I would like to take you on a date to the Grand Hotel on Mackinaw Island and have a ballroom dance. I love adventure outdoors and visiting new places, even turn of the century. I try to live holiness everyday and remain in a state of grace. I desire a stable life, and a life-long friend to experience it with. I am looking for someone to travel with through the deserts of this exile because I don't want to go alone. I love to write and I am currently working on a sci-fi novel in my spare time. I am also passionate about the pro-life movement in writing, volunteering, and attending the March for Life in Washington DC. I am fun loving and have a quirky sense of humor. Discerning the religious life and finding it was not my vocation after a long journey is why I am not married. I am upbeat and like to turn any negative or curve-ball into my own advantage with a grateful spirit about any type of weather or hand I'm given. I am happy to be alive today, with good health, free to walk or run, and loved as a son of God. I have five brothers and a twin. My brothers are all married so I am lucky to have lots of nieces and nephews to hang out with and tease. Marriage is something of a mystery and I walk that way compelled by my heart.

I have begun the annulment process of my marriage. Aside from mass and perpetual adoration, I enjoy outdoorsy things in order to stay "healthy." I like jogging and skiing and kayaking. I join up with an outdoor group when I can. I also like working in my yard and gardening...Pretty much anything outside.

I am a middle school English teacher at a small Catholic school in rural Iron Mountain, MI. It is a true delight to use literature and grammar to draw my students closer to Christ. My school is right next to a 24hr adoration chapel. That proximity to Our Lord in the Blessed Sacrament is such a blessing. Building my classroom library (the middle school library) with wholesome good books and great classics is a hobby of mine. I only teach books I enjoy; so, that is an added daily highlight! I am passionate about the Faith, living, learning and teaching it. A good discussion is always welcome! I enjoy singing and playing violin at Mass. I "grew up in a book"; so, second-hand bookstores have quite the lure. One of my dearest joys is reading aloud to my neighbors' children and to my nephews and nieces, introducing them to whole new worlds of wonder. While I spent the most years in Western NY, I have lived in MI, MN, OH, and IL as well. I enjoy the beauty of the trees and rolling hills, the starry skies, and sunsets. I moved to the UP from Western NY three years ago. The stars are beautiful up here! Being on a first name basis with the owner of the town's second-hand bookstore and having one's pastor to dinner with family are among the treasures of living in a small town. I value getting to know people either one-on-one or in small group settings. I like to be able to hear you. Multitasking is fine too - my neighbors and I got acquainted over painting their garage and porch. They treat me as part of the family now! I also enjoy taking a walk in the woods, having cookouts, and playing games with family and friends.

I'm a fairly quiet person until you get to know me, then I'm usually more talkative. I also am majoring in biology and clinical lab science with hopes of working in a hospital lab someday. I love to run and completed my first marathon this past year.

I am a sports junkie!! If I'm not playing or coaching them I'm watching them. I also enjoy spending time with family, friends and my dog. I don't like to talk about myself, so if you want to know something you are going to have to ask.

With my only son now in college after raising him as a single mom since he was one I'm finding my way in this new chapter of my life. The transition hasn't been easy. With God and my pooch as my steadfast companions I'm adapting. I've always been a walker but this summer 2 weeks after turning 50 I did a sprint triathlon. Yoga has also been added to my weekly routine. For the past year I've volunteered on our sheriffs dept Victims Services Unit. We assist the Sheriff to deliver death notifications either at the scene, hospital or homes. We provide support to the families in whatever capacity needed by calling other family members, clergy, funeral homes, etc or just sitting quietly and being there in their darkest hour. I volunteer for youth retreats experiencing them growing on there journey closer to Christ. I enjoy simple things. The sun, the moon and stars. Watching the deer, turkeys and Gods other creatures in my yard. Camping with my dad in remote areas. Riding ATVs for hours seeing no one. Snowmobiling with my cousins for 150 miles on any given sat or Sunday or cross country skiing in Michigan's beautiful Upper Peninsula. I try to thank God every day for His beautiful masterpiece. I try to live my life that if I were to stand before God at any given time I'd be able to hold my head up and look him in the eyes and hear Him say "Well done good and faithful servant." If it's Gods will I would love to find a partner to share my life with and grow closer to Christ together.

I have always been passionate about dancing. I teach line dancing three days a week and take tap lessons. We, the Dancing Grannies, tap dance at all the local nursing homes as our Christian endeavor. I had my children later in life and feel they have kept me young for my years. I have six grandchildren, but my first is an angel. Both my son and daughter have a set of twins, one boy ans one girl.

Before I introduce myself, I would like to say that I'm a PWS (Person Who Stutters) and therefore, suffers from Anxiety. My name is Ashley. I'm 23 years old. My cat, Midnight, and I live in Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan for a couple of years now. Since It's hard for me to meet people, I'm mostly a Homebody. I like to watch movies (Horror, Romance, Westerns and Cartoons), play video games (Dishonored, Need for Speed, Red Dead Redemption, Walking Dead, Sega, Bejeweled, Plants vs. Zombies), love to read (Mostly Native American Romance Books), love to write (Horror and Romance) and listen to my pink iPod. I'm a Tomboy, so yeah, I dress like a boy (Sometimes), but I do have my girly side like wearing dresses in the summer and make-up on special occasions. I'm sweet, lovable and shy (Well, maybe more nervous than shy. Lol.). I'm a very quiet person, I'm more of a listener than a talker.

Hello, my name is Bruce, I'm sixty seven and like many of you I lost my spouse. I was happily married for forty years to my best friend. Her loss has left a huge void in my life and up to recently I could not even talk about it. It's time to move on. I haven't dated in over forty years so your patience would be appreciated. What I'm looking for is a life partner, someone I can travel with and joke around with. I like going to coffee shops [ I don't drink alcohol ] and antique shops just to see what's out there. Traveling out west is a passion. My two sons live in Nebraska and Idaho. Traveling with someone would make it more enjoyable, like it used to be. I'm open to doing things you like to do [ a relationship is a 50-50 proposition ] I have to admit I have two left feet. If you like to dance and if you don't mind me picking myself up when trying a few steps we will get along just fine. I have a Harley motorcycle [ a trike ] that I enjoy. I only ride the back roads at a leisurely pace. It's like a three wheeled sports car. There are many other things I like to do but maybe that's something you would have to discover over time. I know I will never have another Paula and I don't expect you to be like her, but on the other hand I could never be like your loved one you lost. Feel free to talk about him at any time, it's only natural as I will do the same about her. We could heal together. I'm not a novelist so I'm not really good with words but I'm down to earth. I hope this short story will capture someone's attention. I appreciate your time. Have a good day.
