69, Kalamazoo, MIHello, my name is Annemarie. My birth place was a small monastery in Bavaria, 20 kilometers from the place Pope Benedict was born 2 decades earlier. I learned much later that he and I have the same nickname. His is the Rottweiler of the Vatican, mine is simply the Rottweiler. Last year I heard the chanting of monks in a chapel in Chicago and suddenly realized that is the sound of my very early childhood. I recall sitting in the small church in Trierweiler at age nine on a Sunday realizing that the homily would effect my entire life. "those given a lot, need to give back". I welcomed that knowledge, accepted it, and have lived my life accordingly. God gave me the knowledge when people need my help. I give it freely. Thus I have lived a rich and fulfilling life and welcome each day with joy. There is no boredom in my life. Some may call it drama. I simply accept altruism as a part of my day. I studied languages and import/export, worked in a number of countries and had the privilege to see much of the world. I love the ocean and thoroughly soak up the peace it gives me. Good health, fabulous hair, nice features and a positive outlook on life give me the appearance of being 10 years younger than I am. I do not ask for a senior discount because I will be accused of cheating. So I gladly pay adult admission. My sense of humor is wonderful. I laugh a lot. My friends say that they keep me around just to see what happens next. Which brings me to the subject of my future partner. If God wants me to remain single. I accept. I am asking him though to allow me to meet someone I will love with all my heart and who will accept me for who I am. Reading, writing, nature walks, picking fruit, lively discussions, movies, creating and redoing houses are some of my hobbies. I love to cook and bake. Hosting a dinner party is one of my specialties. And yes, the ocean. Soon I will be in San Diego again for four nights at the ocean. I can hardly wait. Have a great day. Annemarie

I like the stage of life I'm in right now. I try to live a life of gratitude, especially for the dear people God has placed in my life. I love living in Michigan! I have spent lots of time enjoying the inland lakes and Great Lakes. Charlevoix is a favorite place of mine and I have spent many summers enjoying our state parks and camping. I would like to do more traveling and perhaps visit Italy, Rome, or Poland. I have a small dog and have always enjoyed animals. I also enjoy music, reading, gardening, snooping around antique shops, and day trips here and there. I recently visited the Shrine of Our Lady of Good Help in Wisconsin. I took the SS Badger from Ludington and it was a lovely four hour passage on Lake Michigan. I am passionate about Catholicism and have recently retired from working in a Catholic bookstore. I never tire of this great faith we are in and find it a journey that captivates me. I came into the Church in 2002, holding the hand of the Blessed Mother.
