39, New York, NYHi! I am a 31-year old guy who works in midtown and lives in the upper east. I came to NYC two years and a half ago and I love the city; it never stops offering new spots to explore, and my curiosity about it never faded. Despite this, I enjoy traveling as well and explore different places and cultures. This passion of mine brought me to start learning Cantonese, and I adore every bit of it! Music is another thing I couldn't live without; I often go listening to concerts, and I wish I had never had to quit my piano lessons (was so lucky to find a conservatory close to my place, but then I started lacking time). I've always seen faith as an important part of my life; when I was younger I used to go to Lourdes to help the elderly in their pilgrimage - that was a breathtaking experience that turned my world upside down, and I'm so happy to have done it. Now, that said, I would not define myself as a traditional Catholic (not even a traditional person at all, generally). I am much more on the progressive side and believe that some parts of the current doctrine would need to be revised. Therefore, if you're looking for a strictly conservative, "7 out of 7 answers" guy, I'm not the one... but if you feel that you might somewhat share my opinion, I'm more than happy to talk! Other than that, I'm currently still fighting to keep my job, which seems a good challenge during these times. That's another thing - I adore challenges!
31, New York, NYI'm doctoral student and professor by day (and sometimes night). In my spare time, I am an avid fan of cooking, writing, reading, painting, theater, and exploring the city. A Florida transplant, I love being outdoors, swimming, and manatees (they really do indoctrinate you to love manatees). I'm easily impressed by any enthusiastic karaoke performances and well-made coffee. I teach and write about politics. I'm really passionate about empowering students to view their political system as something that they can take ownership of and act upon.

28, New York, NYHey there, so here's the attempt to describe myself ( i am terrible with this lol). People often describe me as funny, intelligent. caring, and outgoing. I love being outdoors, surrounded by the people i love. I am a very spontaneous person and always willing to try new things and visit different places. I am definitely a free-spirited and independent individual, who is searching for her partner in crime =p. I am looking for someone who is open-minded, honest, caring and overall, a true gentleman. My hobbies include: walking around the city on a nice sunny Saturday afternoon, checking out the latest horror movie, ( bonus points if you are a horror/thriller junkie), and stargazing on a nice cool clear night, pondering life's biggest question: "life" haha. I am not the kind of girl who is into first date hook-ups and am looking for a real and genuine relationship. of course, there is much more to learn about me so if you are interested please don't hesitate to message me. Thanks for reading =)
40, Hempstead, NYI love the poor and will love to help people. I love people saying the truth and nothing put the truth... I don't talk much.. I believe in God forever.....
55, New York, NYNew to this site and seeing what it has to offer. Looking for substance in my life and someone who can seek (and hopefully find) that with me. Trying to make sense of it all.
76, New York, NYI am a poet, Ph.D. widely published. Very sensitive. I do contemplative prayer several times a day. Close to Jesus. I love sex. Music, opera, museums, travel, ballet, all the arts.
30, Grand Island, NYAfter graduating with my Bachelor's from a Jesuit institution, I was part of a full-time volunteer program called the Jesuit Volunteer Corps. The four values that provide the structure of JVC are social justice, spirituality, community, and simplicity. These continue to be the foundational values on which I try to live each day. I feel like the best version of myself when I am part of a community and relationships that share these values and challenge me to enter into them even more deeply. In other words, "living out" these values daily is something that I am very passionate about. I like to work out regularly and I completed an intermediate triathlon this past year. I am very slow...but steady!! I enjoy swimming, biking, and running, as it helps me not to get bored with just one! I enjoy reading in my leisure time and some of my favorite authors are Joan Chittister, Robert Fulghum, Henri Nouwen, and James Martin. I am a vegetarian though I eat predominantly vegan. I love to cook and make combo's of beans, veggies, and grains. One of my favorite cookbooks is "Veganomicon."
49, New York, NYI have been told that I am a very down to earth person with a big heart. I am a designer by profession who enjoys trips to museums, galleries and going to concerts of all kind from Andrea Bocelli to Coldplay to Mary J. Blige. Sports, tennis was my first love and played in high school and college team. I enjoy pretty much any outdoor activities as long as I am the participant and not the spectator. As a New Yorker living in the city I take full advantage of having some of the world best restaurants and frequent them after a long day at work with good wine and company but a cozy home cooked meal is always pleasurable with that special someone. I LOVE to travel overseas whenever my schedule allows, to experience different culture and collect art (photography and prints) from all over the world. There are still many countries that I have yet to experience and share with that special someone. I would like to meet someone who is Caucasian in his 40s-50s, genuine, altruistic, affectionate, intelligent, creative and possess a strong sense of personal style (CLEAN-SHAVEN) AND importantly a non couch potato PLUS who is not afraid of commitment and ready to have a healthy relationship. Also, I don't believe in long distance relationship and prefer to meet someone within 5-10 miles from New York City. I will not respond to profiles without photos as this is a place to meet people and not to hide behind one's profile NOR those who are ONLY looking for something casual. Until then let's start the conversation, looking forward to chatting with you.
