31, Liberty, MOI'm a laid back person who enjoys the calm and quiet, but always up for a new adventure. I love exploring and learning new things. I love to sit back and read a good book (when I have the time!) I love music; there is not a moment in the day that I don't have a song stuck in my head and I love going to concerts. I love those random silly moments in life, like jamming out to an awesome song in the car or laughing hysterically for no reason. I strive everyday to become a better person.
29, Plattsburg, MOTo describe myself I would say I'm a little bit of everything. I'm introverted, but also extroverted. I can manage with either. I think I'm funny. (That's what counts, right? :) Love watching movies. Love camping although it's been awhile. If you can tell me what a dutch oven really is then you are really smart because everyone's first thought is farting under the blanket..... No. Anyway, I'm creative and would like to put my creativity to use one day whether it be building furniture or designing my future house. Warning! Although agreeing with the Church whole heartedly, I am not the rigid in your face Catholic. Being Catholic is a lifestyle, not a war banner. I'm not perfect, by no means, by no means. I live life. Yes, I want to become holier, but I want it to be by my choosing. I don't want to be set up on a faith workout plan. Never was good with it and was one of the reasons I left FOCUS. FOCUS was a good organization, but after discovering a lot about myself I decided it was not for me. Took God beating my head up against the wall, but eventually I got the message. So, in a sense through all of that FOCUS helped me discover what my faith really meant to me. I just want to love people and help others do the same. Okay, that went a little more in depth than I planned, but now you know a bit more about me which is the point. Now a little bit about what I want to do in the near future. Pay off student loans. Go to Ireland!! Get a hobby! Find friends to hang out with on a regular basis. Get in shape! Hopefully look into body building. Live life and not worry about where I'm at and where I'm not!! It wastes too much time. Find a girl. Who would have thought? ;)
31, Kansas City, MOI love to write fiction - it's a way to be creative, a way to get my thoughts out on paper, and a change from my day-to-day activities. Someday, I'd like to publish a novel, but that's still quite a ways off. Secondly, I love to travel and try new things. I've been to places like Paris, Florence, Rome, London, but I've equally enjoyed Chicago, Denver, New York City, and many other cities closer to home. There's something about seeing the sights, visiting museums, going to sporting events, and exploring things off the beaten path that's refreshing. Finally (for now!), you should know that my family and friends are very important to me. I will travel hours to see them just for a weekend. As far as me personally, I am a warm, laid back person who doesn't need everything scheduled for the day. Though, I'm not opposed to planning things out. Although I love visiting museums, I prefer to eat out at more relaxed places where jeans are the dress code. My brand of humor tends to be drier, and I love comedies like 30 Rock and The Office. I'm also great at one-liner jokes, though I'll be the first to admit I need to work more on long, humorous stories. I enjoy being independent, but I still appreciate when doors are held open for me. In general, I try to have a positive attitude, though we all have bad days. Since I grew up an only child, I know how to entertain myself.
27, Kansas City, MOHello. My name is Mitch. Just moved to Kansas City last month and looking to meet a few people in the area. Enjoy being active running and biking as well as following sporting events such as Iowa State basketball and the Kansas City Royals. If you have any questions please ask.
34, Independence, MOI am pretty much an open book. I like to think of myself as an honest person both with myself and others. My biggest passion is in sports, especially baseball. I played college baseball and it was one of the greatest experiences of my life! I fell away from the church for a number of years while in college and for a while thereafter, but returned to the church about five years ago and it is now a big part of my life. Family is very important to me as well and hope to find a woman who may be the right fit for me eventually.
30, KCMO, MOI'm a comedic writer in my spare time, and was recently a member of a comedy improv troupe. I work a regular 9 to 5 job, however beginning next year I will be following a lifelong dream and starting school to become an elementary school teacher. In my free time I'm a full time foodie, and I love going around town and discovering new and exciting places, finding those hole-in-the-wall restaurants' that have great ethnic food. But I'll never turn down a good old-fashioned hamburger or hotdog. I'm the type of person that loves to go to a bookstore and follow it up with a trip to The Nelson Atkins Art Museum. I also love going to see the latest sci-fi, or comic book blockbuster that has come out. I love to take random spur of the moment road trips. Just hop in the car, pick a direction, and drive! Or just touring my own city and finding new and unique places. You will also often find me quoting from Star Wars, or Mel Brooks movies. I'm a proud geek, and not afraid to show it.
