Hello there - thanks for taking the time to read my profile! I consider myself to be an adventurous person that likes to keep things simple and enjoy time with other people. My faith and my interest in the world around me are very fundamental in helping me make decisions. My faith also keeps me centered and gives me positive strength. People in my life tend to consider me very kind and trustworthy, but also very hard-working and goal-driven. I like to volunteer time with various organizations and with church, and I enjoy doing nice things for people in my life, especially family, friends, and those that least expect it. When free time allows itself, my favorite things to do often involve the outdoors, such as camping, canoeing, fishing, running, bicycling, skiing, and travelling. Music is a passion of mine, too, as I enjoy singing, playing various instruments, and leading music with others.

One of my highest compliments was a favorite boss's describing me as a person of high integrity; I'm seeking a man of the same. Though I'm employed full-time as a care coordinator in social services/health care, I'm domestic at heart. I love cooking, baking, entertaining at home (especially dinner and game nights). I had an old-fashioned home blessing when I moved into my small house after my divorce 21 years ago, and consider my home a haven of God's love, peace ... and fun! Making connections with other people and just plain sharing God's love with others in small ways as I move through my daily life are things that I find very rewarding. I'm crazy about being a mother to my adult daughter, loved being very involved with my darling mom who just passed away at age 101, and enjoy a loving extended family. I have belonged to the same friendly, socially active, on-the-progressive side parish for over 25 years, but for the last few months have been Catholic church hopping, looking for a place to land that is a little more conservative/traditional, without sacrificing the friendliness and social justice focus. Still looking! I go back to "my" parish when I need a dose of "home"- when I feel the need to know and be known by others. It's exciting and fun, though, to try different churches. Each has her own personality, to be sure. God will lead me where He wants me to worship and to become active. I love thrift shops, garage sales and good bargains, plays and musicals, concerts (outdoor free ones, right now!), dances, art, historical sites, yard work and gardening, cultural differences and experiences, walks/hikes. Now that Mom doesn't need me, anymore, I intend to take some voice lessons to eventually have courage to try out for community theater, and I'm involved in a Catholic Bible study. I have true friends of both sexes. I've been single for many years, now, and I kinda like it (!), but If there's a man out there perfect for me and vice versa, I'm open to our finding each other. Would prefer that be the old-fashioned way of just meeting someone through friends, work or church and letting any attractions naturally evolve, but meeting people that way seems harder now, doesn't it?

Hi, I'm Andrew! I've done a lot of things in my life that I'm very proud of: I joined the Marines and was sent to Africa twice. I helped my Dad fulfill one of his dreams by starting a restaurant. And I became a teacher. Along the way I've gone fishing and swimming in the Gulf of Aden, I met Toby Keith and General Jones within an hour of each other, I've taken several trips to the Boundary Waters, and I've visited as many waterfalls as I could find! I have a lot of hobbies that I spend time on. Ive been heading to parks around the city with some of my friends to play chess in interesting places - most notably, on the top of Shadow Falls (it was awesome!). I've also been teaching myself to play the piano. Its not going super well, but its coming along. And I'm working on my grilling skills. My grilled veggie stir-fry is really good, and I'm getting pretty close to being able to grill steakhouse quality steaks on a Weber grill (charcoal only, thank you very much ;-P ). I also love to read - there are some books that just feel like home - and spend time outdoors. Canoeing, hiking, going to the Arboretum, playing tennis or soccer, watching a baseball game (I'm a big St. Louis Cardinals fan), almost anything that happens outside is fine by me! I love looking at things that are old, especially if they have a family history behind them. I try to collect deep, interesting, or fun quotes that help me see things in a new light. And I love almost all things French, especially the wine!

I'm real bad at writing bio's so bear with me please. Trying to type what you are in 2500 characters isn't enough to give anyone a real good idea of who you are but I'll do my best. Anyways, Here's the meat and potatos. I graduated from college in 2008 having finished my degree in poli sci. After that, I deployed in 2009. I've been back since 2010 having worked on a couple of campaigns but now I do manufaturing work, which isn't my ideal type of work but its good, honest, and stable work for now. Other than that, I like having a few beers with buddies on the weekends watching a good football, hockey and baseball game or playing cards while doing all of the above. I go fishing when I get that chance and I also like going to see bands play once in awhile. I like to try new things and I'm not affraid of taking risks if the oppurtunity is right. I live in Minnesota and I like the winters, (just not when its gets to be -30 below zero). I used to cliff jump, was in amature boxing for a few years and now i coach it at a boxing gym close to my place. I'm much more settled down now having tried out many different things in my life. I'm pretty laid back in my daily activities. What you see is what you get. I might accidently drop a cus word in church, I might forget something important, but I'm loyal and my love for God doesn't change. I'm a devout Catholic. I love my faith and its been a big part of my life, especially when I came back to the church at the age of 19. My faith in God and his church are what guide me in my daily tasks. God comes first in my life, and everyone else is second. That's how I try to live. It might seem blunt but I guess that's what I am. Hopefully it doesn't turn away that special person that I'm praying to meet someday.

Thanks for stopping. I am looking for a relationship with the potential for more. My match is someone who, as a movie title states, "Must Love Dogs". I have three rescue dogs that are a large part of my life. I also enjoy a variety of activities - both indoor and outdoor.I am working on updating the landscaping in my yard to include more nature friendly characteristics. Favorite books are James Herriot's series of "All Creatures Great and Small"

Hi, my name is Juan and I enjoy the vibrancy of life. I love learning about people, places, and things. Every day is a gift from God and I try to make the most of it. I look forward to a delicious meal in the evening followed by a good movie and or show to watch. During football season I look forward to watching the Vikings. My biggest influence in my life have been my mother and father as my mother taught me compassion and my father taught me dignity, integrity, and confidence. Many other people have influenced my life, ranging from teachers, coaches, and co-workers to family, friends and even strangers. I love to travel either by plane, train, boat or car. I also like to create, laugh heartily, and enjoy my blessings. After a 29 year marriage and a very sad divorce, I am newly ready to meet an elegant, intelligent woman to enjoy sharing life with, beginning with going to mass.

Hi! I'm a college IT professor and I love sharing my knowledge and guiding my students in learning new things. I'm most passionate about helping others. I think this comes from the great influence of family members in my life and a deep commitment to faith. I enjoy spending leisure time doing things which allow me to take a step away from my more challenging projects and reflect whether that is a bike ride, a hike, canoeing/kayaking, spending time in nature, or sweeping a floor.

I am passionate about community service and service to God and my neighbor. The people who have been the most influential in my life are teachers. In my leisure time I like to listen to music, shop (within reason), visit with friends and family. I like to cook and am pretty good at it.

Hello! I think the best way to describe myself is, I'm an easygoing person, who's serious where it counts. I'm an engineering student at Minnesota with lots of hobbies. I started playing piano when I was 4...fast-forward 17 years and I have a small studio in my bedroom. It's fun! I also like DIY projects, hiking, cooking, and I operate an amateur radio station. I grew up in Minnesota, but I've spent so much time in Upper Michigan it's like a second home. I speak a tiny bit of German, I write with a fountain pen, and I like to study history. Anything else, just ask me :)
