82, West Babylon, NYMy main hobby is writing plays. Through a writing group I belong to in Manhattan, I have had showcase productions of 3 of my plays. I also enjoy going to see off-broadway plays in Manhattan. I like fishing, walking on the beach, walks aroung the neighborhood, and occasional dancing. While at home, I enjoy watching a good mystery on TV. I also like to travel. I was happily married for 43 years and have been a widower for 4 years. I spend alot of time with my 14 year old grandson (he shares my sweet tooth). People tell me I have a dry wit.

58, Utica, NYHello there! It's officially Spring on the calendar but no one told the weather man up here. Three feet of the white stuff (really?) and now we are thawing out again. Rumors are that Spring may try again. So those robins may be back and I am really looking forward to daffodils and snowdrops. That yellow orb thing in the sky should come out any day.... :) (Send pictures) Trying to explain what I am passionate about? Does chocolate count? Only kidding! So many things. I get excited about great art, babies make me smile, a good book that I can't put down. A fabulous burger, and ok. yes, good chocolate. A sentimental commercial on TV that I always cry when I see it I also get deep satisfaction about my faith. Its not something I may go on and on about but its the core of my existence and something I take seriously and rely on a lot. The most influential people in my life were my parents. Both gone now but they gave me a a solid background of hard-work, education and faith. They worked hard to get where they were and they had dreams and expectations for all of us kids. I am so appreciative of the love and support that I received from them growing up. I live in a small urban city in Central NY. Kind of small, kind of rural-ish. Kind of laid back but has all of the urban issues of a big city. Especially no Starbucks!!! (can you imagine -the horror! lol ) I have a great porch with huge trees, with some interesting wild life (skunks, raccoons, groundhogs, rabbits, a zillion squirrels and the birds are amazing). It really nice to come home, open windows and hear birds serenading you outside your window, see rabbits running across lawns as you walk to work. That idyllic scene is always broken by the cars speeding down my street like there was no tomorrow! I try to be a positive, faith-filled person. I lean on GOD for everything. I try to be caring, nurturing, and there for my family, friends and others. I am quiet with my faith meaning I dont live it loudly or publicly. I volunteer for several charities that have special meaning to me (Relay for Life (Cancer) and Hospice as well as help with my parish's activities as needed. Can I make you laugh? I don't know but it would be fun to try. Will you make me laugh -- I will have to find out.. (I am curious now ) I can go on about hobbies, my cooking abilities (should I mention a terrific chocolate brownie?. LOL Hope I have tempted to you find out more...
25, New York, NYI like to describe myself as an "extroverted introvert." I love to hang out with friends and family, but I also enjoy that important "quiet time!" ;) I love to keep busy and work hard. To me being tired at the end of the day is the best accomplishment! I love anything to do with the outdoors (I think my love for the outdoors came from growing up in a farm). Keeping active is a big part of my life lately and I'm currently starting to train for a half marathon and a tough mudder! My pup, Duke and I enjoy running together! I'm the oldest of 6 and I have loved every minute of having a big family! Kids are a blessing and I tend to "adopt" all my friends kids as my nieces and nephew! I love to go out and meet up with friends or stay in and curl up in the couch with a good book.
63, Oakdale, NYHello, My name is Michael I love the ocean and the beach , I look forward to spending time in the water and getting a tan. Scuba diving is fun. I like to do research about historical places and historical technologies, figuring out how they did what they and writing about it. I like to go to the gym at least twice a week and work out. I think the people that influenced me the most are the people from my college, but one of the biggest influences in my life was visiting Europe and the Mediterranean. I visited many of the sights that are points of interest to tourists, visiting six ports of call in six countries from a cruse ship. I enjoy charity work and I am an avid model railroader, building my own model railroad working on various projects. I belong to a fellowship of people who enjoy trains as well.

64, Endicott, NYI am seeking the companionship of a kind Catholic man who shares my beliefs, but not necessarily all my likes and dislikes (that would be entirely too dull). I am a professional woman who has been to many places and experienced many things, but my love of adventure is not yet satisfied and I seek someone who is willing to explore what is out there. I enjoy travel, foreign films, and the arts, but am also an avid Hockey fan and love classic rock and metal music. I paint, sing in the church choir, and have authored several books. I am not seeking someone who is like me, but I am seeking someone who complements me and whose interests will broaden my horizons.
