We all have an ideal in our minds of whom we want to marry, and I am no different. In reality, though, if we are to experience love, we must relinquish this ideal in exchange for the chance to journey through this crazy life together with an imperfect but real person. My ideal includes finding someone who is authentically Catholic, utterly honest, and genuine. I hope to find someone who wants to have a family and is as excited to be a parent as I am. I envision my wife and me challenging each other and helping each other grow. Finally, on a more mundane level, I want us to feel comfortable being fully ourselves, to share common interests, and to make each other laugh. I think sharing all of these connections will help us to become truly one, and it is hard for me to think of sharing my life with someone who does not embody these qualities in some form. But this is just a list, and any person I should meet will of course surprise me in many ways. I am excited to learn about and come to love a unique but imperfect person. I am ready to love when it is hard, be hurt, forgive, and, through it all, make love possible. Such love is not something that just happens but requires commitment, self-sacrifice, and effort. This very challenge excites me, and I hope to find someone who embraces love as both a challenging and exciting journey. My desire to both provide and be present for a family was a big reason why I chose to pursue a career in accounting. After graduating from high school in my hometown of Mitchell, SD, I attended college at the University of Notre Dame with the initial goal of becoming a professor of theology. Eventually, though, through various life experiences and reflections, I found my way into accounting. For the last three years I have worked for the Nebraska State Auditor. My job is both challenging and rewarding and is good fit both for my talents and disposition. Outside of work, I enjoy reading, watching and playing sports, following political and financial news, and watching movies. I am also part of a young adult group in Lincoln. If you are interested in knowing more, I look forward to hearing from you. I prefer to meet in person sooner rather than later when it comes to online correspondence. God bless you!

Hello! I grew up in the Midwest and have bounced around a bit since then. The Church has been one of the few constants and I am always seeking insight to deepen my understanding of Catholic teachings. I enjoy adventures both extraordinary and mundane, including flying small aircraft, skydiving, reading a good book, and visiting the grocery store (because you never really know what you'll find). I also enjoy trying new things, singing in my parish choir, and testing new baking recipes. I tend toward science fiction entertainment, but with happy endings because I am something of an idealist.

I'm a pretty easy going and semi-old fashioned type of guy. I believe you should treat others as you want to be treated, taking care of your responsibilities, and being true to yourself and not going with the trends or doing enough to just get by. I have a strong belief in my faith and it has helped make me the man I am today. I believe in having good strong morals, but to also be open minded, treating everyone with respect, and try to have a little fun when I can. I like anything on four wheels that goes fast, getting out and having a little fun, otherwise just kicking back and taking it easy and enjoying life, family and friends. I also enjoy meeting new people and hope one day to find that someone I can share my life with, and give my all.

Greetings! I'm a lifelong member of the Cathederal parish as well as a Eucharistic Minister. I'm in the middle of eight, 4 brothers and 3 sisters. My two youngest siblings have passed. The remaining siblings all live in the Omaha area. Both of my parents as well as my husband have also passed. I have five daughters. Four that live in Omaha one near Des Moines. Seven grand children that I enjoy. Relaxing with friends and family, playing games, going to the movies, out to dinner, boating, knitting and crocheting, as well as my garden. Laughter is very important, I tend to be a bit on the serious side and have learned laughter is such a gift. Of course I wouldn't be where I am today without my beliefs and relationship with the Lord. Helps to know I'm never alone. It has gotten me through the challenges one faces and the joys life has in store. My parents were very influential as well as Fr Don Shane and Fr Norman Hunke. I was involved with TEC as a teen and into my early twenties.

I have worked assisting homeless people find work and housing in both a shelter setting and through domestic violence housing and drug rehabilitation programs for the last fifteen years. I am passionate about helping others and building connections with people. I am outgoing and enjoy social interaction. Hiking/climbing in the mountains is my idea of a proper day and I travel to Colorado multiple times a year for hiking or snowboarding trips. I love to dance, converse, am an avid jogger and I edited a newspaper for a time. I also love snorkeling and surfing and I just experienced a dolphin shooting me across a pond in the Bahamas. I play a subpar didgeridoo and I have been hospitalized from jumping off a bridge (ask for story later if intrigued) I may have few jokes, and they may be terrible, but I tell them with great vigor and generally receive a chuckle
