39, Rochester, MNHi ..obviously some people just call me Michael...Thought Id give this a try...I do not have a subscription at this time so it does take a few days till I can read your messages. Looking to make some new friends and possibly find a good catholic girl! I absolutely love my family! Summer is my favorite time of the year. 41, Lyle, MNFirst off hello to who ever's reading this and thanks for the interest. Although I've never been married and have no children I'd like to change that if I'm lucky enough to meet the ''right" gal. People that know me well would probably say I'm sincere, funloving, dependable, and hardworking. I live in the country on an acerage which I have always been, in the rural area. Not really much of a going out uptown, or bar person. Instead I'd rather hang out at home or go to family or a friends house. Enjoy spending time outdoors fishing, biking, canoeing, and hunting. In the winter I'll cross country ski some as well. In a nutshell that's me.
31, Rochester, MNHello! My name is Andrea, I'm Italian - hence the girl name :) - and I've recently moved to Rochester to be a physics resident at Mayo. I've been in the US for almost seven years now, first in California where I got my Ph.D. and now here in the MidWest. Truth be told, I've never been thrilled at the idea of online dating and part of me is still very skeptical about it - I guess it may be a leap of faith after all. However with the new location and long hours at work I figured it may be my best bet to get to know new people. I appreciate how this website is built around the idea of dating with the goal of getting married and how much importance it put into someone's faith. I look forward to the idea of first dates where I don't have to worry about the date's possible reaction at my praying before meals! So that's why I'm on Catholic Match today. About me, I am an imperfect man that tries every day to understand and put to work the talents I was entrusted by God. I try to live with the goal of making the day of everybody I meet a little bit better, whether or not I know them, even just by smiling at them or asking them how their day is going. In my personal time, I enjoy cooking, running and being active outdoors - my definition of perfect weekend involves a backpack, hiking boots and of course Holy Mass to renew my commitment to ordinary holiness. Several saints have been influential in making me the person I strive to be, mostly from the region I grew up in Italy - St. John Bosco, St. Domenico Savio and Blessed Pier Giorgio Frassati. I don't know how this is going to work out but I'm approaching it with an open heart trying to keep my skepticism away. Since I'm new to this world I'll probably make several etiquette mistakes in the beginning - I ask for your forgiveness in advance! In Christ, Andrea

31, Blue Earth, MNMy faith is important to me, and I love spending my time growing closer to Christ. I enjoy going to daily mass when I can, and I love going to events and talks to learn more about my faith and how to apply it to my everyday life. Schoenstatt, German for a beautiful place, is a Marian movement approved by the church, that I have been involved with for most of my life. It helps me stay focused on being close to Mary and Jesus. Self education is something I find appealing, especially in areas of Catholicism and health. I homeschool my son, who is in first grade. We both love exploring and traveling. I love being with friends, going for walks, researching family history, reading, and a lot of other little hobbies such as gardening, photography, and traveling. I spent a year abroad in Germany after my high school graduation. That was one of the best things I've ever done! I volunteered for the Schoenstatt movement, and enjoyed the international aspect, as well as learning German. I haven't kept up the German, but I would like to pick it up again. I am generally a patient person, sometimes more shy than I like to admit, but I try not to let it rule me. I am pretty easy going, and enjoy a peaceful atmosphere. I love listening to Christian and occasionally to classical music. I go to Christian concerts a few times a year if I can. I play the piano and I'm leaning the violin with my son.
