My name is John! I come from a family of 6 people. My family includes my parents, my older brother, my older sister and her husband and my younger sister and her husband. I also have three nieces and five nephews. Over the past few years, I have really gotten to know and appreciate the Traditional Latin Mass. (I usually serve for Father when he celebrates it.) I think if one would get to understand and appreciate it, they would get a better understanding of what really happens during Mass. I also like basketball, baseball, and football to name a few other interests. I will go hunting in the fall as well. These are just a few interests to name a few. If you have any other questions please ask! :)

My way of living can be explained best by the book, "The Practice of the Presence of God," which is based on writings by a Carmelite monk, Brother Lawrence. Frankly, I depend deeply on daily Holy Communion and the psalms in the Liturgy of the Hours-Daily Office. I entered the Catholic Church in 2006 -- by far the best decision I have ever made!

I am quiet natured but enjoy a good laugh. I enjoy open dialogue although I am conservative. My Catholic faith is important to me and should be to you too. I tend towards Benedictine spirituality. I like the Early Church fathers and mothers as well as praying the rosary and the liturgy of the hours. I like the Latin mass because I find it more reverent. I want to be reminded that I am in the presence of God. However, I don't actually attend Latin mass as it is not readily available here. My family is important to me as well. I come from a family with 8 children of whom I am the youngest. I am a military brat and have lived in the US, Germany and the Azores. My parents are still living and I visit as often as possible. I have an adult son whom I am very proud of who has continued the family tradition of military service. I enjoy reading, computers, walking (especially with a friend), oceans and lakes. I also like playing cards and board games. I like making people feel good about themselves. I am a nurse who spent much of her career working with critically ill children. I am owned by a cat but love most animals. Wouldn't a Ilama but cool? Ok maybe not so much but dogs definitely are. I have fantasies about living on land with horses, goats, chickens but I admit I would be clueless about what to do with them. My life is busy but I am willing to make time for the right person. While I have fun being with others, I need quiet contemplative time as well.

I Began a different life closer to the church I participate in the choir and I gather to read the bible with my brothers of the church and try to live little by little to a Christian life, I work full time in the company oshkosh mcneilius in the area of Manufacturing near rochester, mn.me like to play guitar and sing music that glorifies God, among other things I like nature, admire the greatness that God created to enjoy us. Try to live my Christian faith. mathew 6: Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothes? Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? Can any one of you by worrying add a single hour to your life[a]? "And why do you worry about clothes? See how the flowers of the field grow. They do not labor or spin. Yet I tell you that not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these. If that is how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, will he not much more clothethin you of little faitthin So do not worry, saying, What shall we eat? or 'What shall we drink?' or 'What shall we wear?' For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them. But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.
