32, Geneva, NYHi! Thanks for stopping by. It's nice to "meet" you. Allow me to tell you a little bit about myself. I love to travel, read, listen to music, be outdoors when upstate NY's weather cooperates, going to the Y, and hanging out with my friends. I love to laugh and making others laugh-after all, laughter is the best medicine. :)
35, Brooklyn, NYI am a Michigan girl at heart who has found herself in Brooklyn for a decade now. I am very passionate about my work as an educator providing educational access to all children. I also take my roles as sister, aunt, and daughter very seriously. Growing up my parents required that my brothers and I learn how to do everything--this includes both Saturday chores and recreational activities. My parents instilled in me determination and a strong work either. "I can't" and "I won't" were never part of the vocabulary. Being the only girl in a family with three brothers definitely toughened me up. My experience in the Peace Corps following college has been the most influential experience in my life. It is an understatement to say that living in Malawi deepened my perspective on life, work, myself, and my relationships. In my leisure time I like to combine active outdoor time with the people I love the most. When I am here in Brooklyn I like to go to the gym and go running in Prospect Park. I enjoy cooking and spending time with friends. In the summer I am like a fish to the water. I grew up on freshwater and cannot get enough of the beach. On vacations I usually find myself out of New York. My family is scattered across the U.S. so I am either visiting them or on a travel adventure. I enjoy hiking and skiing (downhill and cross country).
27, Rochester, NYHehroe! I'm Annie. I first want to point out that I am an anarchist and strongly believe in taking (non-violence) action against injustices. I cuss, I occasionally party, I mess up a lot and I love the show The Office. I'm human. BUT, I believe that God is so good and I will do anything to seek and serve. I love dancing, singing (including karaoke), playing sports, writing music, listening to music, being outdoors, praying, drawing, volunteering and spending time with friends and family. I pretty much laugh and smile all the time and really never see a dull moment in life. I have wanted to go on Broadway since I was a little girl and then I realized that I would rather prefer to do something in a helping profession. I'm spontaneous and too ambitious for my own good and consistently try to find ways to serve God and people. I am going to become a Catholic Worker this next year and will find Jesus in the hidden places. I find a special connection with nature and see God constantly in it and often wish I could live outside under the sky as cheesy as it sounds. Music is a significant part of my life and fills me with so much strength and peace in every way possible. I'm sassy but try to be sweet when need be:). I love kids and have spent the last couple of years working with kids from a variety of cultures. They are the best! I look up to my family so much and always keep them close. Jesus is my best friend because it makes me happy each day to think that someone could love me so much. I love having fun and I'm probably what some people call "rough around the edges". I try to be kind and understanding when maybe at the time it's against my own nature. I believe in loving Jesus and His people and try very hard to listen to where He wants me to go. Peace! Wishing you the best!
31, New York, NYSmile, authentic, intuition, charm, sensitivity, positive, motivation, spirituality, openness, responsibility, trust, values, femininity, honesty, artistic talents these are just some words that my friends used to describe me during an exercise recently. Everyone received a blank piece of paper with the name of the person. The paper went from one person to another and at the end of the exercise everyone received a paper filled with beautiful words about themselves! :) I recommend this exercise to everyone!
31, Slingerlands, NYMy name is Kyle and I was just confirmed into the Catholic Church last year. I am learning a great deal about the church and my faith as well and it is a great adventure to be on. I am part of a Catholic group in Albany, NY called Frassattis. I am very much into my faith and always strive to learn more and be the best Christian I can be. When I am not working, I love to run and stay active. I have run a few marathons and am looking to run some more. I really enjoy reading and I love taking walks while I am listening to my music. I have my bachelors degree in English from The College of St Rose and love to write. I am definitely looking forward to meeting you.
26, Lancaster, NYHi everyone, I'm Tony and I'm looking for someone special. A quick cliff note summary about me: I enjoy spending time outdoors, warm tropical weather, traveling to new places, and, of course, the occasional Netflix binge. I also love to run, laugh, and have a good time, and can appreciate country music, hard work, and good science fiction. Family and belief in God in the Catholic tradition are also both important to me, which is why I'm starting my search here.
24, Lake Placid, NYI am an athletic, energetic, and happy 24 year old who loves to spend time with my family, be outside, and be active! My Catholic faith is at the heart of whatever I do and wherever I go and when I go on a trip, the first thing I look up is the local Mass schedule! I am the oldest of four children and we have an energetic puppy named Mia. I am passionate about my faith, my family, living a healthy and active lifestyle, the French language and culture, and my job helping those who need medical care. I love cross country ski racing and skiing in general as well as hiking, biking, triathlons, running, and almost any form of exercise and outdoor fun. In my leisure time, I love to make music by singing or playing the violin.
35, Plainview, NYHey! Thanks for stopping by. It can be quite difficult to describe yourself but here goes.... I currently reside in Long Island, NY and I grew up on Long Island as well. I enjoy living in close proximity to the ocean. I enjoy being outside as much as possible, whether it be relaxing with a book or going for a bike ride/ walk around the neighborhood. I am friendly and like to make friends and chat with people from all walks of life. I believe that you can learn something from everyone you meet. I have a small group of close friends and I am close with my family. I do believe it is not the number that counts but the quality of the people and friendship that is more important. I like to be social and enjoy outings and social events however at the end of the day I like to regroup and have my own alone time to self reflect and recharge. I am more reserved around people I do not know well. I will however speak my mind on issues that are important to me. I believe life teaches you something each day and I hope to grow and learn from every experience. It would be nice to have a partner who I can enjoy the small and big things with. I am seeking a long term relationship with someone who holds similar values as I do. I believe this is extremely important for the foundation of a solid relationship. Attraction and chemistry are important but there has to be something deeper than that to make a relationship sustain. I believe in open, honest communication in any relationship and would like someone who believes that as well. I like to be silly and have fun yet also know when it is time to be serious and would like to find that in someone as well. I am waiting until I can find the one who is also my best friend. I hope we can learn from each other and grow together. I do not mind being single and would rather be single than in an relationship with someone that's not the best fit. I am interested in being friends first and taking things slow to really get to know one another. Thank you for taking the time to read this....wishing you all the best.
24, Franklin Square, NYI am a caring, loving, friendly and hardworking person who loves the Catholic faith. I hope to bring the love of Jesus to all I meet. I enjoy interacting and spending time with others. I would like to meet a nice man that shares these values.
34, Rockville Centre, NYI'm passionate for adventure (Spain, backpacking in Iceland, but NY is now 'home'), punny humor, and military service. In regards to faith, I live it more than squabble about it (unity among Christians!). My appreciation with art surprises people. I did start as an artist. I guess the crazy gym workouts and military bearing gives a certain impression. Work takes me everywhere. Friends praise my reliability & loyalty when they're in a bind. Or maybe I'm surrounded by unreliable people constantly getting into trouble? 0_o
25, Cicero, NYHi, I'm Justin. I love my Catholic faith and all of its teachings. My faith is important to me, and I try my best to live it out the best I can. Over the past couple of years I've really grown to like the Latin Mass and normally attend that form each week. I love spending time exercising and being outdoors. Most of my free time is spent hiking, running, climbing mountains, rifle/pistol shooting, and being with friends. I also enjoy slower paced things like going to see new movies and eating at different kinds of restaurants. I love going to trivia nights at a local bar/restaurant.
25, New York, NYLife's really simple; people make it complicated. To answer the sample questions... I'm passionate about helping others reach their full potential. Meeting and talking to people from many different walks of life has been influential and helped me understand other perspectives. In my free time, I'll try a new activity/restaurant, catch an NBA game at the bar, or study a foreign language.
