I am an active Catholic with a passion for God, church, family and work. I am a writer and an English teacher, two things which I am passionate about. I had a first career in journalism (as a newspaper reporter) and I still write newspaper columns; mostly about spirituality. I teach on the high schooI level full-time and I also teach a university English class at nights. I try to attend Mass more than once a week, as well as Adoration once a week, my favorite devotion. I am also active in ACTS. I love reading and learning more about my faith. I keep up with the news and politics and try to be involved in church and community. I aspire to get physically fit (a few extra pounds), and enjoy walking, swimming, camping, reading, movies and being with family. I also make rosaries. I've never been married. I have a grown daughter who is married and I have two beautiful grandchildren. I am looking for someone to get to know as a friend first, and see what happens after that; someone to enjoy going out with and someone to share my faith journey with.

Faith comes first, participating in the sacraments regularly. Woke up a few years ago in my relationship with God and I would say I'm committed to Him and His amazing Church. I'm pretty random with the things I like to do, I wouldn't say I have a hobby because things pop and I'll give it a shot and do my best to go at it fully. Unless I'm tired, I mean that's always tough to pull through. I'm pretty involved with the church community in the county, because I think it's all for Him and although I may be spreading myself pretty thin, but I'm single and that will change when I find a special lady. I like to get things done and I also like to way the next day. I would consider myself pretty simple in enjoying life from going to Adoration, to going on a road trip, camping, hanging out with the family, kicking it with the friends, and I think I can get along with others pretty well whom I don't know, I kinda invite myself to know someone new haha. So, yeah, God's pretty cool and what He has done for us on the cross is beautiful in its own way for our salvation. Hit me up and ask the tough questions if you waaaant. Have a smooth day!

I'm an honest, open and caring person and hope to find the same. I hope to find a caring lady. I'm a simple person yet enjoy special occasions. I am fun loving and a kind person. Having lived all over the SE, South and Midwest US I opted to move to NM a year and a half ago. Retired at 54yo and just pointed my finger at a map and here I am. Ha! Moved from near Kansas City, MO.

I have an 11 year old son who takes priority over any social activity. After that, I enjoy spending quiet time with a few people over large crowds. I am a community volunteer. I am somewhat old fashioned and would like to find a like minded friend. I am originally from Albuquerque, and have been in Southern NM for almost five years.

I am passionate about Jesus Christ and His church. I love to read and study about the church, the saints, and theology. I am also passionate about reading and studying new topics and discussing them. I am a somewhat intellectual type but am also physically active. I enjoy hiking, cross country skiing, snowshoeing, running, ice skating, biking, and virtually anything outdoors. I am active in my parish and have volunteered in the library (currently on hiatus). I also enjoy photography, mostly traditional film. I am working now but am looking forward to retiring soon to have time to pursue these activities. I appear serious at first but have a lighter, playful side that will appear as you get to know me. "Angels can fly because they take themselves lightly."

I've been through more than way too much in my entire lifetime, which has made me an even more spiritual woman as I was born to be a mystic psychic person all my life. ISO of a totally spiritual marriage based on total respect and mutual respect of each other and of God and all our Angels and Spirit Guides as well as all our Saints. Sex is so passe. It is so carnal that it will only come up at very appropriate times much later in our marriage as our focus is on our own spiritual mutualness and our own growth in our needed areas. I'm also an Usui Reiki Master ISO of a person with a similiar field or a medical field or close to that. Someone real who knows the most important things in Life are relating to each other and being totally selfless and not a typical self-absorbed AH like most men have shown themselves to be in my younger years. Male partner must NOT have ADD/ADHD or OCD or any type of anxiety disorder. Must be a totally stable, reliable, secure, a very loving Catholic person and a total animal lover to the fullest. Must be totally respectful of and loving with persons of all disabilities. I'm also a Stroke Survivor, 4 TIAs so I'm much stronger emotionally after all of these experiences plus some specific family experiences which have taught me so much about positive/negative human energies which can bless or interfere with our living processes. Must be a totally positive energy person. NO BS tolerated. Thanks. Professions that are accepted: medical, dental, surgical, legal, business, animal sanctuary type of professions, no cattlemen, no LE officers, no military unless retired. Thanks.

I am passionate about my faith, prophecy, history and current events. I read alot, mostly history, and non-fiction. I enjoy literature and have written poetry when I'm glad or sad. My friends describe me as charismatic. I am an RN and feel very close to my patients, esp. those who have life regrets. I don't like gossip. I love to laugh, hike, bike, take long walks and movies and I try to be joyful but sometimes feel alone. I live 100 miles away from my family. I have two sons, eight grandchildren and enjoy special friends with similar values. My husband died in 1974. I remarried in 2000, but sadly, my new husband was strongly attracted to other women. Most influential in my life was my father, an example of patience, kindness, charity, ...a man who reminded me of St Joseph. Fulton J. Sheen (now being canonized) also influenced my life. I live in Northeastern NM in a small stone cabin, am unable to hike alone (cougar/ bear country). I live a simple quiet life and work part time but am planning to move to Albuq, Pecos or Bernalillo NM where I can attend mass everyday and see my friends/family. I am optimistic usually. I feed stray dogs and have a feral kitty who visits me at night. I love people and sunsets. I used to X-C ski and I felt like I was in a postcard (snow falling in the woods).

I honesty don't know exactly how I feel about this whole online thing. It's not like I haven't messed with it before but it seems like it's a lot of work to even get a conversation going. With that being said that's why I'm here - I'd like to strike up casual conversation only and see where it goes. Truly I'm trying to both maybe distract myself with events in life and also try to move towards something worthwhile - I just expect it takes time to really get to know a person- and it certainly takes two people to drive that conversation. Ultimately I want a family, you know - two people raising kids together- I've never had the chance to really have one since my marriage was an absolute con. I'm not shy about sharing details but it's conversation for another time. With that being said I'm not bitter, I'm just a single mom more upset her boys don't have a father to provide an example of a how a stand-up gentleman behaves. They just have me - and we are a package deal. They are 3 and 6. And if it's possible I want more before I can't. I'm from the Midwest, and would certainly consider moving back. In fact, I'm open to relocation for the right person when the time is right. I'm a teacher with degrees in forestry and land-management, literacy, and secondary education. I work my tail end off teaching HS English and am also a freelance writer to help pay the feed bills around here because I refuse to give up my horses just because it would make things easier as the sole breadwinner. I'm pretty well rounded and feel at home almost anywhere (although I really can't stand living within throwing distance of another house - and since I used to play ball that can be quite a distance). I've worked as a firefighter both volunteer and wildland for 13 years, have helped manage ranches and a feedlot, been a wrangler, worked nights baling hay and hauling for delivery, have broke and trained my own horses (although I'm done coming off youngsters), and have always held a steady, decent paying job. Obviously I'm not afraid to get dirty and being a teacher has had it's perks in that you have to carry a second job in order to survive, but you also get the time to do that each summer - and I've always taken advantage of it. All this detail is so you know I can hold my own and am not looking for somebody to take care of me. Although it would be nice to take care of each other.
