32, Columbus, NEMy name is Eric, and I consider myself to be that down to earth, good-hearted type of guy. I'm simple to get along with and would describe myself as a relaxed person who has a smile most the time. I'd say I'm fairly shy when I meet someone new, but become more outgoing once I get more comfortable around that person. If others were to say what stands out to them the most about me, they'd say it's my caring heart and understanding character. I like to be a good shoulder to lean on when someone needs to talk. When in a relationship, I like holding the door open because I'm a believer in chivlary and showing good manners. I very much enjoy cuddling and long hugs as well. For the most part, I view myself as non-materialistic and value time that's spent with friends and family. I tend to enjoy the little things in life because of the small town atmosphere I grew up around, but my interests are flexible to city activities as well. So really, I'm up for any outdoor activity from a sporting event, a long walk, bike ride, fishing, to being near the lake. I'm always up for trying new things; horseback riding, for example, would be something I would be interested in trying. I will listen to pretty much any music, but I have to say I favor classic rock the most. My hobby of taking nature photographs has taken off over the past couple of years, and lots of times I'll be out taking pictures of cloud formations, sunsets, birds, landscapes, and other various forms of scenery that mother nature provide. I do also like going on road trips since I like seeing places that are new to me. A few destinations I have in mind this year are the Badlands, the Rockies in Colorado, and perhaps the Ozarks.
25, Hastings, NEHi! I am Emily. I adore my family and friends, I love being with my nieces and nephews and watching their many activities! I look forward to meeting someone that is my best friend. I hope to find someone who loves me for who I am and I will do the same for them!
25, Lincoln, NEHi! I'm Nate, I moved to Omaha a little while back but it won't let me change it. I have a career as an electrician and I'm looking to move into the next step in my life. So my time is pretty valuable to me. I would say history and world affairs are my passion, these topics consume most my free time. Along with going to the gym. A lot of reading! I'm pretty traditional and do not keep up with the times. I have a large family and am very close with them. Family is the most important thing in my life.
69, Omaha, NEI am the oldest in a large Irish Catholic family. I have 4 children and in April my eighth grandchild will be born. I love my Catholic faith and my family (especially the grandchildren). I plan to retire for a second time in May and spend more time with the two youngest grandchildren but I'm open to meeting a good Catholic man if God sends one my way.
35, Lincoln, NETo preface and with full disclosure, I'm a bit skeptical of online dating as personality is a tough sell across the Internet. My presence here is more about reaching out to make connections rather than simply seeking a romantic match, though I am open to that possibility, should, down the road, a friendship progress into one of romantic intentions. But if a 'lightning struck and the rest is history' experience is your goal, I will most likely be a disappointment to you. I am an introvert with spurts of extroverted tendencies. I prefer one-on-one and small-group interactions and enjoy socializing over good food and drink. Larger gatherings tend to reveal my goofier, impish nature, and on such occasions, I'm rarely without some snarky or pithy comment. I attended art school and happily hold a position as a graphic/interactive designer, or as my email signature says, "Ocular Aesthetician." Much of my free time is spent staying active either on the volleyball court as a player, both sand and court, and a coach, at the gym, or biking. As a night owl, I have a fondness for good films of all kinds and reading, of which I should really do more. On that note, I have a deep appreciation for most anything art-related, including music, theater, fashion, and design. I'm meticulously organized and can be a bit obsessive about things remaining neat and clean. I almost always have a firm and decided opinion on whatever happens to be the topic of discussion, and enjoy engaging counter arguments and ideas. Lastly, answers to frequently asked questions are as follows: - Yes. - No. - If we're doing away with all things healthful, pizza. Otherwise, I can't seem to get enough sushi. - Right. Using my left often has tragic ends. - Both have their place, though cats share a certain affinity to my own personality traits that could tip the scale in their favor. I could do without spiders. - Briefs. - It depends upon to what it's applied, but anything ending in 'ochre' seems a bit pretentious. - All of it, but only some country and rap. I'm not keen on Nickelback. - Scotch, neat. Otherwise IPAs and English ales. But I'm not above a Miller High Life from time to time. - It's more than likely a quote from a movie. Or "Friends." - Ask away.
56, Norfolk, NEI've recently returned to the church after 33 years in the Evangelical church. I learned to love Jesus, study the Word, pray and love the body of Christ in the Evangelical church, I continue to have many friends there and am so grateful for all I gained there. Since my return to the Catholic faith, I am in love with Jesus in a whole new way. My friends and family have been the greatest influence in my life.
25, Ashland, NEHey! I'm Celeste. I'm a teacher and live in Ashland which is right by Mahoney state park and right between Lincoln and Omaha. I'm just checking this out for now so I'll write more when I have a bit more time :) I love staying active, basically playing all sports, watching football (will always bleed Husker red), bowling, movies, relaxing on the couch, anything outdoors like hiking, camping, fishing, going out for a little target practice, all of that! I love going back to see my family and also hanging out with friends when the opportunity comes.
69, Omaha, NEI recently retired and enjoy it very much. I also started golfing last year (beginner - this needs to be emphasized)! Enjoy going to the outdoor music events, bookstores, garage sales, new places. I do not have children, but if you do fine. Prefer talking in person. Looking for someone to go out with, maybe weekly, but not every day. I do enjoy a glass of wine or beer! Also I have rescue cats.
50, Omaha, NEI have come to peace with where I am since my divorce. This is allowing me to look forward to my future, and hope to meet the right man to first be friends with and with luck fall in love and spend the rest of our lives together. I've been alone for a long time and I'd like to have someone to share the good times and the rough times that may come along. At 50 I feel I have a lot of love to give someone yet and a lot of good memories yet to be made. I love to experience new things, have fun, socialize, and sometimes just stay home and have down time. I love the outdoors, thunderstorms, my family (I have a lot of kids that keep me busy but this spring my 17 year old will graduate from high school and I will have 2 at home). Love movies, music is big especially any kind of a live music even, and am working hard to build my faith.
75, Lisco, NEI love spending time with my family and friends. My faith is important to me. I like to play cards, travel, play dominoes, go to my grandchildrens activities, read, and watch good movies and some tv. I so enjoy being around people and especially those that are positive and uplifting. Laughter is good for the soul, and playing dominoes with 90+ year olds provides lots of laughter. I like to have fun. Life is too short to be serious all the time. I do not mind driving. I drive 110 miles one way to go to grand kids activities, and sometimes do that several times a week.
27, Omaha, NEJoyful and friendly person that enjoys reading, soccer, and spending time with friends. My faith is very important to me, having spent a year in the seminary and spending many years in discernment. I am very involved with the youth group at my Parish helping lead the youth of the Church closer to Christ.
27, Hebron, NELikes: spending time with friends and family. Red Dirt Music. Golf. Sewing. Spring. Fall. The smell of rain. Bowling. Wine Tasting. Traveling. Cooking.
