68, Laurel, MSI thought I would edit my profile so here goes.Well, I still appreciate the natural world and get much happiness from simple creature comforts. Some things should not be subject to edit.Practical in nature and change does not come easy. I spend most of my time in Ms. working on my home, out buildings and pond where my woodworking hobby comes in handy. Since I am only 90% retired, I have to get back to Houston for a few days each month. I enjoy traveling so every other week I take a day trip (2days and 1 night). The east side of Mobile Bay is a favorite trip. The next week you can find me at the fish camp for a couple of days. When I have a purpose, I am extremely focused or fixed. Hopefully one day I can make that purpose you. My tastes are basically conventional or classic. I am a patient person and follow my instincts more often than " the experts". I cherish my Catholic faith and strive thru books, CD's and seminars to increase my awareness of the power of, and rationale for the faith and I have found that the more of this I do the more I enjoy it. I would like to put in a plug for Scott Hahn. Everyone should listen first to the CD on his conversion and then to his CD titled "The Fourth Cup".
46, Brandon, MSHi there fellas! I've been a member here for several years but have mostly been an inactive one. Recently, I've been getting back into the dating scene (but, mostly ended up dating non-catholics due to my location) and would really like to find someone to spend the rest of my life with. I love my Catholic faith and believe in the teachings of the church. I like to have fun, get outside for a run, bike ride or just work in the yard whenever possible. I'm looking for someone who wants to strive for the real thing...long-term commitment, fun, bringing each other closer to Christ and to each other in our daily lives while also striving to make a positive impact in our community. I find that some folks kind of pull back from being involved when they are single and middle-aged. I don't want to be one of those people and I bet you don't either. Looking for a partner in crime... haha - in life and love.
61, Greenwood, MSI am a never married still slightly attractive swm 58 years old.I've had a few chances to marry over the years, just never took that big step. However I think I could definitely take that step now with the right person. My work allows me the opportunity to travel if I choose to,so I'd like to meet someone with similar interests who is open to a long distance relationship. Not in any hurry, just want to build a strong foundation with the right person. I love going to Ole Miss football games and tailgating in The Grove. I can enjoy activities like that with someone without the pressures of pursuing a serious relationship. I'm all about enjoying life and having a good time.If things click great, if they don't we can still have a good time.
41, Jackson, MSI try to live out my Catholic faith in my daily life and believe that my faith is the greatest gift I have. I desire marriage and motherhood and believe that being a wife and a mother would be an ideal way to follow Christ's example of sacrificial love. Given that, I am also at peace with being single if marriage is not in the Lord's plan for me. In my mid-twenties I spent a year doing missionary work with a Catholic organization in Mexico, and I still have an attraction to that kind of work and that kind of simple lifestyle. I spent my late twenties and early thirties discerning a possible religious vocation. Having discerned that religious life is not my calling, I'm here hoping to meet a great Catholic guy. Unfortunately, Mississippi is only 3% Catholic, so maybe the guy I'm looking for is also on Catholic Match looking for me too :o) I've read a good bit of Pope John Paul II's Theology of the Body and I find the teachings to be very beautiful. I hope to be able to share and live these teachings with my future husband. I also seek to live out any potential dating relationship in a chaste way, and am looking for a guy who desires the same. I have a dry, witty, and self-deprecating sense of humor, as well as a tendency to name my inanimate possessions. I love the experience of a good thunderstorm, and on the flip side the sound of silence on a still night. I enjoy following politics, and particularly like watching political debates. I enjoy listening to music from the 40s through the 80s (except the 70s...for some reason, I just don't like 70's music). I love traveling and seeing new places, and in my spare time I just like to drive around with no particular destination in mind. I like cooking and baking too, and particularly enjoy making things from scratch (like cookies!). There's a lot more I can say, so feel free to send me a message.
50, Vicksburg, MS"...Make music in your hearts to the Lord" (Ephesians 5:19) The most valuable things in my life are my relationships: with God, family, and friends. I believe that the keys to a successful marriage are putting Christ first in everything, good communication, and having a good sense of humor. I hope to have a marriage in which we challenge each other to grow in our faith, and serve the Lord together. People describe me as a good listener, a good communicator, patient, hard-working, calm, open-minded, and conservative. I believe in praying before every meal, and I love to pray the Rosary. I believe in hard work, but I also know when it is time to take a break and have fun. I hope to meet someone who enjoys good conversation, especially about theology, and moral/social issues. I enjoy travelling to places where I can see God's awesome creation---especially mountains. I enjoy the outdoors, appreciate the arts, enjoy singing/cantoring in my church choir, exercising, watching football, spending time with family and friends, and volunteering. I love the sound of a Steinway grand piano. I work in healthcare---I am a physical therapist, and I enjoy encouraging and educating my patients in wellness, exercise, and nutrition. I have a passion for music----I love to sing/cantor in my church choir. I believe in attending Mass every Sunday. My Christian walk is centered around the Holy Eucharist. I love to laugh. I know how to laugh at myself. I enjoy making others laugh. Life is too short to live stressed out all the time. Sometimes we have the most fun just by being young at heart and enjoying the simple things like shooting a few hoops, throwing the football, taking a walk in the park, or building a snowman together. It is truly the simple things in life that bring us the most joy and are the most meaningful. I believe that God is relevant in every moment of life, and that we should look for God in every situation, good or bad. I would be grateful to meet a sweet, virtuous woman of God, who loves to smile, is young at heart, who loves Sunday Mass, and wants to grow in her faith. I respect a woman who stays physically fit, and believes in good nutrition, who realizes that her body belongs to God and is God's temple (1 Corinthians 6:19). I'm looking for a special woman who I feel at home with. I pray for my future wife every day. I want to love my future wife as Christ loved the Church and gave Himself up for her. (Ephesians) God bless you all in your search!

I joke that I'm an introvert trapped inside the body of an extrovert :)) Need someone fun and outgoing and has-the-world-by-the-tail kinda guy. Busy, active, can-do type (a gentle type A might describe you) -- a dynamic Catholic with his eyes on eternity. If any of the above sounds like you, give me a shout. I won't bite, promise :)

53, Natchez, MSI like to hunt and fish. Like spending time with family and friends. I enjoy cooking on the grill. Would like to do more traveling in near future. I am new to the Catholic Church.
64, Pearl, MSthe only way someone can get to know me is to meet me, talk to me and spend lots of time together with me. i plan to make plenty of time for this to happen. i am a born again protestant, my childhood was catholic till the third grade. i do expect to have equal attendance between my wife and my self (provided i find someone to marry), at church. i do attend chruch more than once a week, and i am taking ministry classes at my church. how far that goes into the ministry remains to be seen. i have dated women from many different backgrounds and so i feel like i can handle this one too. I grew up in New Orleans, which is very catholic in culture, so it will be easier to get along with me than you think. i dont fight with folks over very much, i passionately hate conflict, so i avoid it. however, given no choice i will defend my self to the best of my ability. i don't think of my self as a pacifist, but i am well able to keep my mouth shut when any other behavior is counter productive, live to enjoy another day i say!
