56, Blue Springs, MOIm a genuine, straightforward person looking for a long term relationship built on honesty, respect, and mutual attraction. Im looking forward to getting to know that person, especially learning what experiences made that person who they are. I do know for sure that the family relationships and friendships I have built over the years have made my life rich with pleasant memories and many funny adventures. At the top of my list of favorite things to do are appreciating nature, which could include a simple walk around the neighborhood or going on road trips to anywhere. I also enjoy music of all kinds especially if it is live. In winter I love to see movies and curl up with a good book and if its not too cold outside-- a walk in the woods. I feel very fortunate to have a job that I enjoy and find meaningful (most of the time). Kansas City history has peaked my interest in learning about the people that came before us. Love to look through old photos in antique stores, especially families and their dogs.
37, Kansas City, MOI'm not sure I'm completely comfortable with online "dating" but it seems to be a very common way to meet someone now so I figured I'd try it out. So about me...I'm not big on talking about myself, but here it goes. I'm from a small town originally, moved to KC after college, never expected to be here more than a year, and before I knew it I had been here 10 years already. I've kept busy with work, and I like to stay active in sports. I've been in leagues for basketball, softball, flag football, sand/court volleyball, and kickball and enjoy other activities such as weight lifting, running, biking, golf and disc golf. Ive also coached basketball at a local Catholic school for the last 2 years. I'm really into music and discovering new bands to listen to or concerts to go to. However, I do not know how to play any instruments (aside from beating on my steering wheel) even though both my brothers and my dad are very musically talented. I don't date very often. People say I'm too picky but I don't think that's the case. I don't always know how to describe what I'm looking for but I can fairly easily point out things I'm not looking for or not interested in. I don't feel the need to date just to date and don't believe in wasting her time or mine if I don't feel anything. I'm hopeful to find someone worthwhile. To me that means "intriguing" - physically, mentally, morally, socially. I feel that physical attraction is important along with compatibility in regards to intelligence, kindness, tolerance and ambition.
50, Kansas City, MOI am honest and respectful. Easy to get along with. Family oriented. Believe children should come first (though I don't have any), I volunteer when I can. I am passionate about my job and things in my life. I have a good sense of humor and I like having a good time. Even though I'm laid back and down to earth, I can be outgoing. I enjoy doing both indoor and outdoor activities. I'm looking for someone who likes having fun and also has a great sense of humor. I'm interested in someone that's outgoing and happy with life. I'm satisfied with the simple things in life. I am looking for a person who is honest and real. I appreciate a person who is open to trying new foods, new places and new topics of conversation. I am looking for someone who rarely loses their temper. I want to meet my best friend and the love of my life. Treat me with respect and I will do the same in return. I'm looking for honesty, loyalty, intelligence, beauty and good common sense. I want someone who will treat me as a priority and not as an option. I am looking for the ability to communicate like best friends, while staying positive, cracking jokes, and being considerate for each other. So if you're interested drop me a message, I'm very easy to talk with.
23, Kansas City, MOHi there! I enjoy sword fighting, reading books, taking long walks, hiking, discussing literature (everything from Beowulf to Bronte to Chesterton), travelling, and ballroom dancing (mostly East Coast Swing and Waltz) and doing pro-life work. I graduated from Benedictine College with a B.A. in English Literature in May 2015. I've been very involved in pro-life work for several years and after college started a job as a counselor at a pregnancy clinic. I coordinated Benedictine College's trip to the March For Life for two years and loved it! I'm a cradle Catholic, and an only child, though I would love to marry someone with siblings. I'd like to participate more in sports and outdoor activities than I do, but unfortunately I have a couple old injuries that limit my ability to do so- looking into options to help with that, in the meantime I'm offering it up to work off some Purgatory time. Despite this long description I'm actually an introvert and can be pretty quiet day-to-day, though I certainly have my crazier moments :) I'm a melancholic-Choleric and an INFJ if you are into temperaments- basically I have an strong personality and a deep interior life.
27, Kansas City, MOTired of living the same day over and over? Me too! I'm ready to see new places, try new things, and meet new people. Although I love living in the midwest because my family is here, I am truly a beach bum! When I'm not spending my time number crunching for my job in finance, you can find me trying new things. Some of my favorite adventures have been skydiving, riding ATV's in Utah, eating cajun food in Indianapolis, hiking in Duluth Minnesota, and hitting the lakes around Missouri. As you may have guessed traveling is my absolute favorite activity, stick with me and you never know where we will end up! When I'm not traveling you can find me hiking, biking, and walking when the weather is nice! I was blessed to have parents who have a boat so I do all types of water sports! The lake and the ocean are my happy places! I also love working out. Someday I hope to be one of those parents doing 5k fun runs with their mini me (aka our future children)! Really hope my future husband is as willing to push me in the gym as hard as he pushes me to grow my faith! I'm easy going and always open to trying new things. I am not a huge sports geek but enjoy going to a few games a year. Recently I've become addicted to board games and have been hosting a lot of board game night's perhaps you will be at the next one!
