Im the oldest of 8 children and was fortunate enough to be homeschooled K-12. Im very close with my family and have always lived in the country. My family owns a small business building farm equipment, that I have worked in since I graduated from high school. I enjoy my job a lot and have been blessed to work with my Father, two sisters, three brothers, uncle and a great group of guys. Some things that I enjoy doing are going for walks, riding bikes, gardening(I like square foot gardening), working on some of my hobbies (woodworking, cooking, hiking and target shooting) watching movies that are good and clean and just sitting around visiting with friends and family. Im also very Pro Life, Pro Traditional Marriage, and politically conservative. I have also just become a third degree Knights of Columbus this year(2016) and hope to make forth degree this summer. I don't really watch any TV for the simple reason that there isn't anything decent on, and even if there were something good, the commercials aren't worth it. Some goals that I have are to get married, start a family, plant an orchard, become a master woodworker and build up a small hobby farm, and most importantly to make it to haven with my future wife, family and as many other people as I can.

God always amazes me with the little and big ways He works in my life! I'm blessed to teach music at a Catholic elementary where I get to attend Mass every day. I love watching my students have fun making music! Most of them are a lot of fun to teach and the more challenging students will hopefully help to make me a better teacher (or drive me crazy--one of the two). I have a fantastic family, made up of two loving parents, two wonderful big sisters, two great brothers-in-law, five beautiful nieces, and five handsome nephews. I love hanging out with them all and wish I got to spend more time playing with my nieces and nephews. I grew up in a Catholic home, but it wasn't until I went to college that I really made my faith my own. I was blessed with a wonderful community at the student parish. It not only strengthened my faith, but also gave me friends who both loved and lived their faith. A few other random tidbits: Although I've been told on far too many occasions that I'm quiet, I prefer to think that God made me a listener so talkers would have someone to listen to them. I've been blessed (or perhaps cursed) with my dad's quirky sense of humor, which is more obvious when I'm comfortable with someone. I tend to be organized and like to have a plan, but I can also be flexible and go with the flow when necessary (very helpful when teaching!). I don't like milk on my cereal. I like the idea of cooking, but I'm far from being an accomplished chef. It's hard to cook for one person, especially when that person has selective taste buds. I enjoy dancing, mostly country swing, but I've also been told I'm good at polkas. I would love to learn some ballroom eventually. I love used bookstores and have overflowing bookcases as a result. I try to find joy in the little things and like to focus on the sunshine, even if it's behind the clouds. (Yes, I realize that sounds rather cheesy, but I'm okay with that.)

I recently moved back to Nebraska after teaching in Wyoming for 6 1/2 years. I am an elementary school teacher; I love teaching. Family is very important to me, that is why I moved back to Nebraska. The person that inspires me most is my grandma, she is an amazing woman of God. Her faith and relationships with others and Christ is a wonderful thing to witness. My Catholic faith is important to me also. I teach CCD, participate in a Catholic book study and Bible study, and children's liturgy at my parish. In my free time I like to watch tv shows and movies, read books (I love Harry Potter and The Hunger Games), play games (especially with my grandma and other family members), and work on teaching projects. I am an introvert, but I am easy to get to know.

I am an independent, 34 year old male who loves sports, watching movies, and most outdoor activities. I have a good sense of humor and am very kind-hearted. I love kids, especially my young nephew, and enjoy spending time with my family and friends. I am very easy-going, and honest and I love trying new things! I love everything related to weather, and have done a little bit of storm chasing. I also enjoy travel and trying lots of new restaurants. I am an excellent bowler, and compete nationally, and wouldn't mind someone with a good bowling arm. Of course, I am looking for someone who enjoys similar things, but who also would like to introduce me to new things that they enjoy.I'm looking for a woman who knows sign language,or wants to learn. I'm hearing impaired, but date both hearing and deaf girls. And best of all, I'm very patient, so wouldn't mind helping you learn! :) My biggest problem with dating is finding someone who is interested in learning how to communicate with me. English is really my 2nd language, though I come from hearing family. Because of this, sometimes my English isn't good, but my signing language is terrific!!

