Never married and alone on the farm. I've been in love a couple times and would love to marry to the right lady. I've worked overseas for a drilling company and would prefer being close to home. Life is casual for me not to ever fuss or fight with a spouse. I would be content to live out my days at the old homestead however only God knows the future and for the right lady would go to the ends of the earth. Its always great to love and be loved.

I am a very caring and compassionate individual, who enjoys good conversation over a cup of coffee, or a glass of wine. Cruises and waterfront vacations are my favorite. I find much peace and beauty in watching the sunrise and set, especially when they are shared with someone. Faith, trust, honesty, and committment are values that I cherish and look for in others. I am a Saints and LSU fan and enjoy watching these teams play. I also believe that life is too short not to enjoy. God has a plan for each of us, sometimes we just have to be open to His plan.

Recently relocated to Gulfport, MS. Retired Air Force, prior small business owner and cattle producer. Seeking a woman free of familial obligations and responsibilities. One that enjoys occasional evenings out(dinner, theater, movies, and even mere walks in the park and watch a sunset), and other pleasantries of life, in itself, generally. Personally, I enjoy conversations that employ intelligent conversations of any and all subjects including even the unmentionable topics of religion and politics. You see, I have no fear! If you have read to this point, you may conclude that I have begun a new chapter in my life and wish to live it to its fullest. Gone are the days of the worries of raising children and 'keeping up the Jones'. I have no immediate or long-term health concerns(to my knowledge). Yet, I do have my faults. I am prone to spontaneity. Yes,it may be simply a trip out to a rural farm pond with a bamboo pole and fish for bream, it may mean a 500 mile trip to Key West and have a margarita on the beach, with a side trip to the Dry Tortugus, even a plane ride to celebrate Christmas Eve Mass at St. Stephens Cathedral in Budapest, Hungary or the notion to help my brother bale and stack hay for a couple weeks. Isn't life great to help others and also to enjoy yourself. Sorry, I don't have a picture. I don't have a recent photo nor do I have the faintest idea of how to include it in this submission. I have been told that I clean up well nor have I embarrassed anyone because of my dress, personal hygiene, or my physical appearance. Talk to you soon Dave

"Why is this guy looking for women in their early sixties?" Well, let me tell you; none of us age at the identical rate. I don't look my age, I don't think that age, and I certainly get around like a late fifties or early sixties guy: tennis, sailing, busy daily schedule . . . early Mass on Sundays, always. An active reader of so many different subjects . . . see? that is why. Mom said 'we come from good stock, son.' and I believe her. My brother did a DNA sample for his genealogy study, we're 70 something Irish, but with some French and Maltese spice up in there!

I love my family although they can be hard to deal with sometimes. I am very considerate to women and I don't believe in abuse (physically or mentally). I am not into heavy drinking but don't mind an occasional glass of wine or a beer and sometimes a drink. I love football (college and pros). I love listening to good music ( southern rock, country, old time soul music, old time rock and roll). I love cooking and are always looking for something new to try. Bad Habit: I smoke but am always trying to quit.

I just retired this past April from a job that I was basically married to. I've worked since I was 16 yrs old, raised 2 beautiful independent children who have college degrees and good jobs. I'm now at the point in my life where I can finally say that it's MY turn to put myself first and have fun while I'm still healthy and fit. I've enjoyed my life and don't regret any hard work I had to do to accomplish all the good things I've been blessed with today. Now that I have the time, I try to balance my life between family, working around the house and yard, church, volunteer work, exercising, friends and social activity. The only activity that is consistent for me at this time is: I work out at the gym from 6:30 a.m. to 7:30 a.m. on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. Every Thursday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. I volunteer at Gulfport Memorial Hospital in the Main Surgery Waiting room. And on Saturday nights I do not stay home. Some things I enjoy doing are dancing, going out to dinner, family gatherings, fishing, day trips, traveling, cruises, going to the gym, cooking, working in my yard, going to a movie, boating, spending time with friends, etc. I feel if you're with the right person it really doesn't matter what you do. I also enjoy the simple things in life. I've had fun riding a tractor in the woods or just going on a hay ride, or going to a rodeo. I enjoy going to nice places like a Carnival Ball or formal dinner. Yet I enjoy putting on an old pair of shorts and going fishing and crabbing or digging in the dirt in my yard to do some planting. I'm family oriented because I come from a good family. My parents and siblings are a big part of who I am and what I look for in a partner. How a man treats/treated his mother, children, or x-wife says a lot about him. I admire a man with integrity and confidence. And he would have to be honest and trustworthy as well. Being mentally and financially stable is also important.

I enjoy people, good conversations, fine dining, outdoor activities, and travel. My faith anchors my life and all that I think or do. I am a teacher and have taught CCD for my church. I also volunteer for Breadbasket, bagging and delivering food to the needy. I find that I am happiest when I am giving, serving, loving.
