I converted to the Catholic Church in my early 20s and that was one of the best decisions I ever made. (Deo Gratias!) I work as a music teacher and church organist. I love to share my musical knowledge with students and parishioners. For me, making music at church (private practice or playing for liturgies) is a form of prayer. (Clarification: Although I love and prefer the Mass in Extraordinary Form, I attend mostly Novus Ordo Masses on Sundays and during the week for work and logistics reasons.) I used to volunteer in the RCIA program in my parish. It always brings me great joy to encounter people who are preparing to enter the Catholic Church. I am definitely a city girl, having lived in major cities my whole life. But for vacation, I enjoy travelling to cities and rural areas all the same. I enjoy the beach in the summer and the mountains in the spring and fall. I am a loyal and honest person. I tend to be shy and reserved, but I can be fun and humorous when I am with a small group of people I know well.

I am passionate about my life in Christ and the wonderful, mysterious, beautiful world we live in. I love my children with all my heart. I love geology, the concept of deep time, airplanes, the inscrutable mystery of the world and its Creator, and all the love and adventure contained therein. The vibrant experience of life, sacrifice, fellowship in God, and all that a wonderful Catholic life contain deeply appeal to me. I view life as a continuing adventure, a playground for the soul which God has placed us in and which can be a resilient (and challenging) venue for worshipping Him as we move through life, dedicated to living the life He has set aside for us. I am naturally very positive, fun, humorous, hard working, devoted, loyal, and perceptive. More than anything else, I am looking for His partner for me so that we can fulfill the desires that He has placed in us for companionship: unconditional love, commitment, joy, sharing, understanding, family, and dedication to each other. In other words, I am looking for the full experience of the divine ( and of you!) through partnered love and mutual joy! If this sounds like what you are looking for, and you feel an attraction, drop me a line and get me off this website!

I consider myself very caring, sincere and honest. I believe being truthful and open is always the best way to go. I'm a gentleman and hold myself to a high standard of conduct. I am quite romantic as well. I have a great sense of humor. I'm very flexible and enjoy a wide range of activities. I enjoy hiking, camping, boating, as well as more refined activities like visiting museums, vineyards, charity galas and nice restaurants. I'm also fine just staying home and relaxing or having a bbq. My family means everything to me. I grew up with a very large and close family. Many people comment on what an amazing family I have. I agree. I have a sister and brother, and two cousins I grew up with so I count them.

I am a simple man for the most part. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, weight lifting, and gaming. I am passionate about my faith and about practicing medicine. I'm looking forward to a career in primary care, where I hope to perform daily the Works of Mercy. I've had a lot of different experiences in my life that influenced me to become a physician as well as to study the faith. K-12 was Catholic school, then I transitioned to public college run by CUNY. I went to a secular medical school, and found a live for patient care and interaction, which I valued more than work in the research laboratory. I unfortunately left my faith in an act of personal cowardice after certain personal and family tragedies. I strayed from the Church, and lived a life similar to Saint Augustine prior to his conversion. I ultimately returned to the faith after crying out to the Lord in despair. "O God, come to my aid. O Lord, make haste to help me." He did, and He rescued me through the Blessed Mother. I examined the faith carefully, and began to take the time to begin to delve into the spiritual treasure trove that is our faith, and I fell in love. With concomitant shame and joy, the Prodigal Son had returned. This is my greatest experience of all: that I had gone on my own Exodus into Egypt, and the Lord, in His Mercy, descended and rescued me, leading me through desert trial of tribulation and purification. I returned to Rome Sweet Home, and in this, I have the greatest joy.

Hey, I'm Carina. :) Here, like most, for the possibility of finding someone to share this life with. I know that my heart was made for God and I hope to learn to love Him better by living and loving in a good Catholic family. I strongly feel the call to be a wife and mother, raising children in the faith through the example set by my husband and I.

The most important description which I can offer here is that I've always had - and to a healthy degree still maintain - a general aversion to anything in the realm of "online dating." I believe firmly that the pursuit of a sincere, Catholic relationship -with the possibility of developing into a Catholic marriage- should be undertaken with the utmost honesty, respect, and chivalry; anything less simply isn't my style. God only knows how much I yearn for an organically wholesome encounter, akin to the way Chesterton or Belloc first came upon their wives. Online dating has never been my idea of an earnest or heroic courtship; but even I've come to understand (or rather concede) that as Catholics, we're living in a time with unique and unprecedented challenges to marriage, which do demand beyond ordinary action. If marriage is the vocation we ultimately are called to, we have an obligation to rightly utilize the resources which God lays before us. I place entirely all my trust and confidence in the Holy Spirit, and my hope in the hands of the Blessed Mother, if indeed, against the wildest odds, that through her Son I might here find the woman I was meant to give my life for. Yours In Christ, DLD

Well One think I don't like to do is to talk about myself; since this site requires an introduction, I will give it a try. I like to think of myself as a down to earth person, and the rest is a mystery for you to find out.

I love reading (classic fiction, poetry, philosophy, nearly anything); taking time to think and write about life; singing; cooking; yoga; walking in places that are not Times Square; dancing, especially salsa, but I've learned little bit of tango and swing as well; coffee, but not in the afternoon or I'll be up until 3 a.m. and want to stay out dancing all night; I like doing almost anything when I'm with good friends, especially laughing--I do a lot of that.

I'm 29 years old. I like reading, traveling, watching Netflix. I think education is very important. I was educated in a Catholic household and went to a Catholic school. I love animals specially dogs. People say I'm very smart and outgoing but I tend to be serious in person but once you get to know me I'm a very happy and positive person. I would like to get married one day and have kids with a person who I can call my best friend first :)
