55, Omaha, NEI was born and raised in Omaha, NE, where I currently reside. I attended a Catholic grade school and a Jesuit high school. I am the second of six children, with one older brother, a younger brother, and three younger sisters. My Mom and siblings live close by, resulting in constant interactions and family gatherings. My Dad is deceased. All five siblings are married and have children, with 15 nieces/nephews. I work as a geologist for an engineering firm, where I engage in environmental studies and remediation of contaminated sites. I have traveled to about 20 states and West Germany for work, though my travel is more limited as of the last four years, with only occassional short trips for work. I attend Mass on Sundays and occasionally during the week. I am fairly outgoing, and enjoy conversing with people, am honest and loyal to friends and family. Though outgoing, I tend to have a limited circle of close friends that have similar interests. My primary hobbies include hunting and flyfishing, shooting archery, ice fishing, and tying flies. I generally take at least two to four hunting or fishing trips a year for four to nine days at a time. I also enjoy cooking, though cooking for one can be tedious at times (lots of leftovers). I enjoy reading, though finding time to just sit can be challenging. Favorite authors include John Geirach, Nick Lyons, Kurt Vonnegut Jr., Stephen Jay Gould, and P. J. O'Rourke, amongst others. For exercise, I walk, do pushups, and light weight lifting. I enjoy listening to folk, new age, Irish and African music and a variety of rock music. I do not go to movies very often. My taste in movies leans more toward Monty Python, Mel Brooks, and similar fare. I do work on my house, but consider it to be more of a task than an exciting challenge. I do have a large wildflower garden. At my age, I am a little leary about having children, but choose to keep an open mind on that subject. I do not have any pets (allergies) but do have several cactus plants. One last note, I do not smoke, but do drink. I particulary enjoy single malt scotch, but regularly drink beer as well, and prefer red to white wine.
35, Lincoln, NEI dont know what life has in store for me but I cant wait to find out. My family and upbringing have been very influential. I grew up on a farm in southwest Nebraska and was the second oldest of six. We were very close growing up and are still very close even though we are spread throughout the US. I enjoy the opportunity to visit them and see the new locations when they move! I happen to be one of the boring non-moving individuals of the family :) I enjoy going to or watching an occasional sporting event but am sadly lacking in sports knowledge. I never played sports growing up and neither of my parents had much interest in them. If you expect to bond with my dad over a game you will be sadly disappointed; however, youll never have to worry about him rooting for a rival team. I also enjoy going to Broadway, ballet, music, dance, and theater productions and generally get tickets to a handful of performances every year. My parents always encourage me to be independent in obtaining what I want in life. They encouraged me to go to college but were clear with me earlier on that I would be responsible for funding it. Other than contributing a little money toward my first car Ive been responsible for all major purchases in my life from college to car to house. Ill probably end up stubbornly independent like my grandmother and do all sorts of things I shouldnt do because I want to keep my independence. Id like to say I have a boring job as an accountant; however, there always seems to be some flurry of drama happening with my job that makes up for the times I have to force myself to stay awake while reading a 200+ page GASB on pension accounting standards. I could ramble on for paragraphs but will try to save some mystery about myself for further conversations.
40, Lincoln, NELike most everyone on this site, I am hoping to connect with someone who can not only be my partner in this life, but someone whom I can help grow closer to God and vice versa. Not that being single isn't a great vocation in itself, but we wouldn't be on here if we felt comfortable that is the path meant for us. I'm a small-town girl with good values, a well-rounded education, and a strong work ethic. I love my faith and my family and friends. Beyond that I love traveling, archaeology, history, St. Louis Cardinals baseball, Cornhusker athletics, geopolitics, the Middle East, and photography. Just like everyone else, I enjoy long talks, evenings in, evenings out, and good food. I have worked as a paleontologist, a manager at a Berkshire Hathaway company, and in real estate...varied occupations, I know. I like outdoor activities such as hiking, fishing, and softball. I would like to go zip-lining in a rainforest and skydiving, but I would never go bungee jumping. I am super sentimental, but am shy about showing too much outward emotion in public. I love museums, road trips, and foreign films. Someday I would like to take my entire family on an archaeological dig in Israel.
