I have a good sense of humor. I enjoy quiet times and closeness. I like to work outdoors in the summer months and also ride bike. I like to think that I just enjoy the simple things in life. I would love to travel more someday, the U.S. and abroad.

I was born and raised in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. I enjoy the change of seasons this area has to offer. I attended a catholic grade school and high school. My faith is extremely important to me and I am constantly trying to learn more. I enjoy reading, gardening, travelling and much more. I am adventurous and spontaneous but a bit shy until I feel comfortable with someone. I retired from the teaching profession 2 years ago and am enjoying time spent with family and friends. Meeting someone special to become part of my life would be a gift I would treasure.

My Faith has been the focal point of my life and that of my late wife and that of our family. All six children, all college grads, still practice their Faith and have have passed it on to all eleven of my grand children who continue to do so.They now include an M.D. an environmental engineer, Americorps Corps {Peace Corps} and college grads, a starting NFL football player, a published Pro Photographer and so forth with some still in grade school and college. Not bragging, just a bit proud and great full to God for these blessings! This has taken a lot of hard work and faith and should tell you a lot about us.I have a great sense of humor, like people and have a history of distinct public service. I'm self employed, holding a number of patents and copyrights. I'm stepping down from some of my responsibilities and will finish up some projects while doing some fun things with the right person in a permanent relationship in which I intend to be my very best and dedicated to! I like the ocean, some warm weather for part of the year, adventure. loyalty ,faithfulness and I would like to travel to certain places around the world. Let's see, oh yes, I'm quite humble, as you can see........well I worked hard...... Yup, that's about it.... I live in a unique but somewhat isolated spot some might say but not so. We have everything here that you have there but it just takes a little longer to get there. Ah, but with one exception...I am surrounded with Faith filled unique people and Communities! If faith, peace, security and beauty are important to you ,well, Pilgrim , we have it! ..Still with me ? well thanks, read on...... Not much in the way of bright lights and concrete but but we have or access to anything we need.We live on the largest body of fresh water in North America which is an ever changing scene of beauty ,safety and opportunity of spiritual renewal. It's paradise they say but every place is what you make it. Looking for that very special person who has put God first in her life ,has had a successful marriage, nothing perfect I know.....A widow,or annulled or working on it ,conservative, Catholic, loving, passionate, loyal and all those other great qualities we all dream of!....God Bless......[ Yo...a bit to heavy ??]

I am an energetic, positive and active individual who works at enjoying life to the fullest. Smile is at the ready and I love to laugh. My relationship with Jesus is the center of my life and I continue to work on drawing closer to him each day. I try to continuously be involved in a Bible Study but during the summer months have to focus on spiritual reading and the Bible as most studies break during the summer.I have broad interests and very much enjoy sharing time with someone doing just about anything. I try to do something which gets me outdoors at least 2-3 times a week and very much enjoy snowmobiling, motorcycling, bicycling, walks/hiking, dancing, concerts or just about anything with a cordial partner. Up until the last 5 years I was employed as a manufacturing executive, but started a small business to have more time with my family, avoid regular relocations and increase independence. Divorced (not by choice) after 34 years of marriage 3 years ago. I have two boys and I am so proud of them both I could just burst! My oldest just graduated from the University of Michigan with a Computer Engineering degree and is living/working in Detroit for General Motors. My youngest will start his sophomore year this fall and attends Western Michigan University majoring in Education. I am a member of the Christian Motorcyclists Association and very much enjoy the service activities and fellowship. I also serve as an extraordinary minister in our parish. Like to travel and have family in lower Michigan which I typically visit 3-5 times annually. Take care and may God bless you!

I enjoy spending times with my 3 daushounds and riding my motorcycle when the weather permits, also enjoy camping prefer sleeping off the ground. I retired from my job after 35 years and never missed a day, a fact that I am proud of although it really made no difference to the company. Looking for a friend first that's what is important the rest falls into place. Looking for someone not afraid to get hands dirty and also fall down in the snow and make snow angels. Someone who wants to grow old together holding hands, that's appreciates chivalry. Someone who walks the walk doesn't judge folks on appearance. Age is only a number and growing up only makes you old lol only as old as you feel. I must say that I joined this site hoping that the folks on here would be Christian and unjudgemental sadly seems that is not the case. What's really sad is life's short and at this age ya have been to lots of funerals I am just amazed at folks attitudes these days. Wow blocked for saying hello Christian's on this site I think not appears not even adults, really sad

We, the Dancing Grannies, tap dance at all the local nursing homes as our Christian endeavor. I had my children later in life and feel they have kept me young for my years. I have six grandchildren, but my first is an angel. Both my son and daughter have a set of twins, one boy ans one girl.

