I am a devout Catholic who would like the same in a friend, mate or someone to have an indepth and meaningful conversation with. I believe that a healthy relationship need to start with a strong sense of who you are and what you bring to the table. Being needy, narrow minded or overbearing will only destroy a relationship. I have been a social worker for over 25 years. I find it not only a career but a calling to help people by trouble shooting, encouraging or just listening to their thoughts and hopes. I have watched people either uplift their lives or destory them with choices made. I am perfect? Certainly not! I not looking for perfect either. Only someone who has strong faith and devotion. Here's the real me in the pictures. Not afraid to show you who I am.

I would like to take you on a date to the Grand Hotel on Mackinaw Island and have a ballroom dance. I love adventure outdoors and visiting new places, even turn of the century. I try to live holiness everyday and remain in a state of grace. I desire a stable life, and a life-long friend to experience it with. I am looking for someone to travel with through the deserts of this exile because I don't want to go alone. I love to write and I am currently working on a sci-fi novel in my spare time. I am also passionate about the pro-life movement in writing, volunteering, and attending the March for Life in Washington DC. I am fun loving and have a quirky sense of humor. Discerning the religious life and finding it was not my vocation after a long journey is why I am not married. I am upbeat and like to turn any negative or curve-ball into my own advantage with a grateful spirit about any type of weather or hand I'm given. I am happy to be alive today, with good health, free to walk or run, and loved as a son of God. I have five brothers and a twin. My brothers are all married so I am lucky to have lots of nieces and nephews to hang out with and tease. Marriage is something of a mystery and I walk that way compelled by my heart.

I am a pretty simple guy who loves God more than anything. My goal in life is to become the Saint the Lord created me to be. After spending my 30th and 31st year living a religious life in search for my Earthly vocation. While praying and studying of saints I had come to the realization that my vocation was that of a Husband and Dad. The section on diligence in Divine Intimacy stated that a prudent man recognizes the best suited path for his sanctification and works everyday to a achieve it with the Lords love in his heart. I came to that conclusion that being a Dad would bring me the most joy and offer me the best chance at sanctification with my particle needs. The Saints received so much joy from doing our Fathers work "their vocation" meaning the Lord gives us the most joy in fulfilling our vocation and I know being a Father will do that for me. After a lot of time discerning if this was correct I started to realize that the heavenly Father needs more devote Catholics to be raising good families more then maybe any other vocation in a world seduced by ego, individualism, lust, and pride. Which I know you're probably saying we hardly have any priests? I know but there are just as few Catholic families that are centered on the Eucharist. I want my family to shine for all the world to take example and they will. i am working on my RN ( one year to go) and working as CNA right now I love comforting the sick. by St. Anthony of Padua Everyone longs to give themselves completely to someone, To have a deep soul relationship with another, To be loved thoroughly and exclusively. But to a Christian, God says, "No, not until you are satisfied, Fulfilled and content with being loved by Me alone, With giving yourself totally and unreservedly to Me. With having an intensely personal and unique relationship with Me alone. Discovering that only in Me is your satisfaction to be found, Will you be capable of the perfect human relationship, That I have planned for you. You will never be united to another Until you are united with Me. Exclusive of anyone or anything else. Exclusive of any other desires or longings. I want you to stop planning, to stop wishing, and allow Me to give you The most thrilling plan existing . . . one you cannot imagine. I want you to have the best. Please allow Me to bring it to you. You just keep watching Me, expecting the greatest things.

I am humbled to be practicing the spiritual life of being Catholic following Christ and the church's teachings the best I can. With the variety of various Christian worship choices, I realize this fellowship is of my choice. The joy of polka and waltz dancing sure helps me gain some good friends that I care about. However not many singles go there so here I am getting some help.

Hi - I'm Ingrid. I love to run (albeit not very fast). My favorite thing in the world is going for a run to meet the rising sun and going for a walk to watch it set. I love my bike; I ride it everywhere I can. I take great pride in my job working with hospitalized patients, and I thank God everyday for my family. I value the qualities of compassion and respect for others. I can be serious but I like a good sense of humor, and I try to appreciate all of the little and big blessings in life. Outside of my obsession with being outside running, biking, and hiking the shores of Lake Superior, I also enjoy conducting culinary experiments in the kitchen. I've also lately taken up some feeble attempts at vegetable gardening.... For fun, I am usually up for trying just about anything. Last summer I ran my first half-marathon - it was a blast! Thanks for visiting my profile

I am a sports junkie!! If I'm not playing or coaching them I'm watching them. I also enjoy spending time with family, friends and my dog. I don't like to talk about myself, so if you want to know something you are going to have to ask.

I enjoy spending times with my 3 daushounds and riding my motorcycle when the weather permits, also enjoy camping prefer sleeping off the ground. I work at my job for 35 years and never missed a day of work, a fact that I am proud of although it really made no difference to the company. Looking for a friend use that's what is important the rest falls into place. Looking for someone not afraid to get hands dirty and also fall down in the snow and make snow angels. Age is only a number and growing up only makes you old lol only as old as you feel.
