I like to think of myself as a bright, witty guy with a big heart. I'm honest, loyal, and introspective. I haven't filled one of these out in quite a while, so I'll have to come up with something hilarious and intriguing and update it later. I have a quick wit so check back soon!

This is hard to do well here it goes I attend mass about every Saturday just moved down to Joplin ( to help out my folks) I love to do about anything outdoors in the summer I'm out as much as I can either playing golf or what ever I can do. I act younger than my age laugh alot at myself sometimes but I can be the serious type when I have to be. I am involved in the church a lot with Knights of Columbus, men's club and volunteering to usher and what else comes up it seems. I am looking for the right woman to spend the rest of my life with she has to be funny, likes the outdoors, likes to walk or ride a bike but most important is just be herself and have confidence in herself. I don't want to play games just to old to do that I'm just waiting on the right woman to take the leap with.

I'm wanting to make some friends with the possibility of a marriage. My relationship with God and His will for my life is the most important thing to me. I enjoy family, going to the beach, eating out, quite evenings, having a glass of wine and relaxing, treveling and meeting new people and being with my friends. My friends tell me I have a friendly disposition, good sense of humor and am pretty cute. I hope they are right! I love to meet new people wherever I am. I'm a good listener and can be a serious thinker as well. I love life and my faith is strong. In fact, my faith truly is what i want to define me. I was not blessed with children but love big families and always wanted to be a part of one. I see the potential and good in all people and desire to be an expression of God's love to them. I believe kindness and hope are the two most important virtues we can share with others. I have a medical issue that can sometimes effect me. If you are interested, just ask.

I spent many years of my life considering the possibility of ordained priesthood. As a teenager, I saw firsthand the good that priests can do in the lives of so many. I was very attracted to priesthood and thought that the life might be for me. I began the discernment process myself in my late teens and eventually went to the seminary at age 20. I would eventually spend a total of 7 1/2 yrs in the seminary, coming within a year of ordination. I treasure the education , experiences, and formation that seminary offered and the relationships that were formed. Most of those seminary years for me were when I was a young man. I decided not to go on for ordination when I was 29. I worked a few different jobs, then eventually obtained an education degree and became a theology teacher in a Catholic high school. A few years ago, I returned for one year to the seminary to have one more look at the life. Again, I decided against it. While priesthood will always remain attractive, I have concluded that the life simply is not for me. What I most want to do is to meet a woman with whom I can form a very good relationship and friendship with and then eventually enter into marriage with her. I trust the decision because when it comes to major life choices, I believe that God simply wants us to carefully consider the viable options for ourselves, then make a choice and make it work for ourselves. The most foundational belief that I embrace is that the Universe, and all within it, has existence because a Creator, namely God, willed that it should be. Therefore, all is gift. This foundational belief shapes how I understand and go about life. My basic stance in life is one of gratitude to God--gratitude for the opportunity to live as a human and be around so many fine people. I believe that God wants us to treat others well--the premier model is Jesus as presented in canonical Gospels. Forgiveness, mercy, compassion, understanding, a gentle spirit, firmness only when necessary and helpful, and healing are the qualities that greatly promote harmony and wholesome living. I try to live these when relating with others. "Try" is the key word in that preceding statement! I take care of my body by walking, biking, playing golf, & lifting weights. I feel good and am in a good mood almost always. I like to do a lot of manual labor in the yard and around the house. Cleaning and maintaining the house, yard, vehicles, bikes, & power equipment are things I enjoy doing.

I'm an attractive, kind, classy, educated, professional and independent woman. I am looking forward to retiring within the next five years from a career that has been both interesting and rewarding. I enjoy meeting new people, travel, and other activities that are fun but that also introduce me to different experiences and ideas than I've encountered previously. I enjoy being outdoors in my garden and on walks but prefer to return to the comforts of home or a nice hotel in the evenings. I love animals and the arts. Mostly I enjoy good conversation over good food and wine!

Hi! Looking for a nice guy to meet, become friends, establish a relationship with the intent to see if we would be a good fit for the sacrament of marriage. I'm a convert and hope I get to tell you about my journey some time. Interests/Likes include: learning about Jesus, time with family and friends, volunteering, learning about different cultures, art, pop culture (movies, television, music, Facebook) I've cut back drastically on those the last couple of years. Try to avoid R-rated items. I can laugh at life and myself, the guy for me should be the same (Sarcasm is a service I provide at no charge!). I enjoy camping, fishing, and baseball but am in no means a fanatic and only get to do those things occasionally.

Building a solid foundation for a family has been my focus for some time now and at this point I leave the rest up to The Good Lord! Life does have its choices and that's why I am on this site. But I trust the guidance of God to lead me on the path I have chosen. Hope to meet a future Mrs. Along the way!

I am a kind, caring, energetic lady. My family and friends are very important to me. I do not have children but love spending time with my niece, nephews and friends' kids. I am open to a partner who has children. I love dogs especially my rescue Australian Cattle Dog. She is full of energy and keeps me hopping. I work as a Registered Dietitian in a healthcare setting. I enjoy biking, sports, going to the lake, live music, travel, cooking, wine, movies and just having fun in general. I am looking for a man who can make me laugh, who is family oriented and who loves life.

The highlight of my week is my Mass attendance. The week just doesn't go right without having that empowerment from the graces gained from the attendance and reception of the Eucharist. I am very social, though am particular with whom I will engage in conversation. I observe interactions of others to determine how they speak and treat others before deciding to engage in conversation with someone. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, playing games on Facebook as well as board games, cards, dancing, baking and reading. I like to visit yard sales, thrift stores, and flea markets. Though I haven't done so in years, I do enjoy bowling and putt putt golfing. Walking is my usual farm of exercise as well as dancing.