I have been a Secular Franciscan for over 45 years and have been most active on all local & regional levels. I guess you would say it is sort of a passion. I teach religious ed for the parish, serve as Eucharist Minister and Read. I am active with just about anything that goes on in the parish - but it is a small parish, however, I am known to interact with all other catholic churches in the area and Diocese. My deceased husband and his family were very influential in my life. My sister-in-law was a religious, and the rest of the family were wonderful Catholics. Also, I have a great neighbors and friends, and we interact frequently. I do participate in a couple of retreats per year (i.e. Wise Women's) at the local retreat house, but do not belong to any other organizations. I have lived in a rural area for over 35 years living on a cattle farm which also included many kinds of animals and the raising of Arab horses. I was also a professional ice skater for a short time and still retain contact with some of those friends, played for a short time on a women's hockey team, use to ski downhill and, as you can tell love winter sports including ice fishing and snowmobiling. I think I am capable of still doing just about anything in a moderate fashion - but still try. Have traveled all over including Europe and Japan and still like to get around, though I don't want to leave the U.S. anymore - but Canada is OK!! When I have time, I try my hand at oil painting or jot down ideas and paragraphs for writing. I enjoy lots of company at my house and always have room for guests and am considered a 'good cook'. I have an MBA, once held a teaching certificate for many years, and am retired from state administrative work. I do like to keep active, but find a nap or just resting not that bad either. Life has been interesting and good for me as many miracles have happened. Maybe there's a few more......

Hello, my name is Bruce, I'm sixty seven and like many of you I lost my spouse. I was happily married for forty years to my best friend. Her loss has left a huge void in my life and up to recently I could not even talk about it. It's time to move on. I haven't dated in over forty years so your patience would be appreciated. What I'm looking for is a life partner, someone I can travel with and joke around with. I like going to coffee shops [ I don't drink alcohol ] and antique shops just to see what's out there. Traveling out west is a passion. My two sons live in Nebraska and Idaho. Traveling with someone would make it more enjoyable, like it used to be. I'm open to doing things you like to do [ a relationship is a 50-50 proposition ] I have to admit I have two left feet. If you like to dance and if you don't mind me picking myself up when trying a few steps we will get along just fine. I have a Harley motorcycle [ a trike ] that I enjoy. I only ride the back roads at a leisurely pace. It's like a three wheeled sports car. There are many other things I like to do but maybe that's something you would have to discover over time. I know I will never have another Paula and I don't expect you to be like her, but on the other hand I could never be like your loved one you lost. Feel free to talk about him at any time, it's only natural as I will do the same about her. We could heal together. I'm not a novelist so I'm not really good with words but I'm down to earth. I hope this short story will capture someone's attention. I appreciate your time. Have a good day.

I am looking for a person to get to know better and hopefully make a connection with. I am new to this area and am trying to adjust to a new place at this stage of my life. I like to walk and hike and explore the area I live in. I would like to find someone who likes some of the same things I do, and do them together. I enjoy being at home and would like someone in my life that would enjoy just doing nothing with. I like to play cards. I like to watch sports. I like to be on or near the water. I have a place in my heart for animals and have a dog. I consider myself thoughtful, kind and easy to be with. It would be nice to have someone to go to Mass with on Sundays too.

I am retired and spend my summers at a local campground in a 5th wheel camper with several other friends, who also spend their summers there. We have lots of fun. I like fishing, having picnics, spending time outdoors, and like to walk for exercise most days. I also like dancing and am involved with singing and playing guitar at my church. I also like pets. I have an elderly cat, who also likes to go camping with me. I have 2 adult sons who live near by and a 5 year old granddaughter. I have worked at nursing homes in the Activity Department and enjoy helping the elderly enjoy their lives. They all have wonderful stories to share and are so appreciative of a friend who is interested in them. I got my cat so I could take her to work to use as a pet therapy cat. she loved it and so did the residents. I guess my greatest passion is to spend time with God and to have his will done in me and through me. It is the greatest thing we could hope for.