26, Platte City, MOI am trying this site because I would like to find someone who's values matched my own. I currently work for a bank and love every day of it. I try to always have a positive outlook on things,so far it has worked in my job. On a day off I will be found at River market picking up food for whatever is on my menu that week. I am no master chef but I can make a mean lasagna. I also run 5ks and hope to run my first half marathon in 2018.
27, KCMO, MOGreetings, and happy beginnings! I am passionate about my friends and family, and particularly enjoy spending time with them whenever I can. I also enjoy living my faith through teaching at a Catholic elementary school. I love to share my faith with my students, helping them to learn and grow, not only in wisdom, but also in God's grace and mercy. My Catholic faith is at the core of my life, and I try to use it as the background in all my decision-making. I am looking forward to doing the next right thing, praying for the Holy Spirit's guidance in my life. The most influential experiences of my life have often come from people. Whether that be my coworkers at school, fellow coaches, college students whom I mentored, my elementary school students, or members of my immediate and extended family, I gather the most meaning from the people that comprise the experiences that are part of my life. I enjoy running, playing volleyball, reading, and spending time with family/friends in my leisure time. I'm always ready for just about any kind of athletic event, from little league games to professional sports. I also really enjoy attending daily Mass whenever my schedule allows.
26, Saint Joseph, MOHi, my name is Steven. I am 25. Never done the online dating thing but thought I would give it a shot. I work full time for a rural ambulance service as an EMT. I also am on the volunteer fire department and have been for 10 years. I am passionate about helping people in any way I can. My career allows me to do that on a daily basis which is why I enjoy what I do. Public service runs in my family and is all I have really ever known. My parents are the most influential people in my life. No matter what goes on in my life they are always there to help lift me up when I am down or cheer me on when I have accomplished a life goal. In my free time I am often doing things with mom and dad as well as my younger three siblings.
24, Smithville, MOWhen I was little, like 3 or 4 years old, I was making pancakes with my grandma, and she put me in charge of stirring the batter. She gave me one of those hand-crank mixers and put the batter in a glass bowl...bad combo. Before I knew what happened, I had stirred the batter right off the counter, all over me, and onto the floor breaking Meema's favorite glass bowl. Then my aunt Jennifer came upstairs, not because she smelled a delicious breakfast, but because she had pancake batter dripping on her face through the floor!! I was mortified. Since that day, I have gotten much better at making pancakes. I actually made a pancake that looked like the Sacred Heart of Jesus one time! I feel like that first experience of making pancakes with Meema has shaped me in more ways than just my cooking skills. My grandma let me try it again and again, and eventually I learned how to make Mickey Mouse shaped pancakes. But even more importantly, before we ate those perfect pancakes, we would pray together. Meema would always end our prayers with this prayer, "Most Sacred Heart of Jesus, we place our trust in Thee." Meema helped me to realize that my first identity is a beloved daughter of God. She is the main reason I have stayed strong in my faith and why I have a deep devotion to the Sacred Heart of Jesus. I really look up to my Meema. I pray I inherit at least part of her strength, her devotion, her love of family and her pancaking skills! She also raised 8 kids in a Catholic home...goals.
30, KCMO, MOHi there. I'm here because I love our Catholic faith and want to find someone with similar values. I'm very passionate about the things I pursue in life. Of course my greatest pursuit in life is glorifying God. I love being creative and even though it is part of my job everyday as a designer, I have lots of personal projects I'm constantly working on as well. I sit at a computer most days so I have to get out and do something physical or explore after work. Every week typically involves some combination of swimming, climbing, boxing, shooting, and weight training. I've never been bored once in my entire life. There is just never enough time in in the day to experience all the things we want to!
25, Lee's Summit, MOHi my name is Kaitlin. I am a 25 year old living in the metro. I am a good blend of a free spirit, hippie and a routined rule-follower. I am a social worker and work for an area non-profit serving KCs moms and babies in need. I value helping others and find myself drawn to social justice causes. I have never been married and do not have any kids but I have a dog who thinks she is my child. I like going out on walks, to the movies, to museums, and hanging out with friends. At the same time, I am a home body and enjoy staying at home and watching Netflix or working on a project just as much. I value being a life long learner and think it is important to be intentional about bettering yourself. I grew up in the Baptist church but currently attend a mixture of Episcopal and Catholic Church.
