42, Wayland, MII'm a sweet, thoughtful, and intelligent woman with an edge and a fabulous sense of humor. Though, I suppose if you don't like my sense of humor you'd find it less than fabulous! I used to think my life was boring, but it's actually quite entertaining. Crazy or unusual situations are par for the course, and many seem to involve snakes. The older I get the more dissatisfied I become with staying at home and doing nothing, as I can only handle so many lazy days before growing restless. I enjoy being outside and doing fun things like hiking, snowshoeing, tobogganing, and maintaining runoff streams. My vacations involve lots of walking (usually 40 or so miles), climbing very large staircases, traversing sand dunes, and eating fudge. The latter counteracts the physical activity, but we all have to have balance in our lives, don't we? I sometimes drive too fast, and almost always play my music (They Might Be Giants) too loudly. I like keeping tabs as to what's going on in the world as we're all affected by it, one way or the other. I do prefer international news sources; unlike domestic they don't use annoying, seizure-inducing graphics and presenters actually present, not making their jobs about themselves. On the international note I like watching foreign crime dramas, especially ones that inject humor. I love Don Matteo and Montalbano! I have a great love for the state of Michigan. What isn't there to love? Unsalted, shark-free bodies of water, cool forts, vast sand dunes, the aforementioned fudge, lots of snow, lots of sun, and all sorts of fun little towns and parks to explore. Life is good here, but I have the feeling I won't stay forever as all the men I've ever been interested in have lived elsewhere. That's never been a conscious choice on my part but always the way things have been. I am the proud aunt of a cool sixteen year old niece, whose only flaw is that she says kids don't like hiking. Hrmph. Perhaps it has something to do with the 10 mile walk I once made her take? I have a cool cat, and his only flaw is that he hates the whole of humanity except myself. I love being Catholic, and the more I learn about our dear Faith the more I love it. I am marriage-minded in the sense that I see marriage as the natural progression in finding the right man, rather than seeking marriage for the sake of being married.

47, Wayland, MII am honest, sincere, and been fortunate in a lot of ways. I like to laugh and make people laugh. I would be considered "old fashion" in some regards. I love to travel and see new things, learn new cultures, and create memories. I enjoy being outdoors in the sun and on the water. I do enjoy skiing and some other winter sports, but I enjoy snow must of all while under a blanket, by a fire, with a glass of wine. I work in Hospitality so I would call myself an extrovert. I like to be impulsive when it comes to going out; however, I am a Veteran so there is still a side of me that likes a plan. I take family and friendship very seriously. I believe that you need strong relationships with friends/family in order to live life to the fullest. I do not play games and will tell you what I am thinking. I am a kid at heart, but mature enough to handle lifes ups and downs.
