In the olden days if a lamb wandered away from the flock repeatedly, the shepherd would break the lamb's legs. And when the legs healed he would never stray again. That little lamb is me. I ain't NEVER wanderin' again. I stand in awe all day every day of the extravagant blessings God has showered this wretched sinner with and am passionately in love with Jesus. How can I keep from singing? (as the song goes.) Sometimes (often!) the love wells up in me at Mass and I will tear up, especially during the music, and I can't read they music thru my watery eyes! California native transplanted in 2012 to Minnesota to watch my grandchildren grow up. Have never been happier, though if you'd have told me I'd be living in the upper Midwest I would have told you you were crazy! Anyway, that's a little sampling. Check out CM Minnesota on the events's something else about me - I love having guests! :D Hmmmm.......maybe I can put a link here: Oh, and one more thing - I feel I should clarify / qualify the widowed status. My long-time ex dropped dead unexpectedly in the middle of annulment proceedings, so I'm actually both divorced and widowed if you can believe that.

Hi, I converted to Catholicism is 2003 and I'm blessed to have had good friends guide me along the way. I've learned so much about the Catholic religion and am always trying to grow in holiness through prayer, Adoration and Mass. I have a 16 year old daughter that I love spending as much time as I can with her, playing sports, games, watching movies and teaching her about the Faith. Even though her mother and I are not together we strive to raise our child in the best environment for her. I love playing and watching all sports. I like to hike camp and explore what God has created for us.

Not a day goes by when I don't incorporate my faith into my life in some way, whether it's through prayer, learning more about the Church's teachings, or just by being aware of some aspect of God's creation. I try to practice my faith in a concrete way - it hasn't always been this way but by the Lord's grace and mercy I have done better over the past few years setting my sights on the things which really matter (the eternal ones). I try my best to be "in the world, but not of it", which is becoming more and more crucial since secularism and relativism are constantly gaining ground in our culture. As for hobbies, I enjoy reading, motorcycling, collecting vintage advertising signs, buying and selling on eBay, NFL football, cooking, doing crossword puzzles, listening to my collection of '70s rock music on CD (and expanding it when possible), keeping physically fit, attending flea markets and estate sales, attending antique farm power festivals in the summer, and visiting family. I've never been married, nor do I have any children (but I do have 11 nieces & nephews). I'm very conservative on political and social issues. If you know me it will go without saying that I am not a fan of Obama or any of his corrupt, disingenuous, immoral cronies (Hillary, Pelosi, Reid, Sebelius, Sharpton, et al). Don't ask what I think of the Hollywood elite, either... I need to mention that I love motorcycles - yes, I know motorcycling is an inherently dangerous hobby; no, I don't intend to give it up. :) My mate doesn't necessarily have to share my interest in motorcycles, but at a minimum she has to tolerate my interest in them. As far as personality type, I am more of an introvert, although I am pretty charming once you get to know me :) When in a relationship, I typically fare better with a woman who is more outgoing than me - the complimentary nature makes me feel more comfortable.

I'm a pretty loyal and honest guy that enjoys having fun! I'm a composer, singer, and a cop that likes to run, snowboard, sail, hunt, ride motorcycle, and many other things. I also have a very high energy dog that I run with whilst training for marathons! I also have a list of almost 70 life rules.

I am a very responsible and unselfish person. I hold many conservative and traditional values that have mostly dried up among our society. Among our culture I am someone that goes against the grain. I have a stubborn side to me which has helped me avoid cultural group think. I am a very independent thinker and I like to speak my mind in a genuine manner. My mind constantly seeks the reasons why things are the way they are. I am intellectually honest and a realist about life. I am intelligent yet humble. I believe relationships should not be self serving, but instead a selfless giving of oneself to another. I am very attentive and show a lot of care within a sincere relationship. I live within my means and my desire is to find happiness through love that a family can bring rather than through the emptiness of material gain. I collect military firearms, mostly from the WWII era and I have an appreciation for history. I do a lot of target shooting during months of suitable weather. During the winter season I try to attend as many gun shows as I can. My political beliefs are very conservative. As for my job I have been working in the IT field since I was 20. My only reason for dating is to find a marriage partner. I don't believe in dating for any other reason. I believe that love involves the choice to love and requires a high level of dedication, acceptance, and self giving. I believe that marriage should be a reflection of Christ's relationship with the church.

(Feel free to send me a message and I'll respond) I can't write a whole lot about myself as far as personality goes because it would be subject to my own opinion. Therefore I believe it would be better to get to know me first hand. However I will still try. I'm gentle, kind, loving, romantic, fun, sarcastic, and also shy. I was born with a cleft lip and palate so I'm not pretty. My life's been rough and I fell away from god early on and I was on the edge when he caught me. After that moment a couple years ago I've learned that we just gotta keep breathing and trying to love and forgive, even though some things are harder to love and forgive. Since then, nothing has been more important to me than the one and only true church of Christ, the Catholic Church. I'll more than likely try to make a joke about things in order to lighten up the subject. I am very conservative and believe in traditional practices of all sorts over new ones. Listening is one of my strengths and usually try to give advice if asked. Last but not least, I love my Neisse's and nephews as if they were my own. After all, I did help raise them for some part of their lives and can't wait till they grow up. I just hope they have better lives than I did growing up and most of all that they grow up with the faith. So not a whole lot about my personality, but you can always find out by starting a conversation. Oh, and I also LOVE GUNS. I'm currently investing in reloading my own bullets so as to make perfect bullets for future marksman shooting. Gun collecting and shooting is my hobby and weakness.

