I like to think of myself as a bright, witty guy with a big heart. I'm honest, loyal, and introspective. I haven't filled one of these out in quite a while, so I'll have to come up with something hilarious and intriguing and update it later. I have a quick wit so check back soon!

This is hard to do well here it goes I attend mass about every Saturday just moved down to Joplin ( to help out my folks) I love to do about anything outdoors in the summer I'm out as much as I can either playing golf or what ever I can do. I act younger than my age laugh alot at myself sometimes but I can be the serious type when I have to be. I am involved in the church a lot with Knights of Columbus, men's club and volunteering to usher and what else comes up it seems. I am looking for the right woman to spend the rest of my life with she has to be funny, likes the outdoors, likes to walk or ride a bike but most important is just be herself and have confidence in herself. I don't want to play games just to old to do that I'm just waiting on the right woman to take the leap with.

I am part of a strong Catholic family. Family and friends are extremely important to me and I will do anything for them. I enjoy speding time with people, whether it be just hanging out or going out to eat or the moives or playing games. I am a huge sports fan, I love baseball especially St. Louis Cardinals. I'm also a self proclaimed "nerd". I love movies and television. I just recently visited San Diego during Comic-Con and had an absolute blast! My undergrad degree is in Sports Management, so being around sports and talking sports is a big part of what my future is going to be. I currently work in Sales operations for a software company.

I spent many years of my life considering the possibility of ordained priesthood. As a teenager, I saw firsthand the good that priests can do in the lives of so many. I was very attracted to priesthood and thought that the life might be for me. I began the discernment process myself in my late teens and eventually went to the seminary at age 20. I would eventually spend a total of 7 1/2 yrs in the seminary, coming within a year of ordination. I treasure the education , experiences, and formation that seminary offered and the relationships that were formed. Most of those seminary years for me were when I was a young man. I decided not to go on for ordination when I was 29. I worked a few different jobs, then eventually obtained an education degree and became a theology teacher in a Catholic high school. A few years ago, I returned for one year to the seminary to have one more look at the life. Again, I decided against it. While priesthood will always remain attractive, I have concluded that the life simply is not for me. What I most want to do is to meet a woman with whom I can form a very good relationship and friendship with and then eventually enter into marriage with her. I trust the decision because when it comes to major life choices, I believe that God simply wants us to carefully consider the viable options for ourselves, then make a choice and make it work for ourselves. The most foundational belief that I embrace is that the Universe, and all within it, has existence because a Creator, namely God, willed that it should be. Therefore, all is gift. This foundational belief shapes how I understand and go about life. My basic stance in life is one of gratitude to God--gratitude for the opportunity to live as a human and be around so many fine people. I believe that God wants us to treat others well--the premier model is Jesus as presented in canonical Gospels. Forgiveness, mercy, compassion, understanding, a gentle spirit, firmness only when necessary and helpful, and healing are the qualities that greatly promote harmony and wholesome living. I try to live these when relating with others. "Try" is the key word in that preceding statement! I take care of my body by walking, biking, playing golf, & lifting weights. I feel good and am in a good mood almost always. I like to do a lot of manual labor in the yard and around the house. Cleaning and maintaining the house, yard, vehicles, bikes, & power equipment are things I enjoy doing.

I'm passionate about starting a Catholic family. I look forward to meeting a lady who is also passionate about this. I work long days but affords me longer days off and vacation time so I could travel anywhere to meet the right person.

I am a widow of several years and it would be enjoyable to meet someone to participate in activities together. I find most things fun whether they are active or leisurely. My dogs are important to me and I volunteer at area hospitals and schools with them. I also like to kayak. I swim (poorly) 2-3 times a week and play volleyball once a week. Watching some sporting events is also something enjoyable. Occasionally I go bowling with single friends. (I'm terrible but who cares?) I was on the golf team in high school but haven't played in awhile.I like going to plays and musicals and attend several symphony concerts each year.

Without Christ, I'm nothing. I am "passionate about" becoming a Saint, devoting to Mother Mary like Baby Jesus (Consecrate to Jesus Christ our Lord through Mother Mary) and drawing people to Christ. Put Christ first above all and everything else will fall in place. Through Christ, everything is fruitful and meaningful with my whole being. Jesus Christ is the Truth and the only Way. So help me God. Please feel free if you have anything. Thanks. In Christ.

Growing up my Grandpa was devout and a huge influence on me. My mom went to mass again and to Reconciliation for the first time in years when I started going to RCIA. I try to inspire people to find their talents and keep growing in all of life. I am well meaning, but I've learned that I have a tendency to be naive. My best practice is to surround myself with people who are wiser than I am and who have my best interests at heart. I have been known to romanticize toxic situations to my own detriment. Going from being home schooled and overly sheltered to an every day functioning member of the community and the work force was nothing less than a culture shock. I have "reinvented" myself more than once on this journey and I am probably not done yet. I remain true to my core but I learn and grow through my experiences. I am extremely resilient and my strongest trait is that of loyalty to all sacred relationships.

Hey! I'm Emily and Catholic Match is one of those things I said "never, ever . . ." about ;) But hey, why not. I love the Faith and I am so grateful for life in general. I look forward to time spent with loved ones, taking on new challenges, and being able to look back and see where I have come. Oh, but one thing about the challenge thing . . . sometimes they are humiliating. But, they are still good. On the lighter side: The outdoors have always been a part of my life. However, I am also always freezing to death and have been known to wear four layers of clothing at one time. I'm an electronic media production major so I deal with videos, photos, editing, audio, etc. College is great but I live for graduation. I spent three semesters at a Catholic liberal arts college after high school. My educational history is somewhat bizarre and colorful. I like to think is has prepared me well for life in the 21st century. I am the oldest of six. In former days I thought that this was the most graced place in the universe. Now I realize that it would have been really nice to have been one of the middle children sitting back and taking notes on how not to do life. Oh well. Live and learn, right? I love coffee but I equally love hikes and bike rides.

Building a solid foundation for a family has been my focus for some time now and at this point I leave the rest up to The Good Lord! Life does have its choices and that's why I am on this site. But I trust the guidance of God to lead me on the path I have chosen. Hope to meet a future Mrs. Along the way!
