I am a committed Catholic who has been single for about 16 years. I have raised two daughters. I attend Mass weekly. My time off is usually spent on the computer, doing home improvement projects, or with a good book. I also enjoy hiking and walks when the weather allows. I attend a gym and workout at least 3 days a week. Going to dinner and a play (musical) is a good time. The bar scene is not my thing, but a good wine or beer with dinner is fine with me. I enjoy traveling when funds allow. I have been to Wisconsin several times to visit my daughter and her family. I have also been to Puerto Rico (love the warm weather) and plan to return soon. Although I live in the Northeast I prefer warm weather. Ideally, when I retire, it will be to a warmer climate.

I am a blessed human being with the desire to be in service to others. My faith is my only saving grace and without it I am doomed. I love to talk, communicate using all methods, travel and share my gifts with others. Would like to have the company of a companion who wants to love and be loved. Going thru life alone is difficult but not impossible as I am keenly aware that my conscience always reminds me that the Saints and Holy Spirit are always with me and keep me in line. Life can be difficult but not usually impossible. Having someone to share it with even as friends is good. I live life 1 day at a time and pray for the wisdom and strength to navigate from one end of the day to the other without getting into to much trouble.I use the gifts that God gave me as a musician to bring joy and happiness into thousands of peoples hearts and minds in all the nursing homes I perform at. If we do for others with love then hopefully what we do will come back as a gift. To be more selfless and less selfish is an ongoing mission. There is no doubt that God knows more about my Shoulders then I do. I wish to share the ultimate joys of my life with those who care to listen Blessings are to be shared.

Two roads diverged in a wood, and I I took the one less traveled by, And that has made all the difference. I know this quote is often over-used but this poem has always held a special place in my heart because i feel like it describes a lot of my life since I went to college. I believe everything happens for a reason and consider myself extremely blessed for my past for I would not be the person I am today if it wasn't for the trials and triumphs I've experienced thus far. At this point in my life, I am looking for someone to grow with both personally and spiritually. One thing I've learned along the way is that the greatest things happen when you least expect them to. Always remember it's the spontaneity that makes life worth living for!

Hi! I'm Roland. I can be content going to dinner or having a picnic at an overlook enjoying different sites usually where there are mountains, lakes, the shoreline and especially sunrises and sunsets. I enjoy pretty much anything thing outdoors. A drive up the coast of Maine is always nice and my favorite lake is Moosehead. It's very remote, has very few boats on it, and the fishing is pretty good. The wildlife is always nice and sitting on the shore by a campfire sipping on a favorite drink (not necessarily alcohol) listening to the loons is quite hard to beat. In the winter, I enjoy spending one or two weeks on one of the Caribbean islands. Someday, I liked to go to Alaska. My family and friends consider me outgoing. I can strike up a conversation with just about anyone. My daughter and son are grown and on their own and I have one 6 year old grandson I have four sisters and one brother. Family is important to me. I'm considered a very good neighbor. I respect their privacy yet there for them when they need help. Believe it or not, I've never been on a roller-coaster ride and have no desire to change that. Parasailing is more my speed. I learned to ride a motorcycle a couple years ago and I enjoy that considerably. I enjoy snow skiing. I'm more of a "glider" than a "downhill racer". Mornings are the best time of day! I enjoy cooking and trying new "healthy" recipes. Chocolate cake is healthy isn't it? I work out several times a week at Planet Fitness and find it quite addicting. Staying in shape and eating healthy is very important to me. I believe it has effects that go beyond fitness. A healthy body means a healthy mind, and ultimately, a healthy life. I don't have any pets at the moment. I was thinking about getting a dog from one of the rescue shelters but I'm not sure I want to be tied down. Spending time with that special person makes all the things above that much more enjoyable. Enough about me, I'd love to hear about you. Thanks for taking the time to read my profile.

I enjoy spending time with family and friends. My parents are the most influential people in my life. They have taught me by example to be loyal, kind, and loving. My leisure time is spent playing golf, bowling, traveling, and volunteering time to my church.

I don't know about you, but I feel like they're is to much off me to put down in 2500 words, but I'll do my best. I love singing, and you can always find me with some melody stuck in my head and humming for days on end. I have mature moments but much more childish ones ( planning my own trip to Disney next year). I am by no means a "perfect Catholic". I have been trying to say the Rosary before bed, but only ever make it to the first decade before I'm out cold. Oh and I'm quite an eclectic nerd. I love the normal need stuff ( Doctor Who, Marvel, LOTR) but also love musicals, Disney, and some prime time television. If you have any questions about any of the above or anything in general please ask!

I listen and care about others' feelings and thoughts. I want to help. I am good at discerning things and offering counsel. My passions are helping people the US and state governments treat unfairly and I am a wannabe social psychologist. I'm in good health, average build, graying hair not so curly.

I love being out and about, being spontaneous with others. Photography is a real interest of mine, and I hope to develop it even more this year. I love spending time at the ocean and my favorite season is the fall. I'm a widow, and admittedly, I still miss my husband a great deal. But it's time now to start a whole new life for myself and I want someone to share it with. Traveling is another thing I'm passionate about and I hope to do some traveling in he not-too-distant future. I'm devoted to my faith, and it's keenly important to me. I don't have a membership yet because I'm waiting for a new debit/charge card to arrive in the mail - so please be patient! Looking forward to talking to that special someone!
