I am an easy going kind of person. I am level headed, and don't let things bother me. Life is to short to let something get you down. When I first meet someone I am some what reserved, but once I have gotten to know someone I tend to be much more open. A good relationships takes time. I think the best relationships start out as friends and build from there, every loving relationship needs a base to build from. I enjoy traveling(mostly in the USA so far), golfing, hiking and going for walks, playing cards, reading a good book, going to the theater or concerts, Kona coffee, and trying new things. I don't want to spend my life waiting for love at first sight, although I know it can happen it is rare. I would rather take my time and get to know you, than hope for something that may never come. I like to think of myself as eclectic, not limiting myself to only what I know or have done already.

I love to play rec sports but recently had a knee surgery that took me out :( I'm working on recovery and hope to be back playing softball by this summer
  • Barbara, 46 from Saint Paul, MN
    46, Saint Paul, MN
I enjoy simple things that bring depth and richness to life: spending time with friends and family; helping the people God has placed in my life; learning and sharing what I've learned with others. I also love to laugh, dance, travel, and take photos.
  • April, 35 from Elk River, MN
    35, Elk River, MN
I've been blessed to have been raised in a family in which faith was of the greatest importance. I love being Catholic and learning more about my faith and how to better live it out in daily life. There are a lot of things I would love to learn, or wish I had more time to spend doing. The majority of my free time is spent with family and friends. In general, I just like to enjoy life, however that comes about. There is so much beauty in this world, and so many things to experience! I'm basically a friendly, pretty easy-going person. I can be a bit reserved in certain situations. A friend described me as a quiet extrovert, and I think that is a fair assessment. I thrive being around people, but I'm not that outgoing. Ultimately, I want to live so as to fulfill God's will in my life. I'm seeking someone who will help me to be a better person, and with whom we can journey towards salvation.
  • Nathanael, 29 from Minneapolis, MN
    29, Minneapolis, MN
My name is Nathanael (thank you Captain Obvious right?). Recently moved back to MN with my family. I am very passionate about the state of our country, and hope one day to be part of the solution. I'm becoming more active in things like the Patriot movement, and the Convention of States Project. I love to read, and learn about history. Football was the love of my life when I was young, and continues to be my favorite sport, sprinkled in with some hockey. I have a Black Lab named Strider (automatic points if you can tell me where the name comes from!). I love nature and the outdoors, Mostly looking for friends right now, as I have been disabled due to Chronic Lyme Disease for 5 years. I laugh at physical pain (ok, maybe just when in shock!), and see it as weakness leaving the body. I tend toward being even tempered, never too high, or too low. Want to know more, feel free to ask! :)

The most important things to me are my faith, family and friends. I love being outdoors biking, walking, travel and being on/near the water in the summer. They live in California, North Carolina and Minnesota.I am involved in a few non-profit organizations that involve children and a book club. I enjoy watercolor painting and other creative arts. I lost my husband suddenly 3 years ago and my children have been encouraging me to date.
  • Carmen, 44 from Roseville, MN
    44, Roseville, MN
After a difficult marriage and divorce, I have built a life that I love. My faith is important to me and I believe all things are truly possible in Christ. Funny how amazing things happen in life if you just believe and "Let go and let God". Spending time with my family is important to me. I have a great relationship with my nephews and I am their biggest cheerleader and they are mine. Seeing life through their eyes is awesome. I love sports (especially baseball, football, hockey, golf, and NASCAR). I love to read - both for fun and for work. I love horses and they are an extremely important part of the work I do. I enjoy being active and being outdoors. I really enjoy traveling as well. I have been told I have a great sense of humor - I enjoy making people laugh and smile. Life is too short to take too seriously - however I know there is a time and place for everything. The work I do is rewarding and challenging and I can't believe they pay me to do what I do. If you have kids (any age) that is completely fine with me. I would love them as my own - and give the upmost respect to whatever relationship you have with them and with their mother. If you don't have kids, that's fine as well. If you want kids though - I will not be a good fit as having children of my own is not an option for me. I hope this gives you a little idea of who I am. If you have any questions I'd love to hear from you!!
  • Glenn, 65 from Minneapolis, MN
    65, Minneapolis, MN
I believe you cannot really tell who you are until someone else tells you. But I consider myself an interesting person to be with. I have a good heart, good listener with great sense of humor. I have learned to let go and let God.. I take things as they come. I like to have fun on my free time. Love going to the beaches, walking or sitting down by the seaside, watching the sun rise and set. I also like to try something new, or sometimes just staying home relaxing, reading, watching sports, TV or movies.. I am happy with my job and life, except not having a companion to share it with.. I am ready to fall in love again and looking for someone to share life with. If you would like to learn more about me, send me a line or two on how to reach you and I will surely get back to you.

I'm a proud US Army veteran raised on Midwest catholic values. I am an Armed Security Officer at a courthouse currently, but soon will be training to be a corrections officer for the State of MN. I love this kind of work and can't wait to start a new career. I've had many jobs since I left the military. Most notably a mechanic and a paramedic. In my spare time I like to play ice hockey and fishing other outdoor activities though not as fun alone.
  • Alexis, 70 from Bloomington, MN
    70, Bloomington, MN
Having been retired for a period of time I found I had too much time on my hands. Working with people and being around them came easy for me. So I became a volunteer. I work with those who live with Alzheimer's disease. I call them my special people and love spending time with them. Mostly I enjoy reading to them. They seem to enjoy children's story books. I become a greatly involved with each story I read to them then try to get them to participate in interacting with me about each story. In treating them as adults rather than speaking down to them as if were children gets an ineligible response from them. They appreciate total respect. I give them the respect they deserve. I also volunteer at my church on Sundays as they need me at the Welcome Desk. Past experiences make you stronger as you learn from them. I do not judge anyone - and only know that the past should stay in the past. Loving someone is appreciating them for what they can bring into a healthy relationship. Having a healthy relationship is of utmost importance to me. Getting to know someone takes time. It is with time that a good relationship it built.
