48, Lake Placid, NYSome essential characteristics I am drawn to in others... Communication: It's open and easy. There is an overlap of ideas and an exciting exchange of words and laughter; we talk about both serious and silly stuff. A living faith: a sense that our behaviors and thoughts at every moment of the day are prayers, living testimony to our beliefs and our desire to do what is right and good. Church is not the only place we meet God. Honesty: You dislike hypocrisy and lies, and seek the truth even it is difficult or unpleasant. A sense of culture: you appreciate technology but are not tethered to it; heritage of people and places in small doses is enjoyable. Camaraderie: You can help me grow in faith and love of life, accepting what can not be changed and forging new paths through struggles...... If we can find these things in each other, many other good things should follow: we'll be good with kids and elderly; know how to balance work and play; enjoy nature and art; and will help guide each other towards heaven. P.S. About contraception: If I was 25 meeting "Mr. Right," I'd be all for only NFP. My concern is with regards to change of life irregularities affecting NFP, and the risk of childhood abnormalities with a first pregnancy late in life. I know we are supposed to be open to whatever God sends our way, but I also feel it is somewhat irresponsible to have sexual relations in your 40's and not recognize the increased risk of Downs, etc. and then if I we had a Down's child pass this off as "it must be God's will." In a funny way I ask maybe it was God's will to not have sex! ;) Not easy issues. We have to be realistic, discuss this, and then take responsibilities for our actions and consequences.
26, Watertown, NYIf I had to sum up what I'm all about, I suppose I'd say I believe in the value hardwork, whether in the workplace, at home, or with friendships. Counting on others while being counted on is what life is all about. On a lighter note, I like hiking and long drives through the country, target shooting, running and karaoke. It's tough to summarize everything, so if have a question just ask!
25, Watertown, NYI'm an army officer at Fort Drum. I try to be devout, I attend weekly Mass, plus holy days of obligation. Most of my hobbies are outdoor related (hunting, hiking, canoeing, etc.) I'm a family man at heart, but don't get to see them a lot due to distance. More to follow.
22, Lake Placid, NYI am a graduate of Berklee College of Music, so needless to say music is my main passion. I write, perform, record, and mix music on a daily basis. I also love to hike, ski, run, swim, camp and do just about anything outdoors. I really look up to my parents in life, they have given me a solid example of a good Catholic family growing up. In the summers I work at a Catholic camp for teens and it is easily my favorite part of every year.
46, Winthrop, NYHi! If you like adventure, spontaneity, and living life to the fullest, I'm the girl for you! You must love family, to love and laugh. And you must love animals!
23, Ogdensburg, NYCreative writing has been one of my passions since high school. My stories are me having adventures with my favorite characters from my favorite movies, books, TV shows and video games. I enjoy watching sports especially football and baseball and am a huge Baltimore Ravens fan.Another passion I have is watching old movies, including those with Spencer Tracy in them. My mom and grandma got me into watching classic old movies as they watch them from time to time. During my leisure time, I play my video game collection and collect trading cards. I've been a gamer for a long time. Reading is another interest of mine, there are specfic genres i like such as magic, fantasy, and adventure. One of the main reasons why I am on Catholic Match is because I want to find a lovable, fun loving, trusting, gentleman whom I can be loyal to and love dearly with all my heart and soul. I'll defend him and protect my one and only with everything I've got. Believe it.

26, Watertown, NYHey y'all. I'm a dentist for the United States Army currently stationed in upstate New York. Right now I'm just getting used to life outside of school and looking forward to whatever the future brings.
28, Natural Bridge, NYI grew up Catholic in a small town (population 365). I am currently in the Army Reserves as a first lieutenant but will be probably getting out soon to move down a different career path. I love animals and the outdoors which includes hunting, fishing, hiking, camping, ATV's, farming, landscaping, boating, snowmobiling, and many other things. I also love movies, either going to the theaters or watching them at home. I also love my home area which is the foothills of the Adirondacks. I love to be creative and build things, not necessarily for myself but for others to appreciate. I also love to appreciate other peoples talents. I am currently trying to attempt playing the piano and writing an epic fantasy novel. I want to eventually write biographical fiction about a few of my favorite saints. I am not the greatest writer but I figure if I keep at it I may come up with something that won't bore too many people...lol. I am also in the local Fire/ Ambulance Department where I am learning to become an EMT. I like to tell people that I will be a nurse on wheels.

68, Putnam Station, NYWell, I had finished introducing myself, had to go to another site and when I returned here all that I had written were gone. So now an abbreviated version: I was actually writing this from my booth at a craft fair, so it's safe to assume that I'm "crafty". I love horses and horse back riding and have toyed with the idea of leasing a horse (yes, you really can lease a horse-lol). I enjoy murder mystery novels such as written by Patterson and Agatha Christie. My all time favorite DVD is Murder on the Orient Express (Christie). I also tutor for the Literacy Volunteers and I am in 2 choirs - one in my church. I enjoy traveling. Now that I am retired I have plenty of leisure time, but travel is restricted by a limited budget (bummer). I love the beauty and serenity of the Adirondacks or what we call "the north country". The disadvantage is that everything such as stores are so far away. For example, for me to get a quart of milk, it's a 20 mile round trip!
