I am an outgoing, generous and very funny person. I like to be active and my hobbies include--but are not limited to--exercise, travel, cooking, entertaining, fine wine, reading, teaching etc. I've worked in various capacities over the years: construction, grants writing and, most of all, firefighting. I even had the opportunity to transcribe and edit a profound historical work. Retired from FDNY, I'm a historian, writer, teacher, problem-solver etc. I strive to implement my gifts in service to others. Recent endeavors--rebuilding a church and cooking in a soup kitchen--have been very rewarding. The times I was able to attend Latin Mass in N.J. a couple of years ago were a special treat. So greatly impacted by the beauty and solemnity, I found a church that celebrates the TLM (Sunday mornings) on Long Island and have attended ever since. Deo gratias! I enjoy many things in life, especially taking care of those close to me. I come from a large family and look forward to finding that special someone with whom I will share my life. How wonderful it will be to have a partner in serving God and His people!

Hi there. I'm a lifelong New Yorker, from the wonderful borough of Queens. (For you out of towners, that's the place you drive through between Manhattan and the airport) :) I enjoy outdoor activities like hiking and camping, and I love to read. I spend alot of time nosing about in bookstores. I enjoy going out, though I'd much prefer to kick back in a comfortable bar, or have a nice meal then go anywhere flashy, I'm not really into clubs or anything like that. I have one older brother, who has three small children that I absolutely love. Other than that, I work full time, so there's never enough time to do everything I'd like to. On the plus side, I work right around Central Park, so I enjoy slipping out for a walk or checking out the sights. I consider myself a devout, if far from perfect Catholic, and its something I'd want to share with a partner.

I converted to the Catholic Church in my early 20s and that was one of the best decisions I ever made. (Deo Gratias!) I work as a music teacher and church organist. I love to share my musical knowledge with students and parishioners. For me, making music at church (private practice or playing for liturgies) is a form of prayer. (Clarification: Although I love and prefer the Mass in Extraordinary Form, I attend mostly Novus Ordo Masses on Sundays and during the week for work and logistics reasons.) I used to volunteer in the RCIA program in my parish. It always brings me great joy to encounter people who are preparing to enter the Catholic Church. I am definitely a city girl, having lived in major cities my whole life. But for vacation, I enjoy travelling to cities and rural areas all the same. I enjoy the beach in the summer and the mountains in the spring and fall. I am a loyal and honest person. I tend to be shy and reserved, but I can be fun and humorous when I am with a small group of people I know well.

Lord have mercy on a country boy. Grew up in the upstate and love it here, I still think it's one of the most beautiful places in the world. I really enjoy spending as much time as I can outside. The Fall colors were terrific this year! "True love's the gift which God has given To man alone beneath the heaven: It is not fantasy's hot fire, Whose wishes soon as granted fly; It liveth not in fierce desire, With dead desire it doth not die; It is the secret sympathy, The silver link, the silken tie, Which heart to heart and mind to mind In body and in soul can bind." -Sir Walter Scott

The most important description which I can offer here is that I've always had - and to a healthy degree still maintain - a general aversion to anything in the realm of "online dating." I believe firmly that the pursuit of a sincere, Catholic relationship -with the possibility of developing into a Catholic marriage- should be undertaken with the utmost honesty, respect, and chivalry; anything less simply isn't my style. God only knows how much I yearn for an organically wholesome encounter, akin to the way Chesterton or Belloc first came upon their wives. Online dating has never been my idea of an earnest or heroic courtship; but even I've come to understand (or rather concede) that as Catholics, we're living in a time with unique and unprecedented challenges to marriage, which do demand beyond ordinary action. If marriage is the vocation we ultimately are called to, we have an obligation to rightly utilize the resources which God lays before us. I place entirely all my trust and confidence in the Holy Spirit, and my hope in the hands of the Blessed Mother, if indeed, against the wildest odds, that through her Son I might here find the woman I was meant to give my life for. Yours In Christ, DLD

Hi, I'm Justin. I love my Catholic faith and all of its teachings. My faith is important to me, and I try my best to live it out the best I can. Over the past couple of years I've really grown to like the Latin Mass and normally attend that form each week. I love spending time exercising and being outdoors. Most of my free time is spent hiking, running, climbing mountains, rifle/pistol shooting, and being with friends. I also enjoy slower paced things like going to see new movies and eating at different kinds of restaurants. I love going to trivia nights at a local bar/restaurant.

I'm a Traditional Catholic Single who attends St Pius V Chapel in Oyster Bay. I'm 22 years old, and major in social work. I'm in my first year of college. I am beginning work in a nursing home soon, and I cant wait! I spent about five years in a Traditional Catholic convent, but I learned it was not for me. I'm the oldest of five children, and I have lots of cousins. I like hiking, fishing, swimming, basketball, and volleyball. I also enjoy gardening. Learning is a passion of mine, so my favorite books and shows teach me new (and old) things. I love to sing, and dance! I have a strong personality, but I can be a worrier. I have a sense of humor and a love for adventures. But I am not a thrill seeker, unless it's a roller coaster! I love kids very much. I am looking for a man who is kind and gentle, but also has a firm sense of purpose, and a deep love of God and Our Lady. I am not at all adverse to marrying a military man, either.