Hi! Welcome to my little profile! I have 7 brothers and sisters, and they mean the world to me. My family is so very important to me, as is my Catholic faith! I work a lot currently, I'm a certified light duty diesel specialist and automotive technician (haha, it's a mouthful I know). I was home schooled, then attended a technical school in Chicago. It was then that I decided that I'm not a big fan of city living haha. Don't get me wrong, it was a good experience and I'd love to visit more places (especially Ireland, Germany and Rome) but my roots are in southern MN. My parents showed me from day 1 what it means to be husband and wife, father and mother. I have some of the best role models a guy could ask for! I grew up in a strong Catholic household just outside of Faribault, MN and am still in the area along with my family :) My work schedule allows me to attend daily Mass on occasion and I always attend Mass on Sunday. Between that and sticking close to the other sacraments (like my mom told me to lol) I think I have a pretty good chance of Not landing in hell ;) praise the Lord! Pax tecum
  • Nathanael, 29 from Minneapolis, MN
    29, Minneapolis, MN
My name is Nathanael (thank you Captain Obvious right?). Recently moved back to MN with my family. I am very passionate about the state of our country, and hope one day to be part of the solution. I'm becoming more active in things like the Patriot movement, and the Convention of States Project. I love to read, and learn about history. Football was the love of my life when I was young, and continues to be my favorite sport, sprinkled in with some hockey. I have a Black Lab named Strider (automatic points if you can tell me where the name comes from!). I love nature and the outdoors, Mostly looking for friends right now, as I have been disabled due to Chronic Lyme Disease for 5 years. I laugh at physical pain (ok, maybe just when in shock!), and see it as weakness leaving the body. I tend toward being even tempered, never too high, or too low. Want to know more, feel free to ask! :)
  • Danielle, 25 from Minneapolis, MN
    25, Minneapolis, MN
Hi. My name is Dani. There are a few important things you should know about me. First, I am a conservative libertarian who feels called by God to fight for liberty. I am not sure how I should do this, but I currently prefer grassroots activism over running for office. I wish to be with a man who shares my passion for liberty and will fight alongside me. Second, I feel a special call to minister to prisoners and ex-offenders. I have a master's degree in criminal justice, and I currently work in security for an alternative school. I want to someday work in corrections to help former offenders turn their lives around. I believe in restorative justice, forgiveness, and second chances. I need someone who will respect and understand my compassion and concern for this special group of people. Writing is very important to me. I love writing fiction, and I currently have a few novels in progress that I hope to get published soon. I try to show God's love through my writing to help bring truth to light in the minds and hearts of those who read my works. Stories are a powerful way to influence people and culture. Lastly, it is important to note that I am an introvert, not shy. I am not afraid of social situations, but I may not talk much at first. I appreciate it when people are patient with me and encourage me to open up to them at my own pace. I think deeply, and my actions speak louder than my words.

  • Matt, 26 from Fridley, MN
    26, Fridley, MN
Hi I'm Matt. MN born and raised. First off, yes, my hair looks like that naturally. No product needed. Now a bit about myself. I love being active. Whether it's repeatably moving heavy things up and down at the gym, catching someone in an arm bar while training Brazilian Jiu-jitsu, or walking/playing/getting chewed on by my dog, I'm doing something all the time. All this is immensely helpful in my line of work as a youth minister (I mean come on, I can't let myself get beaten in dodgeball). Personality wise, I'm pretty easy going and laid back. I also have a tendency to use humor basically all the time. That's pretty much the only way I can survive working with teenagers. I'm my opinion, God made spring, summer, and fall for motorcycles and the riding of the afore mentioned vehicles. Riding is the absolute best way to get around, no exceptions. My family is pretty awesome, and I thoroughly enjoy spending time with them when I can. I'm also finishing up a Masters degree St. Thomas, ya know, just for fun (and all those other potential career and intellectual benefits too I guess). If you didn't catch it already, I'm a youth minister. It's pretty awesome, seeing as I get to simultaneously help teenagers grow in their relationships with Jesus and play all sorts of crazy games. I love Jesus. That's why I do what I do, so I can help others love Him as well (and getting paid to play dodgeball is pretty sweet too). I'm incredibly blessed to be able to make a living serving Christ in His Church.

I'm a nerd with a great interest in baseball, hunting, fishing and camping, and my fandoms. I speak fluently in movie and book quotes, and I love my music, both listening and playing (percussion). I'm really rather introverted, and so I'm much more interested in deep discussions about Philosophy, Theology, sports and politics than I am about "small talk". I code by day and umpire or ref (depending on the season) by night.
