51, Lindstrom, MNOK. I know this picture is not a very attractive picture but it is the most recent one I have scanned. It was taking on top of the St. Paul Cathedral, located in St. Paul MN, during the roofing renovation. As you can see I’m not afraid of heights. Should I mention I like amusement rides? :o) The company I work for designed the scaffolding. I do have other older photos and will share them if you would like. I am a convert to the Catholic faith. Being a convert at the age of 34 leaves me somewhat in the dust in regards to knowing the faith well. But that is OK because I enjoy studying, reading and learning about the faith. I also have a loving family that has taken me under their wings. They were the ones who helped me open my eyes, in so many ways, to the Catholic faith. Along with Father Altiers twelve part talk on the “Fundamentals of Catholicism”, I have had a really good start on learning, living and loving the Catholic Faith. Converting was a step I did not take lightly. I spent quite sometime looking into and studying the teachings of the Church before I joined. Being Catholic is an all or nothing covenant. That is why all my answers are “yes” to the Church teachings. Once you get past the negative propaganda being slung against the faith and look into why the Church teaches what it does, you understand why it is the way it is. There is NO compromising or bending or picking and choosing what you like about the Faith. I was married, am now divorced and filling out the papers for an annulment. From what I have been told it should not be a problem to get one. If you do contact me I will go into further details about this. I am a positive person. Always looking for the bright side of a person or situation. I would also consider myself independent, intelligent, conservative, laid back, upbeat person who likes to have fun and share smiles. Besides church events and going to adoration I like doing a variety of things. From being outdoors to spending the night out on the town to being lazy on the couch at home. I enjoy playing a variety of different team sports to camping, hiking, bicycling and yes, even yard work. Pretty much anything outside. Participation in team sports such as volleyball and bowling is fun and I try not to take it serious but rather on a fun competitive level. I like watching sports on TV but am finding myself watching less and less TV. On weekends it is fun to go for a drive. When it is time to relax I enjoy sitting by a fire
58, Saint Paul, MNIn the olden days if a lamb wandered away from the flock repeatedly, the shepherd would break the lamb's legs. And when the legs healed he would never stray again. That little lamb is me. I ain't NEVER wanderin' again. I stand in awe all day every day of the extravagant blessings God has showered this wretched sinner with and am passionately in love with Jesus. How can I keep from singing? (as the song goes.) Sometimes (often!) the love wells up in me at Mass and I will tear up, especially during the music, and I can't read they music thru my watery eyes! California native transplanted in 2012 to Minnesota to watch my grandchildren grow up. Have never been happier, though if you'd have told me I'd be living in the upper Midwest I would have told you you were crazy! Anyway, that's a little sampling. Check out CM Minnesota on the events page...here's something else about me - I love having guests! :D Hmmmm.......maybe I can put a link here: http://www.catholicmatch.com/events/details.html?event_id=20147 Oh, and one more thing - I feel I should clarify / qualify the widowed status. My long-time ex dropped dead unexpectedly in the middle of annulment proceedings, so I'm actually both divorced and widowed if you can believe that.
31, Saint Paul, MNI enjoy making people laugh and having a good time. I do not drink or smoke because I choose not to; if you want to I am cool with that. I am very family oriented if you cannot get along with my family it probably will not work out. I have never done a dating site before; I am trying it now due to the fact that it is so hard to find reasonable/mentally stable people these days. I am sure you must feel the same way if you are on here. I guess I do not know what I am looking for on here (Dating/Friendship?) maybe just to prove to myself that "good" people do exist. Thanks for reading.
36, Minneapolis, MNNot really sure what to say? I'm single and catholic, work a TON, but looking to meet new people and see where things go. To be honest I've never done anything like this before and its a little unnerving putting yourself out there for all to see, so maybe just send me a message if you want to know more?
63, Minneapolis, MNIm passionate about life spending time with my family and friends. The experiences that have influenced my life is traveling and the people that I have met on the way. Going to different parts of the country there is a difference in the way people live and act. I find that very interesting its what make the world go round. If we were all the same it would be a pretty boring place. I enjoy working in the yard, playing sports, working out, going to the movies, eating out, traveling, and staying active.
