games, game shows. I love camping in my Winnebago (overnight or a month at a time in Florida, or anywhere my mood and the weather might take me), hiking, riding my bike, paddling around in my kayak. Mostly I drive alone, but some of my kids have RVs so we meet up when they travel. After almost 30 years of managing some Detroit properties, I'm finally retired. I'm a bargain-hunter so I like garage sales and finding nearly free activities to enjoy. After I got my degree, I was a computer systems analyst until I had too many kids. My husband of 40 years passed away in 2005 after 6 years in a coma. I have 4 sons, 4 daughters. It's kind of cool that my #8 child, a daughter who just had her first baby, gave me #18 grandchild. One son and his family live in North Carolina, but everyone else is nearby. Although I did a quick update here, I still need to find time to update pictures-- that takes longer

58, Kalamazoo, MII look forward to making a difference in someone's life. Sharing experiences and activities with a kindred spirit would help fulfill that desire. I have raised my family and as much as I love spending time with them I want to find someone to share my life with. There isn't much I don't like to do. I enjoy the outdoors, biking, canoeing and day hiking but I can't say I am fond of camping or "roughing it." I like to travel but I have not done as much as I would have liked to. My greatest enjoyment is music. I love classical music and have a season ticket to the local symphony but I also enjoy other genres, especially if it is live music.
35, Grand Rapids, MII have a great outlook on life, and I'm looking to surround myself with positive people! I've traveled a lot, and I've lived in 3 states in the last 3 years, and I finally ended up back home in Grand Rapids. I don't miss the winters, but I'm still happy to be back in the mitten. I'm just starting my job as Parish Manager of the Basilica of St. Adalbert. I've been praying for a career which will allow me to serve God and he answered in a big way! I have a great sense of humor, and I try not to take life too seriously. My faith is important to me, and I'm looking for a woman devout to the Catholic faith. We all have a tough road to travel in life, and it's so much easier when we pick each other up along the way. The interesting twists in life's journey, along with meeting some amazing people along the way has given me a new perspective on life. I feel very blessed and thankful for the gifts and opportunities I've been given, and I want people in my life with the same mindset. Everything happens for a reason, and we must simply trust God's plan and allow His sovereignty to take over our lives. This is the key to true happiness!
24, Dundee, MIHey all! I'm a serious Catholic who loves his faith and wants to keep growing in it. The Faith is the most important aspect of my life, followed closely by my family, and after that, my career. I'm a slow mover who can take life a little too seriously sometimes, but otherwise loves to goof off. I come from a large family and love everything that goes with that! My hobbies/favorite activities include, fishing, camping, shooting, pick-up sports, and hanging out with close friends. I'm looking for a woman who shares the same values and isn't afraid to share the journey with someone who has a few rough edges.
26, Wyandotte, MII am generally a cooperative person who enjoys getting along with others. I am considerate of others, friendly in social situations and empathetic in interpersonal ones. I have an optimistic view of human nature. I'm good-natured and easy to get along with. When in conflict, I prefer to use constructive tactics. I have a tendency to believe that most people are honest, decent, and trustworthy. I find myself surprised when the unkind nature of others becomes evident. I can be more responsive to other's needs than my own. I know myself well, and I maintain a balance between trusting my own ideas and reaching out to learn about others and their experiences. I like to think that I am steadfast in my own beliefs. However, I am open to learning about new ways and ideas for doing things, but at the same time I appreciate conventional ways of thinking. Most of the time I try to keep a busy calendar, because I enjoy working at tasks and spending time with others. I like being around people. I am open to an evening of casual/dress, but I also enjoy times where jeans is the right choice. I like going to parties and participating in community events. I am interested in world events, politics, and the community. I am enthusiastic and gregarious, as I get energy from being around others. However, this doesn't mean that I'm not willing to do things alone, as I am very comfortable venturing forth with confidence into the unknown. My actions follow my conscience. When working at a task, I tend to be careful and deliberate. In fact, I work best with a schedule and due dates, and I am hard-working and reliable. I enjoy being organized, a trait that helps me to reach the goals I set for myself. I like to think that I am dependable. Many times I am aware of how I am feeling and I am able to control my reactions to my emotions. I'm stable, calm, and even tempered. I have learned in time not to wallow in negative feelings, a trait that has allowed me to be generally satisfied with relationships and my state in life. In general, I believe that I know how to take the ups and downs of life. The Faith is important to me. My relationship with Christ is paramount in my life as a source of healing and strength for me. I like to reach out to others and share the Faith. I sense the Holy Spirit alive in my life.
19, Wyandotte, MII'm Michael. I currently go to school for accounting, and am writing a Catholic science fiction series as a hobby. I enjoy ice hockey, soccer, some gaming, reading, and (of course) writing. I keep my moral standards high and close to me, which is why I never curse or partake in crude humor. I spent five years at a minor seminary discerning a vocation to the priesthood, and though God told me that this amazing vocation is not my calling, I still loved the formation, and as a result I know Catholic doctrine quite thoroughly...and I can almost speak Latin. I'm very conservative and traditional in my beliefs, much thanks to my amazing and downright holy parents.
28, Harrison Charter Township, MIImportant disclaimer from the outset is that I decided to join the site mostly to try to meet new people who share a deep commitment to the Faith, so I'm primaryly just looking to meet new friends right now, but I'm open to God's will regarding where a strong friendship could lead.
22, Ann Arbor, MIStudent at Concordia Ann Arbor. Love dancing and singing to the radio. The Beatles are my favorite band! I love watching baseball and hockey! If you are funny, goofy, and not afraid to be yourself, we are going to be friends! I have a big family, so being willing to keep up with the circus is a must!