32, Humphrey, NEI love my faith, family and work! Beautiful out there lots of history. I like old houses, and am currently renovating one too.

32, Alliance, NEHi there and thanks for stopping by! I'm Shane. I am someone who is strong in traditional Christian values and conservative beliefs. I have a high moral standard and can be a little old fashioned at times. I'm joyful in the fact that I am saving myself for marriage and it would be nice if you did too. A few words that I would say describe me are: compassionate, honest, loyal, organized, methodical, easy going, a great listener, and very family oriented. I am extremely loyal to my faith, family, friends and country. When I have developed a relationship, I will stand completely committed. The two MOST important things in my life are God and family. I am an active member of the Knights of Columbus and enjoy the time I get to spend with my brothers in Christ! I currently work two jobs that keep me pretty busy... but I still get two days off every week. Phew :-) I really enjoy listening to music and love to join in when I can (although I'm a little rusty :( I'm hoping to one day get back into another performing group, including the choir at church. I enjoy sports and have a passion for the recreational types when it comes to participation. When staying in, I enjoy; cooking, cards, board games and video games (although rare nowadays) and a good movie. I have a true passion for many outdoor activities that include: hunting, fishing, hiking, camping, rodeos, and watching a good storm roll through.
61, Omaha, NEMy quiet time is an afternoon walk with my dog when I pray the rosary. I'm blessed with a generous pension, everything is paid for, so I'm ready to travel. 42, Omaha, NEI recently moved to an FSSP parish; I grew up with the Novus Ordo, but have learned to appreciate the...rigor...of the traditional Mass. I currently work for a credit card processing company, but have completed my MBA; we shall see what the next few months bring. I earned a license to be an amateur radio Technician last summer, I intend to find some time within the next few months to acquire the skill sets for General and Amateur Extra licenses. ...And I intend to acquire a Concealed Carry Permit this next spring. ...And learn Latin. I am also teaching myself to play guitar, however slowly, and own a (cheap) violin and a (not-so-cheap) e-keyboard. In time, I hope to learn to play all three. Sooner or later too, I also seek to learn Latin, and a few other languages. I never seem to find cause to quit learning things! Technically, I guess I'm "middle-aged" now, but I've got tons of life and spark left. Care to come along on this journey of mine?
39, Fullerton, NEWhat to say...first of all my faith is the most important aspect of my life. God has given me so many gifts, my son, my family, and the ability to do what I love to do for a living. Thanking Him daily almost doesn't seem enough, but I give Him thanks and praise everyday!! I'm looking for a woman who loves the Lord and will walk with me in faith.
20, Omaha, NEPeople are my passion. My focus is family. I love working with children and am hoping to carry that love into a career in medicine. I'd like to be a pediatric oncologist. My mom is the reason I am who I am today. I grew up with a fairly absent dad, and I'd be happy to share more about that once I get to know you better. My faith is really important to me, but like anyone I struggle. In my free time I love hanging out with the people important to me. I come from a big Italian family. I'm very open once I get to know someone, so feel free to ask me any questions. (: I am from Illinois but go to school in Omaha.
24, Crofton, NEHi, I'm Travis. I graduated from South Dakota State University with a degree in Agricultural Business. I am now helping to manage a farming operation near my hometown. I was raised on a family farm, and the lifestyle has left a lasting impact on my life. I enjoy most anything outdoors, as well as sitting down and relaxing when the opportunity arises. There are few things I enjoy more than sitting down and having a great conversation over a couple drinks. And to end the night on a dance floor, just makes it that much better. I was always raised catholic, but it wasn't until college, where I meet some lifelong friends that got me involved in the Newman center. Through a series of events, I experienced a great conversion, and my life has since changed dramatically. My faith has grown from simply a Sunday obligation, to the basis of my whole life. I growth will be a lifelong process. I have the hopes to find someone who takes their faith as seriously as I, and will help me grown spiritually, as I help her do the same.