55, Kansas City, MOI am looking forward to building a future with a special person. Looking for someone that wants to create a future together. I am a single dad with a high school junior still at home but she is growing up fast looking a colleges and her time to leave will be coming soon. When I am not working I enjoy doing many different things, from the Zoo to looking for antiques, going to movies, Renfest, Comicon or any of the sights in the KC area and beyond. I have traveled most of the country for work and would like to do it again, just slower and to see what all is out there. And as a side note, I never liked filling this stuff out. It can change, ask and I will tell. I am pretty open.
58, Kansas City, MOLove my life! Love my kids! Love my work! Love my friends! Love my home! Those are my life's passions. If this sounds interesting to you, reach out and contact me. :)
25, Smithville, MOWhen I was little, like 3 or 4 years old, I was making pancakes with my grandma, and she put me in charge of stirring the batter. She gave me one of those hand-crank mixers and put the batter in a glass bowl...bad combo. Before I knew what happened, I had stirred the batter right off the counter, all over me, and onto the floor breaking Meema's favorite glass bowl. Then my aunt Jennifer came upstairs, not because she smelled a delicious breakfast, but because she had pancake batter dripping on her face through the floor!! I was mortified. Since that day, I have gotten much better at making pancakes. I actually made a pancake that looked like the Sacred Heart of Jesus one time! I feel like that first experience of making pancakes with Meema has shaped me in more ways than just my cooking skills. My grandma let me try it again and again, and eventually I learned how to make Mickey Mouse shaped pancakes. But even more importantly, before we ate those perfect pancakes, we would pray together. Meema would always end our prayers with this prayer, "Most Sacred Heart of Jesus, we place our trust in Thee." Meema helped me to realize that my first identity is a beloved daughter of God. She is the main reason I have stayed strong in my faith and why I have a deep devotion to the Sacred Heart of Jesus. I really look up to my Meema. I pray I inherit at least part of her strength, her devotion, her love of family and her pancaking skills! She also raised 8 kids in a Catholic home...goals.
48, Independence, MOHi. I'm new to this. I have 4 children who are my priority and I'm a busy working mom, but I would like to meet someone who I could have a relationship with--someone who shares my faith and attends Mass with me. I have a job that I enjoy, but between it and the kids, I have little free time. I dream about traveling someday when I have the time. I had the opportunity a few years ago to visit my daughter while she was studying in Spain and we really enjoyed spending a week touring the country. I was also able to visit Italy some years ago and I absolutely loved seeing all of the churches and the Vatican. I am divorced (with an annulment) and I choose to look upon my marriage with feelings of happiness for my gifts of 4 children and the extra family I received when we married. In my leisure time, I enjoy watching and going to baseball games (Go Royals!), watching tv, reading, going to Starlight Theater or the movies, and baking.
67, Saint Joseph, MOI love being Catholic and I enjoy life with all its challenges and gifts! There isn't much I don't enjoy, but I've never really mastered anything. I play at golf, walk regularly, ride my bike along the river, love watching sports, just finished a trip to Italy, work for a law firm when they need me, and volunteer at the local hospital. I enjoy music and theatre so I help out at the Historic Missouri Theatre with events. I have a cat (or she has me) and some afternoons we just sit on the porch and read and nap. I'd love to walk the Camino de Santiago, but instead I hope to do a driving pilgrimage of the Missions along the California coast. I'm a pretty regular gal I think. Not very sophisticated but willing to try new things. I plan to take a line dancing class next week...I'll find out if I have two left feet.
63, Liberty, MOIm a caring loving widow looking for companionship. I love spending time with my family, watching the chiefs play, and traveling. I just recently moved to the kansas city area after spending the last 40 years on a beautiful farm in southern missouri. Some of my other hobbies include gardening and im always up for fishing.
29, Kansas City, MOI love God, travel, outdoors, fishing, art, shopping, naps, hunting, reading, family, friends, and antiques. I am looking for a serious relationship with somebody who does also. Im very driven and hard working. I believe in a traditional view of society and think America is in decline in many ways. I don't like lazy or irresponsible people. I make 50 too 100k a year. I was raised half the time in public school the other half in catholic. My favorite saint is padre pio he dedicated his life to God as a young child. He is credited with healing miracles and had the stigmata. I am looking for a decent intelligent woman who is fairly intelligent responsible and hardworking too. Relationships are about compromise not one controlling the other with absolute dictates in my view. I don't want someone who has an out of wedlock baby or has a past of hard drug usage. If you or a widow or divorcee I won't hold that against you. Also I want someone I can have go to church with me and won't complain about it.
