38, Toms River, NJMy story is one of intrigue, daring, action and heartache! No, it's not. But it is one of me going on to a dating site hope to find a nice, wonderful woman with whom to share my time. A riveting tale, to be sure. Now, about me... I'm a technical person who does technical work. A Jeep owner who likes Jeep stuff. I'm close with family and would like my own. Not too much else, really
36, Paterson, NJHi there my name is Mauricio. A little about me: My friends have described me as caring, sweet, reliable, dependable but not afraid to speak up when the situation calls for it. People see me as bookish and nerdy but are very surprised when they discover my sense of humor. A few things that I like doing are going to museums, sporting events (Big Yankee and Jet fan) and exploring different parts of NYC. I love traveling and am in the midst of planning my next trip. I also like playing sports and working out too. I like spending time with friends and family. Basically I am looking for someone who enjoys life to the fullest and likes to have fun.
33, Pennsauken Township, NJ*If you are just going to view my page five times and not message or respond to messages maybe this page is not for you* Now that that is out of the way people want... Truth. People deserve to know to whom it is that they belong and that they are loved. I spent 97% of my live in the secularized culture until converting to Catholicism in 2014. I wish more people were truly passionate how amazing the Catholic faith is instead of keeping it to themselves. Maybe I could have been Catholic sooner if the Good News was actually proclaimed as though it were good. Who knows except God. So, I am on a journey growing to have a more intimate relationship with Jesus and my faith. I have a strong faith family who support my efforts and that means so much. I like to read and discover new things about Catholicism. I don't like big crowds and socializing can be a challenge because I can be highly introverted but I am also a people watcher.
33, North Arlington, NJHi there, Thank you for reading my profile. I am fairly new to this site, but here's to trying something new!. I'm a very driven person. My family and friends usually describe as a motivated, respectful, caring, kind, loving, generous and light-hearted person; I must add (since this can not be described by my relatives) romantic and very affectionate. I love to enjoy life, and I strive to be a well-rounded, and positive person everyday. I've recently started my fourth year of Electrical Engineering Major which is the perfect complement to my job, it does help me to do it efficiently and confidently. It is also important to understand that life goes on and as it does...we keep constantly learning from each other and from experiences. I am believer, a Christian and I thank my family for raising me in the faith of Christianity and for encouraging me to keep getting closer to God and living for him everyday with dignity in my actions. I'm quite a fan of spending time with family and friends, visiting new places, lots of them via train rides, going out on walks and new adventures, talking long walks with my dog Oliver. I do like the spring and fall seasons but I can have fun in the winter and summer as well. I'm not sure if this is the right route for me, but it'll be interesting to see what's out there. Whatever happens, happens and by that I mean friendship or love. Thank you again for taking the time to read my profile. You're more than welcome to say hi :) God bless
69, Eatontown, NJMy name is Al, short for Albert. I live in Eatontown New Jersey. I am a 68 year old widower with eight surviving children and 11 grandkids. I have been gainfully retired for the last five years from the Federal Government after working for them for 23 years. Prior to that I spent 20 years in the Army and retired from the military in 1988. I originally hail from Staten Island, New York but have been in Eatontown since 1982. I have an Associates Degree in education and for the most part have worked in the electronics and aviation arenas. I enjoy being outside, like to take automobile trips especially to historic areas. I like to read a lot and watch law and order type shows on TV. I could easily get back into fishing as a hobby I
44, East Windsor, NJI am blessed to have a wonderful family. My parents, my grandmother, my sister and my goddaughter all inspire me to be a better person. My parents have loved me at my worst and are such a source of encouragement and strength. My grandmother was so content with what she had and just radiated an inner calm. My sister makes me laugh! She has given me the gift of a beautiful nephew and niece who inspire me to be someone whom they can look up to. Anything about history intrigues me, whether it is reading a book, visiting an historic site and taking a tour or watching a documentary. Physical activity is essential and helps boost my outlook on life, so I enjoy a nice walk, a good bicycle ride and practicing ballet. I love to keep a home and to find that long-sought item, unique piece, or perfect gift! Pleasures such as enjoying a nice restaurant, attending the theater, going to a concert, spending a day outdoors, watching a game or seeing a movie would be even more fun if shared with someone!
