48, Omaha, NEFor over 10 years, my life revolved around my faith and my two children, both of whom had special medical needs. Then my son died suddenly and my daughter and I struggled to find equilibrium in our lives. When my daughter lost her way a little, and then her health started to deteriorate, I realized that my life revolved around my faith, caring for my daughter, and trying to help her find her way back to God. Last summer, after receiving an artificial heart, she died of heart failure due to infection. When she died, I believe she had surrendered her life to God. God blessed me with my children, and through caring for them through illness and loving them, He has brought me closer to Him. Now that my children live with our Heavenly Father, I've struggled with what my purpose is. After much prayer, I realized that it hasn't changed. My purpose, or calling, is the same as it has always been: to love and serve God. I pray for God's will in my life and try to stay open to doing His will. I pretty much just try to live in a way that will reunite my family someday.

I'm planing to own a home, and am looking to start family life. If you're wanting to sample some of the latest Scotch and a good book or two to see if love can flourish drop me a line.

29, Lincoln, NE"Life is a great adventure" seems to be the motto of my life whether I'm ready or not! As I grow closer and closer to Our Lord and Lady, I go down more paths I never would have expected but totally LOVE!!! I like challenging myself and trying to grow in new ways. Everyday, I try to do at least one thing that either I know I should do (but don't really want to... yes, I'm not perfect...) or something that scares me (you should know that setting mouse traps is a legit scary moment!!!! SO DON'T LAUGH!) I'm an adventurer and home body all together. I love hanging out with friends, hosting dinner parties, popping in at the family farm to chill with my family, traveling all over the country, exploring new things, and curling up with a great book! I just love life and want to take in as much as I can!

57, Omaha, NEGreetings! Laughter is very important, I am sometimes serious and have learned laughter is such a gift. Of course I wouldn't be where I am today without my beliefs and relationship with the Lord. Helps to know I'm never alone. It has gotten me through the challenges one faces and the joys life has in store. I'm in the midst of rediscovering what I am passionate about. It is a journey of self discovery. I know I like to entertain and having friends and family to celebrate the day. You don't need a holiday to have fun with others. On weekends and down times I enjoy relaxing with friends and family, boating at Branched Oak Lake, playing cards or games, going to the movies, out to dinner, knitting and crocheting, as well as my garden. I'm a lifelong member of the Cathederal parish as well as a Eucharistic Minister. I'm in the middle of eight, 4 brothers and 3 sisters. My two youngest siblings have passed. The remaining siblings all live in the Omaha area. I have five daughters. Four that live in Omaha one near Des Moines. Seven grand children that I enjoy whenever I can. My parents were very influential as well as Fr Don Shane and Fr Norman Hunke. I was involved with TEC as a teen and into my early twenties.
