61, Rochester, NYHi, I'm Ginny. God is good. Life is interesting. I'm content. But I am looking around to see if God has a man in mind for me to love. I grew up in a family of 8 kids with an Irish/Catholic mother and a Scots/Protestant father. Mom taught me to be gracious, loving, patient and generous. She taught me how to change cloth diapers, and never to hold a baby away from myself even when he's spitting up. She taught me to cook by giving me free rein in the kitchen. It was from Mom that I learned home nursing because, "Dying is hard enough, no one should have to do it alone." In this family, we always take care of our own. She also encouraged me to drive a little faster than the speed limit on country back roads when we were running late. My Dad taught me to be fearless but not foolish. He convinced me that whatever I have is enough, I just have to be smart about spending it. He taught me to drive safely, "Slow down! I don't want to pay for any tickets." He's the most honest man I know; I try to match his integrity. Dad raised me to believe that I can do whatever needs doing, even if it means using a pair of pliers to pull a bent broken needle out of my screaming child's foot... and then, once the crisis is over, to find a private spot to throw up or faint. There are lots of people in my life; parents, siblings, children and even grandchildren. I've raised my own 5 children and now have the privilege of helping my father. Mom passed peacefully at home. She was anointed on Monday, stepped into eternity on Thursday. I had just prayed over her; Dad was holding her hand. Did I mention God is good? I was divorced after 25 years of marriage, but God has been gracious every step of the way. The declaration of nullity granted more than 10 years ago means I am free to marry in the Church. I don't really know if God has another husband in His plans for my future, but I do know it would take an exceptional man for me to give up the autonomy I've found. He'd need a healthy sense of humor to cope with me. Integrity and a strong faith in God are absolutely necessary. Bonus points for fishing skills, intelligence and dog-friendliness. So, who are you?

I love to travel, read, listen to music, be outdoors when upstate NY's weather cooperates, going to the Y, and hanging out with my friends. I love to laugh and making others laugh-after all, laughter is the best medicine. :)
70, East Rochester, NYI am semi-retired and own my own business. I enjoy spending quality time with friends and family. I I golf, bowl and watch sports and business on TV. I am interested in finding a person with whom I can share time and who especially enjoys traveling. However, I think a strong and sustained relationship allows for some individual time. Religion is important to me and I try to reach a deeper faith especially as I am now a "senior". Being mostly retired, I enjoy doing some volunteering and am open to giving time to helping those in their times of need.

37, Horseheads, NYHi! My name is Nicole, but all my close friends call me Nikki. Faith and family are number one in my life. I have been very blessed to be the Godmother of six amazing kids. My first is my cousin who turned 20 last summer. I became his Godmother when I was 17, time sure flies! My second is my cousins daughter who just turned 8 this fall. And my last four are my heart and soul. They are my nieces (age 5, 4, 3, and 2). They are my life as you can tell from some of my pictures. A couple of things I can cross of my bucket list are: climbing Dun River Falls in Ochos Rios, Jamaica, shopping till I drop in New York City, participating in a Las Vegas show, line dancing in Tampa, seeing the Opera in Toronto, dipping my toes in both the Atlantic and Pacific, dancing and singing karaoke, and seeing my favorite music groups live in concert! Anyways, a little about me: I am mostly Italian with some Irish/Polish mixed in. I enjoy a wide range of activities from getting lost in a good book, lounging in the sun at Seneca Lake, shopping in Buffalo/Rochester, to getting in the car and just cranking up the stereo and listening to my favorite songs! Really though, I think fun comes from who you are with rather than what you are doing. Good company can make what would have been a mundane experience a great time. I look forward to seeing what the future will bring with the right person and am optimistic that I will find that someone special! Could that be you?
29, Henrietta, NYHello, I am a nice person that is quiet. I have a good sense of humor. I enjoy traveling and experiencing other cultures. I look forward to a fulfilling life with my future spouse.
50, Penfield, NYHi. I am an empty nester with 2 great college age kids who are nearby but busy. I work fulltime half of the year, and part time from spring till fall. I am a pretty out going person when it comes to meeting people and talking. You would not call me shy, but I do not like being the "center of attention". I can golf, a little, but only enjoy 9 holes and I am currently out of practice. I do like going to live sports games, and like going to the movies, festivals, canal days, concerts, most music events and such. I would like to be out and about on the weekends with someone, enjoying the events and seeing what the area has to offer. I would love to go camping - I look forward to owning my own little RV someday. My mom and aunt were very influential in my life, especially in regards to my faith. It is because of them that I reconnected to the church in my late 20s, and because of life that I know I need God on a daily basis. I am looking forward to meeting someone I can share my interests with.
46, Macedon, NYPassionate about:Treat others well, and expect to be treated well...settle for nothing less. Not an option. Look forward to the most: To be honest, I look forward to my coffee each morning....the simple things. Most influential experiences/people: continue reading My whole life I have wanted to understand things....be it how something works, how it goes together, how it stays together, why it works the way it does...I am inquisitive and like to learn. I like to know why someone acts the way they do, or what they feel and why....so that I can share in their perspective (without being yelled at or received as being critical). Over the years I have come to the realization that many people aren't wired this way.....so, when I want to understand how someone feels...they don't always want to share that, nor would they even think to and better yet...they think I am strange to even care. I grew up with a mother who is a nurse, a younger sister, and a dad who owned businesses....so I learned to be compassionate, ask questions, be responsible, take care of others, be logical, apply yourself, go out and be me in the world and appreciate others for who they are. Divorce and Annulment have influenced me greatly. These processes have shown me how to really look inward, look at my footprints, see my piece of the puzzle, and own it. I would not be the person I am now, had I not been open to learning about myself, open to visualizing how I impact the world around me and fully accepting that I cannot fix everything nor make someone feel or act a certain way. I have learned to take my analytical brain...slow it down a bit...just be present for life's moments and love the people who want to be in my life.
