68, Laurel, MSI thought I would edit my profile so here goes.Well, I still appreciate the natural world and get much happiness from simple creature comforts. Some things should not be subject to edit.Practical in nature and change does not come easy. I spend most of my time in Ms. working on my home, out buildings and pond where my woodworking hobby comes in handy. Since I am only 90% retired, I have to get back to Houston for a few days each month. I enjoy traveling so every other week I take a day trip (2days and 1 night). The east side of Mobile Bay is a favorite trip. The next week you can find me at the fish camp for a couple of days. When I have a purpose, I am extremely focused or fixed. Hopefully one day I can make that purpose you. My tastes are basically conventional or classic. I am a patient person and follow my instincts more often than " the experts". I cherish my Catholic faith and strive thru books, CD's and seminars to increase my awareness of the power of, and rationale for the faith and I have found that the more of this I do the more I enjoy it. I would like to put in a plug for Scott Hahn. Everyone should listen first to the CD on his conversion and then to his CD titled "The Fourth Cup".

62, Gulfport, MSI have been divorced long enough. I have been in several relationships that did not work out for whatever reasons. One day the almighty (or match) will send me that perfect partner. I promise it wont be me that screws it up. I never thought it would be this difficult. My sister met her husband on match.
73, Ocean Springs, MS"Why is this guy looking for women in their early sixties?" Well, let me tell you; none of us age at the identical rate. I don't look my age, I don't think that age, and I certainly get around like a late fifties or early sixties guy: tennis, sailing, busy daily schedule . . . early Mass on Sundays, always. An active reader of so many different subjects . . . see? that is why. Mom said 'we come from good stock, son.' and I believe her. My brother did a DNA sample for his genealogy study, we're 70 something Irish, but with some French and Maltese spice up in there!
68, Picayune, MSFamily is very important to me and I am interested in someone who understands the importance of these family ties. I do still work part-time and keep my grandsons, but I do have free time that I look forward to spending time with someone who has like interests and would enjoy sharing. I am not interested in getting married again but am interested in meeting someone that is warm, honest, has a sense of humor, and easy to talk to. I am not interested in relocating because my family is growing and I want to be close enough to enjoy them.
65, Pass Christian, MSI am 64 years old, widowed the last five years and retired last year. I live out in the country north of Pass Christian. I spend a good bit of time keeping nature from taking over and such. I enjoy the peace and quiet, but sometimes it's a little too quiet. I'd like to find a lady to do things with, possibly travel, and if that led to something permanent, so much the better.
67, Gulfport, MSMy name is Linda and I live on the coastal area of Mississippi, formerly a midwesterner.' I retired this year from the medical field and enjoying every minute. I love to travel and treated myself to a 12 day trip to Ireland. Future traveling is on my wish list. I enjoy community volunteering, aqua arobics, walking and eating healthy. God is number One in my life. I have placed my faith in him. Not to say I don't take it back at times. It's a work in progress....

I love listening to good music ( southern rock, country, old time soul music, old time rock and roll). I love cooking and are always looking for something new to try. Bad Habit: I smoke but am always trying to quit.

69, Biloxi, MSI am an outgoing person who enjoys interacting with people of all races and nationalities.I look forward to communicating with others on a daily basis, especially with those where i live, that i have come to know. The people that were the most influential in my childhood and especially teen years were my parents. We shared their experiences in life with me often. I enjoy dining out, going to good movies and strolling beach. It is so relaxing to me.I enjoy a good cup of coffee and interacting with a nice, christian lady.
63, Pass Christian, MSI just retired this past April from a job that I was basically married to. I've worked since I was 16 yrs old, raised 2 beautiful independent children who have college degrees and good jobs. I'm now at the point in my life where I can finally say that it's MY turn to put myself first and have fun while I'm still healthy and fit. I've enjoyed my life and don't regret any hard work I had to do to accomplish all the good things I've been blessed with today. Now that I have the time, I try to balance my life between family, working around the house and yard, church, volunteer work, exercising, friends and social activity. The only activity that is consistent for me at this time is: I work out at the gym from 6:30 a.m. to 7:30 a.m. on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. Every Thursday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. I volunteer at Gulfport Memorial Hospital in the Main Surgery Waiting room. And on Saturday nights I do not stay home. Some things I enjoy doing are dancing, going out to dinner, family gatherings, fishing, day trips, traveling, cruises, going to the gym, cooking, working in my yard, going to a movie, boating, spending time with friends, etc. I feel if you're with the right person it really doesn't matter what you do. I also enjoy the simple things in life. I've had fun riding a tractor in the woods or just going on a hay ride, or going to a rodeo. I enjoy going to nice places like a Carnival Ball or formal dinner. Yet I enjoy putting on an old pair of shorts and going fishing and crabbing or digging in the dirt in my yard to do some planting. I'm family oriented because I come from a good family. My parents and siblings are a big part of who I am and what I look for in a partner. How a man treats/treated his mother, children, or x-wife says a lot about him. I admire a man with integrity and confidence. And he would have to be honest and trustworthy as well. Being mentally and financially stable is also important.
