69, Minneapolis, MNI am passionate about my faith; it is the one never changing part of life. The gift is immeasurable and one that is pure, beautiful and true. Life to me is a gift and to be enjoyed and cherished always. My parents were very influential. They past on the catholic faith, encouraged education, stressed family bonds, and seeking knowledge of this world. I have met many people from many different life styles in my professional life. I enjoy spending time with my children, grandchildren , extended family and some close friends. I enjoy reading ,movies and educational programs on television. Cooking and nutrition, exercise, and play. Sports and the arts. I have many interests centered around my everyday life. I like to travel to warm weather places and Nothern Minnesota Lakes. Music is favorite.

I have recently retired and enjoying it! My parents, my Aunt, two priests, and two nuns influenced my life. life is good no matter what!
63, Morristown, MNI am a Catholic first. I have a musical side to me. I like animals, in fact I just got done watching a few deer in my yard. I grew up the middle child of five girls, and now there are children and grandchildren. Family is good. I like reading spiritual books when I am alone, but I yearn to share what I read because when I read it I need an outlet. I have been living on my own since 2003. I have two grown children, one married and one single that live on their own, and one grandchild. I have tried to leave room for questions... ask me anything.
64, Victoria, MNGreetings Do you like home cooking? I enjoy cooking but looking for that someone special to cook for. I love walking, boating and being in nature but i also enjoy a dressy night out or a casual BBQ or cards with friends. I love meeting new people. If you are interested in meeting new people I'd love to hear from you.
64, Two Harbors, MNI am in my first year of the next chapter of life, in retirement, living in a location I've chosen as the perfect "castle" for me. I love living in four season part of country, near enough to my children and four grandchildren to engage in the important parts of their lives, but not so close as to purpose my life as integration into theirs. My life is an active one, rising early, putting God first by heading off to daily morning Mass before coming home for healthy activities like a good breakfast and morning fitness, then to spend my days simply being active and challenging my mind. My daily passion is to turn my place the "castle, park like" perfect retirement" living with nature surrounding me. For me, the turn is through DIY projects (If you hire out the work, it isn't mine, and it doesn't get the caring quality I can now have). In the warmer months I love landscaping and gardening. I make my fitness part of my active life, so long bike rides and hiking in the warmer months, while cross country skiing in the winter snow are interests of mine. Overall, I try to do the will of God, recognizing my state of life, enjoying the days with hobbies and interests I could never otherwise get to while raising my family of 3 girls. I was married for 22 years, divorced (& annulled) for almost 20. I enjoy movies, day and weekend trips. My favorite hobbies are biking, golf and flying. I have a pilot's license, owned airplanes over the years, now to build one. I also like boating. I enjoy card games, a little TV, albeit selective on shows that are morally healthy. I have a professional background & mathematics and business, specifically an actuary, having reached quite high levels. I live by the adage of "anything worth doing is worth doing right", so like to study before jumping into things which means into each of my hobbies. Although I haven't found the opportunity yet, I'd like to find part time work or other worthwhile volunteer effort to give back through my unique skills I've acquired over my life, as I believe that is God's will for each of us while we are healthy enough to do so.
65, Saint Paul, MNI am a very honest, compassionate person. I believe deeply in my Catholic faith. Family is very important to me. In my leisure time I enjoy many things and I try to go dancing at least once a week. I also do artwork (painting, drawing, etc.). I enjoy doing most things, however, I am really not into sports. I do like to watch hockey. I enjoy hiking especially in the mountains in Idaho/Montana border. I have had many people in my life that I admire, some were mentors. When I find someone I will share more.
63, Rogers, MNI will be very frank with you. My name is Frank, I have a great sense of humor and enjoy making people laugh. A long time ago, I saw a picture of the "Laughing Jesus". I wondered how could a man of sorrows experience joy. That's where I figure I could help others because Jesus lives in every one of us. If I can give someone a little smile then I like to think I'm giving Jesus a little smile too. Because he loves each of us, I know he is laughing with me and not at me. Yeah, I pretty sure of that. Really. I have no doubt because over the last few year I learned how to pray. You are supposed to pray with your whole heart, mind, soul and being. I have come to understand that includes your feelings in giving praise, honor, glory, thanksgiving and love. When you do that prayer time after prayer time, you feel the presence of Almighty God. I kid you not. When I was younger the nuns used to talk about the "Holy Ghost Bumps". I could go into a lot more explanation, but it might be easier just to Google it. If we get a chance to meet we will hold and raise our hand to heaven and share that presence together. My leisure time is pretty basic (or lousy depending how you look at it) because I don't have someone to share it with. It is something that will probably change, more than likely not. That is to be expected. Currently...I enjoy computers, reading, tv, and a tad of movies now and then. Just have to figure out what I will have to enjoy less of. Looking forward............. 01/01/2016

69, Grand Rapids, MNI am a retired high school teacher of German language. For thirty-two years I lived and taught in Germany. I am passionate about our Catholic faith. Having just moved to Grand Rapids very recently, I am still getting settled in. I plan on attending daily Mass. I love Holy Mother Church and all her teachings. I would very much like to meet a like-minded Catholic woman who is also passionate about our faith. I am a non-smoker and have a very infrequent alcoholic drink. I have never taken an illegal drug...and am healthy...mentally, physically and spiritually. I am looking for the same in a woman.

My friends and family have been the most influential in my life. Always there for me in the good times and the not so good times. I attended an all girl high school and our bond is incredible. I have 3 children who are wonderful adults and have blessed me with 7 very special and delightful grandchildren. I recently became a member of St. Peter's Church in Mendota Heights and look forward to becoming more involved. I am very happy with my choice and I feel this is a good fit for me and excited to meet new people.
70, Bloomington, MNHaving been retired for a period of time I found I had too much time on my hands. Working with people and being around them came easy for me. So I became a volunteer. I work with those who live with Alzheimer's disease. I call them my special people and love spending time with them. Mostly I enjoy reading to them. They seem to enjoy children's story books. I become a greatly involved with each story I read to them then try to get them to participate in interacting with me about each story. In treating them as adults rather than speaking down to them as if were children gets an ineligible response from them. They appreciate total respect. I give them the respect they deserve. I also volunteer at my church on Sundays as they need me at the Welcome Desk. Past experiences make you stronger as you learn from them. I do not judge anyone - and only know that the past should stay in the past. Loving someone is appreciating them for what they can bring into a healthy relationship. Having a healthy relationship is of utmost importance to me. Getting to know someone takes time. It is with time that a good relationship it built.
