What I enjoy the most outdoors is canoing and kayaking even whitewater kayaking. I love finding a new river and then planning it for a small group expedition. Seeking out natural wonders is also an adventure. Nature reflects so much of God's nature and its fun too! I desire to camp and cook better in the outdoors as with a dutch oven. I grew up in a rural area with deep roots but I live in a small city now. I love the church but feel the importance of lay people participating in the church. I am in a graduate pastoral ministry program until 2017 but I love it except for the writing of papers! Also love old and new movies with friends.

I like to think of myself as a bright, witty guy with a big heart. I'm honest, loyal, and introspective. I haven't filled one of these out in quite a while, so I'll have to come up with something hilarious and intriguing and update it later. I have a quick wit so check back soon!

I'm wanting to make some friends with the possibility of a marriage. My relationship with God and His will for my life is the most important thing to me. I enjoy family, going to the beach, eating out, quite evenings, having a glass of wine and relaxing, treveling and meeting new people and being with my friends. My friends tell me I have a friendly disposition, good sense of humor and am pretty cute. I hope they are right! I love to meet new people wherever I am. I'm a good listener and can be a serious thinker as well. I love life and my faith is strong. In fact, my faith truly is what i want to define me. I was not blessed with children but love big families and always wanted to be a part of one. I see the potential and good in all people and desire to be an expression of God's love to them. I believe kindness and hope are the two most important virtues we can share with others. I have a medical issue that can sometimes effect me. If you are interested, just ask.

I am a professional driver. I have been alone all of my life and now I look for someone to share my life with. Catholic Match is the first time I've tried anything like this. Please forgive me if my profile is a little thin it is a constant work in progress. Please feel free to ask me anything you're curious about. In personality I tend to be very quiet and reserved at first. I warm up quickly though when in the presence of someone with compatible interests or whose interests I want to learn more about. I am willing to talk and learn about almost any subject. I am certainly eager to communicate with anyone who wants too even if the interest is just friendly. I am solidly conservative socially and politically as well as to the teachings of the Church. I do however keep an open mind too the views of those who have doubts or disagreements and think this can often be a fruitful discussion. I am slow to anger or take offence at anything and I tend to forgive easily. If you are viewing my profile please send me a message or respond to mine if I have sent you one. Tell me what you think. Positive or negative I am always looking for honest feedback and I would also be interested in simple friendship if romance is not an option.

Blessed day! I love children, and by God's grace I am motivated to be of service to those who also love children. We all have a responsibility to be an example to those who are now children, as they become the adults of the next generation, and will make the world what it is to become. I thank our Lord for creating paternity and maternity, holy. If we strive to be faithfully obedient to the way He created us, and seek reconciliation where we err, then we will not be ashamed to express the love of God with one another, and family life can then be a functional reality that truly works in every day life! If it be God's will, I soberly am ready to suffer ridicule and persecution for standing by my husband as he protects his children from mental and physical torture by ungodly doctors, school authorities, world's religious leaders, military, insurance companies, social workers, etc. Jesus suffered the same for healing and saving us from those who held power by mercilessly using up the bodies and souls of men. All who live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution, but blessed are ye. Jesus says, "My Kingdom is not of this world." I strive to know and do God's will, for it's the only way we are content here on earth and are worthy to enjoy eternity with Him. I do not live for the moment at the expense of others, but rather honor the words, "You are God's building... let every one look how he buildeth thereon... the work of every one shall be manifest... know you not that your members are the temple of the Holy Spirit which is in you...?" I Cor. 3:9-17. For contentment, it is necessary to live around people who are not quick to justify themselves but rather find it natural and easy to say, I'm sorry. I am patient in having little, trusting our Lord for sustenance, while working to make life better. I am understanding and patient of human frailty; I also am human. But we cannot selfishly violate one another's conscience and make one another atone for our personal sins for that is what destroys friendships, creates hostility and can lead to violence. Open communication with friends is a selfless, beautiful way to live . Health is important to me. I honor the early Christian physician, St. Luke and the countless others like him who devoted their lives to the study of anatomy and herbal treatment of maladies. We still use the Latin botanical names that they gave these plants.

I have never done anything like this before, but I would really like to meet someone with similar thoughts, values, and beliefs, in the hopes that we could be a blessing to each other. So I go forward with faith, hope, and a little trepidation. I was raised in a big Catholic family. I have five brothers, and I am the only girl. I have a close relationship with my family and enjoy spending time with them. They mostly live in Southeast Kansas, and I see them quite often. I have one daughter and two granddaughters, who live in Austin, Texas. We communicate often, but I only get to see them a couple times a year. I love kids. I am a court reporter and have been for 30-some years. I'm a hard worker and always have been but am looking forward to slowing down a little in the coming years. I love sports and played USVBA volleyball well into my 40s. I go to the gym weekly and am getting into yoga. I was an avid bike rider for many years and would like to take it back up. I walk my dog every day, love to garden and be outside. Looking for furniture to refurbish is another one of my hobbies. There are many places on my travel bucket list but am also pretty happy at home. I am divorced but have obtained an annulment. My Catholic religion is very important to me, and I think it would be so wonderful to be in a relationship with someone that I could go to church with and share my faith with.

If you hear laughter just a tiny bit louder in a crowded cafe, that might just be me and my 'Near and Dears.' My friends swear they love me beause I am funny, loyal, and quick to offer help if needed. You will find me at home, at church or with friends who also love life. Am passionate about my faith and far-flung family. Love my Parish and its opportunities for participation and spiritual growth. The two ways I assist are being a Eucharistic Minister and Lector. You will find in me a person who sees the glass half full, is comfortable in her own skin, and has a variety of interests. Am active in animal rescue, with two of my three pups counting as such. Spent most of my career in marketing and public relations for healthcare, politics, executive education, business, and specific causes- many for Fortune 500 companies. Am comfortable on a loading dock or a board room. Am looking forward to traveling this path to see where it may lead.