45, Elk River, MNI am an outgoing and quiet person rolled into one. I am an easy going, very thoughtful and caring person. I have been told that I am sensitive. I get along with just about anyone. I am a hard worker and very driven. I am not a lay about but think maybe that should relax a bit more. I am a pretty simple person who doesn't need much but the simple things in life. I am very affectionate and not afraid to show it but not in a overbearing type of way. I am a good, fun and easy going man looking for a thoughtful and caring woman that would spend their life with me and help me get to heaven as I would do the same. I am also a pretty modest person and am not a whiner. I am easy going and a bit shy depending on the atmosphere. I love to laugh, joke around and make others laugh and smile! I am very loyal and would never cheat nor go astray and that is a guarantee! This all came from the top of my head and I'm sure I missed a bunch things so feel free to ask me if there are other things you would like to know!
25, Andover, MNHello. My name is Elizabeth. My entire family is very precious to me and I don't know where I would be without them. I went to a private Catholic primary school from kindergarten to 8th grade and it was there, that I started the solid foundation I have with the Catholic Church, and with God. Throughout high school and college, I started to become lost in my faith and I didn't know if I would have the same connection as I did back in primary school. In 2013 I went to the Focus SEEK conference in Orlando, Florida and it literally changed my life. I reconnected with God on a whole new level and everyday I strive to make my connection even better. My passion is photography. I also enjoy going to movies, playing video games, dancing, shopping, hanging out with friends and family, horseback riding, anything Star Wars, trying new things, being spontaneous, and going on adventures!
68, Minnetrista, MNFriendly, outgoing conservative.Catholic Enjoy people with a sense of humor as I like to laugh. Love to dance! Working Full Time Live on a hobby farm in the western suburbs of Minneapolis with my draft horse and bird dog(Finished 2 year old Llewellin). Am a good cook but you are as likely to find me mending fences or cutting down a tree as baking an apple pie. Spend as much time as possible out of doors, working around the barn and taking long walks with my dog. Shovel snow for exercise, fun and rejuvenation. Love to quilt, knit, crochet and do other crafts. Vacation is a Cabin in Northern Minnesota - boating great food and nature walks. Have traveled the USA - not a passion of mine.
23, Minneapolis, MNI'm a nerd with a great interest in baseball, hunting, fishing and camping, and my fandoms. I speak fluently in movie and book quotes, and I love my music, both listening and playing (percussion). I'm really rather introverted, and so I'm much more interested in deep discussions about Philosophy, Theology, sports and politics than I am about "small talk". I code by day and umpire or ref (depending on the season) by night.
22, Minneapolis, MNI'm a go-getter, constantly taking on the next task and trying my hardest to do it well. Sports have had a huge impact on my life through teaching me teamwork and determination. As constantly as I'm moving, I find I can finally slow down when I'm out in nature. The wilderness, especially an environment of forests, mountains, and lakes, quiets my heart and pulls at my soul. I'm awed by the splendor of creation that surrounds us!
20, St Paul, MNMy faith is paramount to me. I'm proud to be a christian. I love the Catholic Church that gave me a catholic upbringing. I'd love to meet new people that share my christian and conservative values. I'm a bit introverted (I feel more comfortable having a few close friends). Well...it's fair to say that cheerful and optimistic people attract me uncommonly. My friends would say that I'm much of a prankster and poke fun at folks. (it's after my dad :P) I believe others appreciate my capability to stand up for my values in a religion-unfavorable environment. I have a lot of passion for maths, anthropology, cognitive science, engeneering, theology, philosophy, geography and politics (like heated debates of the 'roasted' series;). Typically I go for things that make me think. As for the outdoors I'm keen on hiking, camping, ice skating, swimming, shooting, martial arts but the thing I totally get off on is table tennis. I'm a ping addict. I've always been a table tennis leader at school. I can play it till I drop dead:P Farther I find pleasure in reading books before bed (especially those that address self-development and spirituality) and contemplating the Bible. Every Sunday when I pray in my cathedral I feel the presence of Christ and his infinite love that keeps me close to Him. I'm devoted to The Divine Mercy; St John Paul II and St Faustina. I cherish praying The Divine Mercy Chaplet with my family every day.
32, Minneapolis, MNBorn in Minneapolis, and I am excited to be moving back to the area in May! I've lived and worked in Europe (Zurich and Dublin) for several years and am now looking to put down roots now that I am back in the States. I learned a lot about the world and also a lot about myself. I've been successful in my first decade after college but definitely find myself jealous of my brother whose family includes 4 kids. I love the outdoors in all seasons, I'm calm under pressure, am ambitious, and above all enjoy the simple blessings in life. ENTJ Outside of work, I enjoy telling stories or discussing big topics, I love goofing around with my nieces and nephews, I enjoy cooking with friends, read about 1-2 books per week, and am training for a half-Ironman triathlon.
