31, Saratoga Springs, NYI would describe most of my life as rather nomadic. I grew up in a Navy family, was born and spent 7 years abroad (Norway, UK, Denmark) growing up. Those experiences, especially in my formative years, have shaped the person I am today. It definitely instilled a sense of "wanderlust" that will never go away; I am always keen for a new adventure. In a desire to somewhat follow in my Dad's footsteps, I attended college at the Massachusetts Maritime Academy and oddly enough(its a maritime school), upon graduation, commissioned as an Army officer (National Guard). After my initial training in Oklahoma, I deployed to the Sinai Peninsula, Egypt for a year as an international peacekeeper with the Multinational Force and Observers peacekeeping mission. It was one of the greatest experiences of my life - and I have some phenomenal stories to tell. On the civilian side, since returning from the Sinai, I have been working mostly in the field of international maritime regulatory compliance (its easier if I explain in person, haha) which has also resulted in some amazing travels. Ok - thats my background. My interests? Global affairs, current events, sports, deep conversations, travel, hiking, exploring, history, new culinary adventures, a good Scotch, microbrews, sporting events, and the list can go on.... If any of this interests you, send me a note!
53, Ballston Spa, NYI believe strongly in my faith and appreciate the strength it gives me. I hope to find someone who shares in the faith and can enjoy our time together. I would like to accomplish more in my life but also just enjoy the simplicity of life. I have been impressed with the profiles I have read and have decided to join and hopefully find that person that will allow me to be part of her life and vice versa. To best describe myself, hopefully :), I have used the following categories. may seem a bit much but here it goes. Spiritually - I feel a great divine presence while attending daily/weekly mass. It is a beautiful feeling that I am sure a lot of parishioners feel while attending mass, as well. The gospel and many times the homily evoke great emotion when our Lord's name is mentioned and the great example he set while on earth. He gave us the blueprint for a happy life and I am thankful to be able to have these overwhelming feelings. I exercise daily and the rosary is part of my exercise routine to keep me motivated and connected to all facets of my being. Emotionally - As stated above, I have been able to be in touch with my emotions and try to strengthen myself through these moments of clarity. In addition, i have done self improvement work for the past 10 years. I view it as a recovery process, although not from drugs or alcohol, but through understanding of my early childhood development and my family of origin. I have always appeared happy to my family, friends and acquaintances but I knew I could be happier. I have come a long way and will always look to improve on my emotional state. Physically - I am very active and jog/run approximately 4-8 miles daily and also use a bowflex/free weights. I consider myself in physically fit shape - the reason being that i want to have a strong quality of life. Psychologically - I stay active because i want to be healthy and active in my golden years and feel good about my future and enjoy each day to the fullest. I apologize for using "I" a lot but not sure how else to describe myself. I enjoy creatively writing as well as watercolor painting so hopefully I can get better at this process. Thank you for reading my profile.

50, Slingerlands, NYI am very passionate about life and want to share it with someone very special. I believe being able to share the gift of the Catholic faith, and keeping God at the center of one's life always, is essential to having rewarding and lasting relationships.I am very family oriented and love kids. I have two terrific teenage boys. I have always been a hands on mom, and we enjoy a very close and loving relationship. I am hard working and goal oriented, yet I am very easy going and carefree. I believe it's important to have a good balance in life. I enjoy being social, and being flexible is the key to enjoying newer and greater experiences. I love to laugh and to make others laugh. I love sports; both playing them and watching them. Both of my boys have always been very active in sports. I enjoy going to their games and seeing them develop into the fine athletes that they have become. My favorite sport is football. I am a huge Washington Redskin fan.( stop laughing !!) I guess there's your proof of my sense of loyalty. ; ) Sports brings out the competitive nature in me. I really enjoy learning. The learning process never ends. I appreciate, very much, someone who shares their knowledge and intellect, whether it's an article they recently read, learning how things work, and most importantly learning more about God.I am looking for my best friend. Someone who appreciates even the simple things in life, such as holding hands while taking a walk or a beautiful sunset. I am looking forward to sharing life's greatest moments with my partner as well as to share in life's more challenging times. I can't wait to discover everything about my best friend; their likes and dislikes.
32, East Greenbush, NYHi, my name is Dennis. I recently moved up into the Albany area from down state and am looking to meet new people. I work as a scientist in a pharmaceutical company and outside of work I like exploring different things the area has to offer like hiking, seeing some of the historical attraction and checking out restaurants around here. One of the best restaurants I've been to is Rain Modern Chinese on Lark Street in Albany, the food was delicious. Some things that are important to me are family, friends and giving back to the community. I like to volunteer at different places to help some of the less fortunate in society, for example I used to volunteer at a nursing home down state to run a bingo night for the residents and visit some of the residents that didn't have many visitors. I also love dogs.
