59, North Salem, NY
I was born in The Bronx and baptized at Our Lady of Angels. I attended St. Joseph's parish grammar school in Croton Falls, NY, and JFK Catholic high school in Somers, NY..After college at SUNY Albany, I joined a Southern Baptist church in Albany. A couple of years later, attended a Southern Baptist seminary in Ft. Worth, Texas, graduating with an M.Div.
After I moved back to suburban New York, I worked in retail, then in the Audio-Visual field at some corporate training centers. I went to a baptist church in the area, but eventually left it. I never did find another evangelical protestant church after that. Eventually, I came back to the Catholic Church about 25 years after leaving it in college! EWTN's "The Journey Home" and Scott Hahn's books along with the Catechism helped me come back to the Church, but then so did Garry Wills!
I help teach RCIA at the same parish where I grew-up and attended the parish school. I also am a lector and EMHC. I find myself drawn to more traditional Catholic spirituality (e.g. St. Francis de Sales, St. Theresa of Avila) and practices, but not exclusively.
I play guitar and write songs. I have a couple of blogs.
