I always find it a bit hard to do these 'introduce yourself' kind of things. I am a full-time MBA student (West Coast transplant) who worked in county government previously. I am a friendly, easy going, and drama free guy who enjoys good company, good food, good beer, and good books. Faith and family are priorities in my life.

I live for enjoyment of life. I am a rabid music lover . . . I enjoy various formats of music . . . when I'm driving my truck I have AM, FM, XM and a 6-disc CD player. And when I'm at Mass on Sunday or Holyday of Obligation, I join in with those in the congregation who are singing. It's amazing that songs that I sang in Catholic school are still being utilized today. Just before I graduated from high school, I was offered a part-time radio on weekends. It was a blast, and it still is today. It doesn't pay much when you work part-time . . . that first job paid $2.50/hr (in 1971 dollars) - all the government got from those checks was Social Security - all of 78 cents every week! Yes, I still work in radio because it's still fun. I DO have a full-time in transportation, as well as hosting parties and wedding receptions. Yes, more fun! And more than the radio station pays me. As I mentioned, I'm a "touchy-feely" guy, I LOVE affection and I love to give it too. When I met my wife back I found that she was the same, very warm and cuddly. I loved her hugs. I miss them so much. She, sadly, passed away in 2015, removed from my life by that devil that has no symptoms, CANCER of the liver. She was so much fun to be with. But, she is much closer to our Savior. Unfortunately, I am back living alone. Needless to say, the only fun I have is doing my radio show on Sunday afternoons. All the potential dates I've met are opportunists - either they think I'm a millionaire, or they always want me to drive them all over the place. So it's not too healthy for me to date. So I'm attempting to find a delightful, sober, happy, and a fun lover. I'd like someone who smiles a lot, a LADY who won't crumble after a good, firm hug. Race is no barrier, the only race I haven't dated is an Asian - so don't be afraid. If you have babies, no problem - I love 'em. Don't be shy; just be yourself, just have a delightful demeanor, and we'll get along. Thank you for your time. Mike Oh yeah, there are only two members of my blood family left, but they're not here.

I was born into a Catholic family and at the age of 17, had decided that the Catholic Church was indeed the spiritual home for me. I love the church and think it's great to be able to ask questions about doctrines or dogmas in the church. So far, my faith has only grown stronger even when I've gotten answers that have been challenging to accept. Although I was born in Canada, I spent my formative years in Nigeria. In my spare time, I catch up on local and world events, watch murder mysteries (I love British murder myateries), listen to music, go to the theater and hang out with friends. I've recently taken up hiking and hope to try out a couple of winter activities in the winter, time permitting. I am almost always up for a spontaneous day trip. I hope you don't find this as awkward to read as it felt writing it. I'll be happy to answer any questions you have and look forward to getting to know you.
