31, Geneseo, NYI am blessed to have a job as a violin professor at a SUNY college, and music is one of the most important parts of my life (and has been for a long time!). I am somewhat reserved and shy until I am comfortable around someone, then it is easy for me to open up and be myself. People say I'm a dork, but that doesn't really bother me! It has been difficult to find someone who shares my faith, and I am hoping that this site will change that.

With most of my family scattered through New England, its great to be closer to them. I enjoy my work, but try not to take it home with me. I hope to find someone to share life's little adventures with and perhaps start a family. I love the outdoors, but other interests include martial arts, working with/training my dog in dogsports, as well as movies and books (mostly science fiction).
67, Newark, NYA passion in my life has to do with saveing animals. To me, they are truely a gift of god. We as a society should give them the upmost care to survive in everyday life. In return they always give us lots of love, for god is love. My mom and dad were so influential on me. They brought me up well, instilling in me right from wrong, loveing thy neighbor and being the best person i can be. . My leisure time consists of a lot of gardening, mowing the lawn and home decorateing.
26, Rochester, NYI like movies, trying new foods, and going on little adventures. Road trips are a constant in my life from visiting family, friends, or amusement parks, so I need a good car companion who likes long drives. Music and singing is how I like to relax so I play a bit of ukulele, guitar, and piano occasionally. As I'm writing this, I'm a bit new to the area so I'm still figuring out how to get involved in my new parish and finding opportunities to volunteer, meet people, and understand my calling here. Contact me if you want to go on an adventure sometime.
34, Rochester, NYI was born into a Catholic family and at the age of 17, had decided that the Catholic Church was indeed the spiritual home for me. I love the church and think it's great to be able to ask questions about doctrines or dogmas in the church. So far, my faith has only grown stronger even when I've gotten answers that have been challenging to accept. Although I was born in Canada, I spent my formative years in Nigeria. In my spare time, I catch up on local and world events, watch murder mysteries (I love British murder myateries), listen to music, go to the theater and hang out with friends. I've recently taken up hiking and hope to try out a couple of winter activities in the winter, time permitting. I am almost always up for a spontaneous day trip. I hope you don't find this as awkward to read as it felt writing it. I'll be happy to answer any questions you have and look forward to getting to know you.
41, East Rochester, NYI'm a mom of two and I'm always making something. I cook, knit, write, garden, etc. I would love to learn to fish and hunt. I'm a crunchy granola type in a lot of ways. I did the whole attachment parenting thing (loved it!), raised chickens and ducks, made jelly, lots of fun stuff. I used to homeschool my kids, which was crazy and fun. Like the homesteading, I miss it. That was work that felt important to me and always brought me joy. I still teach writing to homeschool students. I also tutor and work as a customer service representative. When it comes to music, TV, movies, etc. I like the smart and quirky. I have a history of watching murder mysteries like Bones, reading classic literature like Jane Eyre, and avoiding reality television. I enjoy the kinds of board games that get awards in Germany and have a bunch of expansions. My idea of a great party is maybe ten people around a table with some good food and some games. I enjoy the occasional big party, night on the town, whatever, but my normal speed is quieter and more intimate.

Pets are fine. Although I can't stand pet hair all over my clothes, go figure. I find fun and beauty in all four seasons. I enjoy learning new things. I enjoy relaxing too.
