39, Omaha, NEHello! I am an insurance defense attorney. I am also a lector, sacristan, and usher at St. Leo's. I am big on working out, reading, camping, and volunteer activities such as Big Brothers Big Sisters and Hospice. I am on the moderate left of the Catholic spectrum with a big belief in charity and human dignity. Pope Francis fan (of course). My claim to fame is surviving a leukemia transplant in 1987.
56, Fremont, NEI am a hardworking, sensitive, fun and caring person. Old fashion values, respect and trust are important to me. It is what is in the heart that counts. Kids are my passion. Helping others is one way I can give back to God. I enjoy the outdoors, sports especially watching football, playing golf, and being active. My adoptive 19 year son has been a challenge yet a blessing. I can't imagine my life without him now. I enjoy the simple things in life and having a good laugh, the kind where tears are running down your face and your side hurts. Currently, I am self-employed. I have rental property of my own. I try and do most of the work myself so fairly handy at fixing things. It is fun to take a house that is in bad shape and fix it up. Even though, teaching and working with kids would be my ideal job. When I have some down time, you would probably find me doing a project at the house, watching a football game, enjoying time at a lake or a river, or just reading a good book on the porch. Friendships are very important to me so might be spending some quality time with a friend. I am okay with being by myself yet would like a long term committed relationship.
65, Lincoln, NEI am wildly Irish, blushingly fun, seriously romantic and exceptionally hug-able. I have a great career, a nice home, a few great friends, and children who like to spend my money- I am the all American woman. I love being with people who are interesting and humorous. Laughter is the key to happiness and I firmly believe it is the best medicine. I spend a lot of time with my family -3 children and 11 grandkids. What I like to do: I enjoy giving time to the my church, I like to have fun, I like to cook, I love my life, but I am missing someone special to share it all. I would like to spend more time traveling and enjoying the finer things in life. I have spent most of my life planning for my future, but I don't want to do it alone.
61, Lincoln, NEI am a homebody that enjoys the comfort of being in my living room, reading or watching good quality television or movies. I enjoy shopping and eating at restaurants. I love to travel, especially to historic areas of America and Europe. I have lived in Europe when I was serving in the US Army. I love European history, art, arcthiture and culture. I love history, especially medieval and American colonial. I am traditional in what I believe in. I am a believer in God, family, country, and conservative values. I am a conservative republican, who is a devout Catholic. I was married for many years, have been divorced for about six years, and have an annulment. I have one child who is a junior in high school. I will always be a small-town guy, even though I have lived in Lincoln for over 30 years. I still miss the quiet and beauty of country life. As much as I enjoy the amenities of city life, I would never be happy in a big city such as Chicago, New York or Los Angeles. Life on an acreage really appeals to me. I was a handguns instructor and am a supporter of the second amendment. My educational background was in secondary education, and I have completed several years in graduate school studying history and special education. I enjoy cooking and researching my family genealogy, reading and writing articles for a local publication. I hope to lead tours in Colonial American locations and Europe in the near future. I have no interest in sports at all. I don't even watch them on TV. I have never used tobacco or drugs. I am not much of a drinker and do not gamble. I am not fond of bars or loud, crowded places. I love animals of all kinds and am looking for someone who shares my values, someone who is not a workaholic, and who values the time she spends with me and wants to discuss everything from current affairs, news, history and her day. I am looking for a kind of girl next door, who has a sense of class and who is well-read, articulate, and kind. I enjoy classic old movies from the 30s through the sixties, as well as a few of the well-made modern ones. As far as music, I am eclectic. I enjoy a lot of the great old sixties songs and singers such as Dean Martin, Petula Clark, Linda Ronstadt, as well as some of the really good country stars of old. I occasionally enjoy opera, classical, and Irish. I detest rap, hip-hop, and heavy metal. If you who would rather listen to a thunderstorm than the noise of a crowded bar, then we may go well together.
