32, Saginaw, MII am a passionate and witty high school religion teacher which I recently transitioned to after spending six years in seminary. I am focused on my work and helping students grow in their faith, but aware that life is much more than work I also try to enjoy it whenever possible. I enjoy, in semi-random order: sports, movies, hiking, trivia, cooking, wine, board games, hanging out with friends, reading, photography, people watching, walking, museums, searching out new viewpoints, and traveling. I am often one to stay in (being introverted I need to from time to time) and keep things laid back, but I do also enjoy going out and being adventurous, though seldom on my own. I just moved to Eau Claire in August, so I don't know too many people except my co-workers and family and friends a decent drive away. I was born and raised in Portland, OR and still consider that home despite being removed over ten years. I miss all the trees, mountains and rain. At least here I have some trees. I can be reserved at first, particularly in big groups, but with just a little time I become much more relaxed, easy going and talkative. When it comes to work I can be very focused and come across as quite serious, but generally I am more laid back and fun-loving (which in the classroom I try to balance). I have a sarcastic sense of humor and love a good practical joke from time to time. I am very competitive and enjoy playing games and sports, but seldom take it seriously. I am incredibly organized, which is how I've learned to balance so many things while being so scattered. I am very reflective and enjoy quiet time, though not necessarily alone. I enjoy talking, but am not one who will talk your ear off except with certain subjects. I love stories, telling them and hearing them, and one reason I enjoy movies so much is the reflections spurned from the visual depths, even from the most dumb and crude of films. I've never been much of an advocate of dating or match sites, but coming off a long dating absence while in seminary, being busy getting into the groove of teaching, and generally not being very good a sporadically meeting new people, I went off a friend's advice and am giving it a shot. I appreciate what technology can do bringing people together or keeping them in touch, but I much prefer personal contact. Having so many friends in so many places whom I keep in contact with via email or social media I can feel overwhelmed and tentative towards it.
34, Bay City, MII am passionate about family, friends, and education. The most influential people in my life would be my father, my Grandma, an uncle and an aunt. I enjoy spending time with my family, movies, shopping, museums, restaurants, going to pumpkin and apple farms.
24, Mt Pleasant, MIHi there! So, this is me... I graduated from college in December 2015 with a Bachelor's Degree of Science with majors in Computer Science and History, but this doesn't limit my interests. I would really like to hone my artistic side and maybe do some graphic design. I'm a pretty new convert to the Catholic faith (Easter 2012). Growing up, I really was interested in the history of the church and how important it seemed in people's lives, and now I get to experience it in the full with its history, saints, and sacraments! :D ... I still have so much to learn. I'd consider myself blessed if I could love God and have faith in Him to even just a fraction of a degree as the great Saints did. Something I really, really would love doing when I get the chance is traveling. I love the idea of exploring different places and cultures, their art and architecture (those medieval cathedrals... wow!!), and just being places where important events happened. There's so much to see out there! In my off time, I really enjoy reading, and do some writing of my own occasionally, but nothing all that great. (Trust me!) Languages fascinate me, especially Latin. I love letter writing because it's fun to be throwback like that. I don't watch much TV expect for some Nascar and the occasional baseball game (Yankees fan here). I follow some TV series such as Doctor Who (David Tennant's the best, imho). Chuck was also a favorite, along with Chopped and other cooking shows. I also love walking/hiking outdoors. (As opposed to hiking indoors... I guess?)
23, Bay City, MII am passionate about music. I listen to all types of music, but like to listen to Big Band Jazz quite often. I like to watch movies and read. I also love to dance. Whether it's a swing, a waltz, or just jumping up and down, I really enjoy dancing. Most of my leisure time I spend with my family and then with friends. I come from a large family and we are quite close. I also like to play and watch sports. I have four older brothers, so they have been big influences in that particular area of my life. I try my best to run whenever I can. The most influential people in my life have been my parents. They have always been here for me and have been a guiding hand in my life. I am currently studying Theology at Catholic Distance University. I look forward to graduating and putting what I have learned/ will learn to good use. Feel free to message me if you'd like to talk more!
31, Midland, MIHello I truly value honesty, loyalty and integrity in people. Those who live a moral life and enjoy life even in the small things. Those who live live with passion and purpose to become the best version of themselves. I enjoy listening to all types of music, singing, concerts, a good karaoke session is always a good plan for a Saturday night :) I also enjoy dancing, especially latin music. I am an animal lover- dogs and horses are my favorite, and the environment. I like going for a walk/hike, travelling and doing pretty much anything outdoors. I love being by the water, snorkeling, going on a boat, kayaking... spending a sunny day by the beautiful Lake Michigan is one of my favorite things to do.
25, Essexville, MIHello, my name is Holly. I am a nurse, which I feel was the first calling I received from God and feel privileged to work in surgery. I have been called an 'old soul'. I love to do a great number of things from crocheting and baking to playing video games and watching movies (especially of the sci-fi/fantasy genre). Lately I have been going to Adoration often and find great comfort in the Blessed Sacrament. Most of all I look forward to the future full of hope God has promised his people. One thing I would love to do is travel, to go to other countries, explore different National parks in the US and one day go on a medical mission.
35, Bay City, MII'm very positive, ambitious, driven, kind, compassionate, loving and have a big heart. I don't really have a type I'm seeking, I'm just looking for someone who's down to earth, somewhat laid back and enjoys life. I love to golf, exercise and enjoy the outdoors. I love to travel to see and explore new places and things. My family is very small and my closest friends are the family that I choose to have in my life and they mean the world to me. I am looking for someone that shares my interests, to be my friend, my partner, build a strong relationship and have a future with. I would really like to start a family to make some roots of my own. I love children and making life fun and happy. I am everyone's favorite aunt. Right now I get to spoil my niece's and nephews rotten. I haven't been married or had kids yet because I believe in doing it once. I am not objected to my partner having children, the more the merrier is what my philosophy has always been.
26, Auburn, MIHi, I'm Clare. I work as an engineer in Michigan. I'm originally from Ohio, so I consider myself very much a mid-western girl. I'm the oldest of five children, and I consider my siblings to be among my closest friends. Family and friends are very important to me--even though I've moved away from many of them. I care deeply about my on-going faith journey, and I am always looking for new ways to enrich my relationship with God. Outside of work I enjoy being an active member of my parish. The main man in my life is furry, and has 4 legs and a tail: my Pit-German Shepherd puppy named Phillip. He keeps me very busy--but when I do have spare moments I enjoy reading, coloring, listening to music, DIY projects and planning my next travel adventure. I look forward to meeting you!
