I'm passionate about staying active, my health, and being outdoors whether it's playing baseball/softball, hiking, or fishing. I also appreciate culture, good food, music, and art, especially architecture. My catholic faith is a huge part of who I am and I feel it's so important to serve the youth and those in need. Furniture making is another passion that I've continued to pursue since I was really young.
It's not difficult for me to have a conversation with someone. I'm very social, outgoing, enjoy teaching, and try to make people feel comfortable with the situation at hand. I usually spend my weekends volunteering for my parish teen ministry, socializing, being outdoors, enjoying wine, beer, or spending time with good people. Being around people can be really energizing. When it comes to choosing where to go in the evening it all depends on my mood; I'll go to cafe, spend time at a friend's place, enjoy some drinks at a cocktail bar, or go to sports bar to watch a game or two.
I really looked up to my grandfather growing up. He was one of the coolest, funniest, and hardest working persons I've ever known. He was really stubborn but that was the reason why he was able to raise and support a family as an immigrant. His uncanny strength for his age, passion, and uniquely funny and sometimes dirty sense of humor were truly admirable. He was such a great man.
Last year I went through a divorce after 2 years of marriage, and I'm currently going through the annulment process. I never imagined what it would feel like if life just stopped, but when the separation and divorce happened it felt driving 100mph and slamming on the breaks; it was painful. However, it was my strong faith, prayer, and commitment to adoration that helped me through it. I believe there is reason for pain and suffering, and this happening made me much stronger than ever. There is a merciful God who allowed this to happen for me to grow deeper in virtue and seek a greater understanding of my catholic faith and His love. I am grateful for this and and I'm looking forward to whatever God's plan is for me. I'm completely open to talking about it if you want to know more.