43, Parsippany-Troy Hills, NJActive soccer dad seeking Mrs. Darcy to share good books, movies, working out, and family outings. I am often out attending my kids' soccer practices and games. On tv, I am beholden to the English Premier League, Game of Thrones, Vikings, and Orphan Black. Having kids offers me the chance to take out literature targeted for "teens" and "young adults" without drawing suspicion from librarians (thoroughly enjoyed Hunger Games, Divergent, the Fifth Wave, Maze Runner, etc.). I also enjoy (re)reading classic literature as well as some "new age." I am youthful in spirit and my profession as a teacher keeps me that way. While I love the Gospels, Song of Solomon and Proverbs have special places in my heart. I enjoyed visiting family in Argentina while growing up in New York and New Jersey, as well as living and visiting family in Puerto Rico. I have always enjoyed music and dancing, whether in the confines of my kitchen or at a family get-together, feasts and festivals, etc. I haven't had time to even wonder where the time goes as I am very much focused on my teaching career, travel soccer with my kids, working out at the track, volunteering, and keeping a happy home. I am working on that elusive balance and feel I am making great strides at achieving it (I'm right on the cusp, I just know it!). I enjoy the "lazy days of summer" but they somehow always leave me exhausted, hankering to get back to teaching so I could rest and recover from another fabulous summer with my youngens! I remember taking a psychology of intimate relationships class as an undergraduate and appreciated how it just made sense to be with someone who shares in common interests, as opposed to trying to mold yourself into what you perceive to be your partner's ideal mate- something I failed to do in my marriage. Life has certainly thrown challenges my way and I am better for it. Should I be blessed with a great partner, she would be in love with life as much as I am. She is confident in her skin and in her abilities. She doesn't need a man but welcomes the synergistic chance to be with a like-minded individual to fall head over heels over. Once that is established, we'll be off to a good start making the sum greater than its parts.
56, Old Bridge Township, NJI am a traditional lady who is old-fashioned and kind-hearted. Family is very important to me. I love to travel, and want to see all 50 states I hope to do more traveling to Europe and the Caribbean. Divorced for 10+ years, I received an annulment about 2 years ago. I am often very spontaneous and enjoy going on day trips and adventures. I enjoy baking with my girls, and like most women, I like long walks on the beach and a glass of wine by a roaring fire.
27, Carteret, NJI am passionate about my work and my studies in political and social philosophy. I absolutely love teaching as a professor part-time and studying as a grad student to make it my full-time profession. They say you should do what you love, and if I did not pursue my passion for philosophy as a career, I would be reading and debating all of this material on my own time. I love interacting with the young adults who are just formulating their own worldview, and I am grateful for that moment when a student of mine finally grasps a new concept. I am an old soul who strives for the Good, the True, and the Beautiful as the philosophers of the past have taught us. My family is deeply important to me, coming from an Eastern-European and Italian background. I do not believe in the modernist perspective that growing up means leaving your family behind. It also means that I do not believe in half-way relationships. The experiences of love I have had in the past have deeply impacted me, and truthfully left a lot of scars. But, they have taught me what I want out of life. For me, the beauty of a committed relationship is where you live not as one anymore, but as two; where it is not so much about your own ego, but about living with and through the other. Much of my downtime is taken up with reading for grad school and work, but even if I was not pursuing such a career, I imagine I would be reading a lot of the same stuff. I try to get in about an hour of exercising four to five times a week, because it is important not only to train the mind, but also the body. I also love studying languages, as I am currently trying to become fluent in Russian and slugging my way through Mandarin Chinese.
32, Little Falls, NJI have only recently been back to the church. I was taking care of my grandmother for 4 months until she passed away in January. I was very close with my grandmother. She was very devoted to her faith and her passing has inspired me to learn more and live according to Christ. I recently spent a week at my aunt and uncles house in the south Florida area; that visit has also been a big inspiration in motivating me to find a man I can grow with and learn from. I love to be around animals and children. I can also find comfort in presence of elderly people. My aunt gives communion to some people at an assisted living facility. I went along with her last week and the short communications I have from them I'm able to learn so much and get new perspective.
