I am an outgoing female who is dedicated to her Catholic faith. I am a first grade teacher and I greatly enjoy working with children. I have a good work ethic and I strive everyday to be the best person I can with the help of God. I use the footsteps of Jesus Christ as my guide. The young children I work with help me to enjoy life and to realize that life is too short to worry about the little things. I enjoy a wide variety of activities and I am active in my parish. Some parish activities I am involved in are being an Extraordinary Minister of the Eucharist, and I teach faith formation as a catechetical volunteer on Sundays. I also do some volunteer work with the Sisters of Life- a pro-life mission to help unwed mothers. As mentioned above I am a very sociable and outgoing person who has a great sense of humor and love to make people laugh. I am an excellent listener and I enjoy helping those who are less fortunate. I enjoy engaging in a wide variety of activities and I try to have a good time no matter what I am involved in. Lastly, I try to enjoy each day and live life to the absolute fullest because life is truly a gift from God.

Are you different? Banished television from your life? Like to dress up? Like Latin? Read on. I've been praying for a loving wife for around 20 years. I promise that I will put the same amount of tenacious effort into a marriage as I have put into finding a wife who won't think I'm crazy. I long for a modest, old-fashioned, traditional lady; a special lady who needs a loving husband to walk with her on the challenging road to heaven. Imagine a loving, faith-filled home, where the homeschooled children sit in the living room reading the Bible that is kept on a stand there, and mother and father teach their children to respect one another through their example to each other. That was my dream, a mission which I had hoped to share with a warm-hearted lady, but barring a miracle, it is probably too late for that for me, and the Cubs will probably win the World Series before that happens. I still pray for a sweet, warm-hearted, feminine lady who would keep me company and be tickled pink to wear pretty dresses for me just because she loved me. Perhaps you're one of the unclaimed prizes in the lottery of life; I'd like to be your prize. Come; join me on the road to heaven-- I will be the happiest gentleman on Earth, and I will do my best to make you the happiest lady on Earth!

I am finishing up my year-long contract in Hong Kong and look forward to returning permanently to the United States. Living in Hong Kong gave me some great experiences: celebrating the Lunar New Year and seeing the fireworks, living on my own (and being the only foreigner in my building), and learning how to patiently and effectively deal with children are among them. Sometimes I have forgotten that I am a white foreigner among all the locals. But teaching and English aren't my real passions. My real passions are the sciences, especially earth sciences. Stargazing, studying fossils, tracking earthquakes, and most of all, tracking severe weather, are things I enjoy doing. Learning is a lifelong activity, and we live in a fascinating world. I am even more passionate about my faith. I try to self-reflect every day and think of ways I can improve overall as a human being; I often think of Matthew Kelly's advice to be the-best-version-of-myself. I am an introvert by nature, so sometimes that prevents me from being a better Christian. I heavily believe in self-improvement, and there are some things regarding my personality and character that I have made progress on over the years. Besides wanting to meet the right man to marry, I want to be the right woman to marry. I am steadily working on my finances and emotional health so I can be a good wife and mother that that special man in my life will feel blessed to have. And when I say finances, I mean my student loan debt. My credit score is good; I just don't want to bring in a lot of debt into a marriage. In order to make myself more marriage-worthy, I will probably go back to school for one or two years to learn a new skill that will get me a better job. After two trips overseas to teach English, I am quite tired of both living abroad and teaching just to make money, so I am emotionally and mentally ready to settle down. I look forward to a happy marriage from which children will come.

Ladies, who wouldn't walk a million miles for one of those smiles after viewing your pics and your heart in those profiles? Though my profile does not serve the bigger, cheerful, fun to be with guy side of my personality justice, I reserve that side of me for you once we begin communicating. My profile is straightforward, and it's meant to be if we're meant to be. My additional pluses and personality go far further than just what's written here and I'd love to share that side of me with you. Romance and intimacy is one thing, but I don't go all the way unless I'm married. If a person values sex more than a commitment under God first, do you really think you're getting the best of a person's love? It's the love in the heart, the touch of the hand, the look in the eyes, and true smile on a person's face that's the rewarding place. There aren't too many people who feel comfortable reading something like I wrote. Honestly, and this may sound strange, but I care more about all of you out there than even dating. What I wrote is the big part of me who hopes people make the right choices even if against the norm. You know, I compare it to heart surgery. Surgery is painful and people are uncomfortable with pain, but it's all part of getting better. If surgery is going to help someone see more clearly, it's worth it. If surgery will help someone's heart be stronger, it's worth it. I'm sorry for those of you who are divorced or alone. That's never easy. Just keep going to church and spending quantity and quality time with your children, God, and family. Just like physical exercise is exercise for the body, prayer God and family are the exercise routine for the heart and soul. If I could sum up my profile, directing it toward the priority of building a great friendship and great relationship as the first and foremost prerequisite, I would reiterate what my profile already states along with focusing on the first virtue St. Paul says love is. The first imperative virtue St. Paul states about love in his famous letter in 1Cor chapter 13 is: Love is patient...... I'd also sum it up this way and hope you recognize where friendship and trust is, the rest is sure to follow. Take your time in your search and keep an eye open for us good ol' Christian boys! Rumor has it, we're the way to go.

Hi there my name's Nathan. A friend suggested I give this site a try so here I am! I'm a pretty mellow guy. I love spending time with my family, jokes, action movies and computers. I enjoy reading and sketching and I also enjoy spending time outdoors, especially when running or practicing archery. I also like to tinker with tools and machines, mostly as a hobby. I've lived in NY pretty much all my life and am currently in the Capital District where I work as a Starbucks Manager. Looking forward to meeting lots of folks on this site.
  • Sue, 68 from Putnam Station, NY

Well, I had finished introducing myself, had to go to another site and when I returned here all that I had written were gone. So now an abbreviated version: I was actually writing this from my booth at a craft fair, so it's safe to assume that I'm "crafty". I love horses and horse back riding and have toyed with the idea of leasing a horse (yes, you really can lease a horse-lol). I enjoy murder mystery novels such as written by Patterson and Agatha Christie. My all time favorite DVD is Murder on the Orient Express (Christie). I also tutor for the Literacy Volunteers and I am in 2 choirs - one in my church. I enjoy traveling. Now that I am retired I have plenty of leisure time, but travel is restricted by a limited budget (bummer). I love the beauty and serenity of the Adirondacks or what we call "the north country". The disadvantage is that everything such as stores are so far away. For example, for me to get a quart of milk, it's a 20 mile round trip!

  • Dawn, 48 from New York, NY
    48, New York, NY
I should start off by saying I chose my catholic faith in my 20's and read the Bible every day. I try to attend church weekly. I do volunteer work and try to stay faithful to the lord. I fo not believe in divorce, so it's why i chose to be picky when dating. On a personal side, I love deep conversation and am kind if old fashioned(slightly) in my thinking. I am a girlie girl. I am not into sports. I love animals, humor, movies, travel, seeing historical mansions, throwing small parties, getting family and friends together. I have 2 small dogs and a bunny. I love and miss being in a relationship. I like someone, need someone who is mature and communicative and likes to talk. I am not into clubs or bars, although I like a nice glass of wine here and there and love to dance. Smoking drunks and having drinkers are not for me. If you are interested in me I ask that you please be ready for conversation I'm not just looking for someone to text with. I pray I can meet a great man who is GOD fearing and GOD loving.