I am a very family oriented person. I enjoy doing things without my family but it's good to get together with them and do activities with them also. I dream of traveling to many places both in the states and abroad! I enjoy having music in my life, mostly singing in the church choir these days, and listening to many different Broadway soundtracks! I enjoy reading and hanging out with my friends.
  • Samantha, 26 from Lincoln, NE
    26, Lincoln, NE
Hi! My name is Samantha (I usually go by Sam). I graduated from SCC Lincoln in the Visual Publications program (graphic design). I am currently furthering my education to obtain my Bachelor's Degree in graphic design at UNL. I love to cross stitch while I watch different shows/movies on Netflix. I love to read, I've recently gotten into James Patterson's books. I love listening to music, I listen to mostly pop, but I have a lot of oldies such as Earth Wind and Fire, the BeeGees, etc. I'm a huge dog lover! I'd like to adopt from the Humane Society in the future. I'm a major Disnerd (Disney fan). I collect Disney Princess memorabilia along with Olaf, from the movie Frozen. It's my goal to go to Disney World someday and to see the ocean while I'm there because I've never seen it in person. I would love to travel in the future to places like Rome, Florence, Kyoto, etc. My favorite color is purple.

I'm funny, easy-going and very positive. Sometimes I love not having a plan and being spontaneous. When I'm not working, I like going out and having a good time but love to also stay in and relax at home. I truly believe life is what you make of it and Im just looking for someone who feels the same.My family is a big part of my life and I enjoy spending time with them whenever I can. I am also a big sports fan. Football (Go Big Red!) and basketball are at the top of my list. About You: You are genuinely a nice guy, funny, caring, and compassionate. You enjoy some of the simple things in life, not materialistic and realize there is way more to life than money can buy. You are mature, can laugh at yourself, and still manage to smile and find humor in even the most stressful situations. You have to be able to handle my sarcasm. You can tear it up with me for a night on the town or just chill at home with nice glass of wine or a cold beer. :)
  • Carolyn, 23 from Lincoln, NE
    23, Lincoln, NE
Hi I'm Carolyn and am absolutely in love with my faith, family, friends, music and teaching. I have one younger brother and am very close to him and my parents. I love to sing and have the privilege to sing in my mom's choir every Sunday and direct a Youth choir at my parish. I also sing for weddings and funerals. All of these are very rewarding. In 2011, I got to go to World Youth Day in Madrid Spain. During that trip I was blessed with the opportunity to bathe in the water of Lourdes in France. That was an experience that drew me in closer to the Blessed Mother than I ever would have expected. That woman has showed me a lot of beauty in this world. Another influential person I look up to in my life is Mother Angelica...that woman and her sass/slap you in the face with her opinions and advice...brilliant. :) When I have a free moment in life and just want to chill I love taking long walks on the beach (haha if only there were actual beaches in Nebraska! I actually would take a lake beach any day) But on a serious note, I love to cook, watch old 1940/50s movies and I love a good glass of whiskey. I also love taking landscape photography.

  • Adam, 35 from Lincoln, NE
    35, Lincoln, NE
I have worked assisting homeless people find work and housing in both a shelter setting and through domestic violence housing and drug rehabilitation programs for the last fifteen years. I am passionate about helping others and building connections with people. I am outgoing and enjoy social interaction. Hiking/climbing in the mountains is my idea of a proper day and I travel to Colorado multiple times a year for hiking or snowboarding trips. I love to dance, converse, am an avid jogger and I edited a newspaper for a time. I also love snorkeling and surfing and I just experienced a dolphin shooting me across a pond in the Bahamas. I play a subpar didgeridoo and I have been hospitalized from jumping off a bridge (ask for story later if intrigued) I may have few jokes, and they may be terrible, but I tell them with great vigor and generally receive a chuckle
