71, Binghamton, NYpleased to meet you! ,,, me ? Retired and active. Five children grown up and on their own. Six grandchildren. I enjoy travel, warm weather, hiking, biking, running, camping, beaches, gardening, cooking, regular workouts and a healthy diet. Sharing Mass with you on Sunday and Holy Days is important to me as are holiday traditions. I believe through our faith, together we can search for happiness by a willingness to share our deepest hopes, dreams and desires. We are not perfect and I understand the effort we make to love and support each other can easily become a joy. Yes, I am searching for a serious partner.
62, Binghamton, NYI am new to this, so I am unsure of what I should write. I am a good person who respects the rights of others. I am seeking friendships that could blossom into something more serious. I think these dissertations are OK, but the best way to meet people is to talk with them on the phone or maybe go on a date - like dinner at a place of their choosing.

60, Utica, NYI am a healer and a traveler and I am seeking someone who shares my beliefs and values to continue on this journey with me. Join me in creating new and wonderful memories together. I have family living throughout the United States and Italy and I would love for a companion to travel with me and experience the marvels that the good Lord has created. By profession I am a nurse and am inspired by taking care of others more so than how much I am compensated. At the same time, I would love for someone who is interested in caring for me as I would care for him. I have become a student of healing oils and will share more about this with you at the right time. I have been using essential oils for health and healing. Oils are mentioned over 400 times in the Bible. I have always "bloomed where I was planted". I do enjoy the finer things in life but you would not find me so demanding that materialism would dominate our relationship. In order for you to know more about who I amyou should know that I have been in health care for 4 decades. I began volunteering in 1970 as a teen to help others. Worked my way up from Candy Striper, nurses aid, LPN, RN. I went to a Catholic high school for girls and earned my nursing diploma in upstate New York. I was a young widow having been married to my husband for 26+ years. We had four children and one grandchild. My faith has sustained me. I believe in the sacrament of Holy Matrimony and I would not rule out getting married again to the right man. I was blessed to be able to spend time and care for my parents during their final years on earth and have a close and loving relationship with my two brothers and four sisters. I follow the Golden Rule. I enjoy teaching and sharing. I love the outdoors and I really enjoy live theater. Our God is an awesome God. I try daily to keep focused on the eternal prize. My brightest asset is that I care and want someone to share and care about.
64, Syracuse, NY"Many on this site use the life proven analogy of "glass half full vs glass half empty" as metaphor for their outlook on life, which I find amazingly true. Every day, I find myself blessed and I tend to have a glass that is full. But there are times when my glass is half full, because I crossed paths with someone whose glass was empty..... "If you find that you are the same person at the age of 50, that you were at the age of 25, then you just wasted 25 years" - Mohammed Ali How do we measure our lives? What yardstick do you use?? For me, the yardstick I have used over the past 10 years is visibly different from the one I used early on in my life. My life has unfolded as a journey of continual learning and growth... about myself! I think we would all agree, that the biggest challenges in our lives have been the catalysts for the greatest positive change. While I did not welcome my divorce after 29 years of marriage, (13 years ago) I know that I would not be where I am today (emotionally and spiritually) if my journey hadn't unfolded as it did ... and other disappointments in my life have turned out to produce the richest fruits. My journey to becoming a RN in March, 2016, was ( I believe) an outcome of one of those "disappointments", and provides me with a daily opportunity to let those who are under my care, (I am an oncology nurse) know that they truly matter....that they are loved... after all, Love is what matters. I am not only referring to the intimate and deep love that we reserve for that special person in our lives, but the love for our fellow human being...for those who cross our paths, if but only for a moment. Following is a quote that speaks of the person I person I try to be, each and every day. "Love is the only answer to every question. It is the only thing that will serve you in every situation. It is the route, and the destination. It is medication, liberation and should be at the heart of and expression or your vocation" - Rasheed Ogunlaru Perhaps, humanity is my vocation. At this point in my life I try not to look for "answers", rather to just live in the moment, accept what comes my way and do my best to leave the people I meet, in a brighter, sunnier and more hopeful frame of mind, after our encounter. While I am very willing to share the gifts I have been given... it is an amazing transformation when I have somehow been a catalyst that allows others to see the gifts that they, themselves possess.

64, Endicott, NYNew to NY and know few people. I'm looking to meet someone nice for friendship, companionship, and whatever may or may not come from that I have lots of interests, like reading, movies, camping, hockey (watching, not playing) Like music, Bach to Metallica and most stuff in between. I love to paint, write, walk, and travel. Widowed six years ago and now have retired from 40 years as a professional. My faith is very important to me and while I'm not a fanatic, It's important that I attend Mass and having a friend to go with would be nice. I lov traveling to Qubec, Montral, mostly to practice my French and Mexico to work on my Spanish. One of these dans I'd like to try them out in Europe.
67, Chittenango, NYI am passionate about helping others that are less fortunate and trying to lead a Christ centered lifestyle. The people that have been most influential to me have been the Good Lord, my parents and some high character, kind and caring friends. I am a dog lover and have two beautiful Brittany spaniels. I like to fish, camp, hunt and do other activities. But I also enjoy going out to dinner, quiet walks, sitting on the front porch visiting, going to an occasional show and probably most important listening to whomever I am with and trying to understand and respect their point of view. I think I am a very good listener and enjoy conversing with others. I also am very old school believing that a person is as good as their word and that a commitment should be a commitment, all in. Finally, I am learning more and more to appreciate all the blessings we have and to enjoy the beautiful world God created for us.
66, Marcy, NYI am Melanie. I also go by the nickname of Lanie. I have been widowed for a number of years and would like to meet someone to spend some quality time with and get to know them. I am more than what I have written. I am happy to share who and what i am if you are interested in getting to know me.
