I'm a professional artist, and part time daydreamer. Sometimes the daydreams take over and not a lot gets done in the real world. But who needs material ambitions when infinity is there to contemplate? Big questions create many small answers, and I'm trying to fit them all together, but other questions interrupt and.. what was I saying again? oh yes! this is a profile about me. uhemm .. Well I love cheese and am quite good at juggling. I have a small group of very good friends rather than loads of acquaintances, and I prefer it that way. I have two cats which I love very much, even though I didn't show it when I chose embarrassing names for them. The rain is nice, though I'm not such a good swimmer. And I get so bored trying to be serious when filling in profile forms. Most of all... I try to love God with all my heart, mind and strength. I have a very strong set of morals which I'll never break for any reason, which makes it tough to find the right girl when I'm in such an irreligious nation, as like minds around my own age are VERY hard to spot (I think we all need homing beacons). I also have a hard time meeting people due to my introverted personality (good excuse right?) and my solo occupation which doesn't help me get out too much. I'm an artist. Mostly self taught and detail obsessed. Large cityscapes seem to be my calling, and I'm targeting all the big ones to make my name. London, Paris.. blah blah blah, you know what I mean. See my photos for a glimpse of my home town Wellington, oil on canvas, and two years to complete. Shame you can't see all the details, but trust me, they're there! This is the painting which made my career.

I graduated as an engineer, moved into management. I felt I should be making a more positive impact and retrained as a teacher. After five years work in a challenging inner city school trying to make a difference in the lives of disadvantaged children, I decided I needed a break. Currently, I am in New Zealand on a working holiday, trying to teach kiwis to count. Check out my blog, http://britishexpats.com/blogs/countingwithkiwis/ I love to travel and have visited Canada and the USA several times. I spent last summer in the Canadian Rockies, Vancouver and Seattle. Also, I enjoy going on Pilgrimage and have travelled to Lourdes, Wallsingham and Rome. The Holy Land and Compostella are still on my to do list. I enjoy movies and going out with my friends. I am considered reliable and trustworthy, and have been the bestman at two of my friends' weddings.

I'm a maths graduate who by the grace of God ended up working in Liturgical publishing. My work involves typesetting Chant and Polyphonic music for both forms of the Mass (and Breviary). I've done a lot of work as a volunteer in a project to transcribe Gregorian Chant for an online repository. There's a resurgence of interest in Gregorian Chant and Sacred Polyphony, so I'm transcribing as much Chant as I can to help create a repository which Parishes etc. can easily create custom music booklets. I have an interest in digital preservation, hence the reason I've done so much scanning. I'm a mathematician, not a musician, so it's one of life's great ironies that I ended up in Liturgical Publishing (specializing in Sacred Music), and singing in a Parish Choir. I am also fascinated by linguistics, science, astronomy, history and economics. I love books, I don't read as much as I'd like to - I used to spend a lot of time reading blogs, I'm now trying to get into reading books. As much as I love ebooks, there is still no substitute for paper. I should also warn that I care about good writing, not just style - I'm rather overzealous about proper punctuation, capitalization and grammar. I've never been officially outside the Church, though when I was 24 I had my homecoming. I've been in love with Holy Mother Church ever since. I'm as phlegmatic as they come, so don't worry if I appear unexpressive - it's simply that I'm the stereotypical Minnesotan (except that I'm not American.) Regarding Myers-Briggs, I'm an INTP. Incidentally, my favourite muppet is Sam the Eagle.

Hi I'm Jonathan. Everyone just calls me Jono though. I'm a primary school teacher (Year 6-7). Yep I'm a Kiwi. First of all, I wont lie, but the most important thing I find in a girl, is that she has a strong devotion to God! I am the male leader for my parish's youth group, and I love it! I love painting, drawing, sculpture and everything arty! I have a border-collie named Merlot.... (yes, after the wine haha). Aaaaand yeah.... I'm always up for a chat! :D

I am passionate about the state of the world, and the moral decline of our generation and the young. I fear for the world and where we're all headed. But I am an optimist and even if we cant change the outcome, we can change some folks along the way.

Hello :) I am a devoted Catholic woman who loves my family, hand quilting, and art. I've got a degree in fashion design, and am currently studying for and and working as a pre-school teacher. I love reading, writing, high-adrenaline activities, and volunteering as an educator teaching proper Catholic sex-ed in high schools. The personality type indicator used on this site confuses me, so for those who understand the Myers-Briggs system, I'm an INTJ (introvert, intuitive, thinking, judging).

Admiring the beauty of God's awesome, wonderful creation while sitting on the bench at the park, taking photos of lovely couples and innocent kids, playing and running with them at the playground, park, listening to the birds' humming, having a silent moment with God, attending retreats, staying at the monastery are my favourite thing to do.

I'm looking to build a future with the right person. I'm a practicing Catholic and get to Mass most days. I currently work in sales management and I imagine I'll stay in this field for a few years with an eye to having my own business in the future - so that I'm not tied to work when I have a family. I'm not perfect but most friends think I'm a good guy so that's probably a good bellwether. I would like to be with someone who'll help me become a saint, and vice versa. I read and socialise in my spare time. I usually travel overseas when I take a vacation.

I'm a fun yet serious person. I'm slightly introverted but pretty much open up to close friends. I love the Mass, Eucharistic Adoration, Rosary, Mother Mary and the Saints. I like reading The Catechism and knowing what the Church teaches. The catholic faith has been and will continue to be most influential in my life... my rock in the rapids. I'm a mad football fan. I follow Arsenal in BPL (English), Barcelona in La Liga (Spanish), Bayern Munich in Bundesliga (German), Wellington Phoenix FC in A-League, 10th place... yeh... I studied Physics at uni. After uni I went into aircraft maintenance engineering. I'm now with Air New Zealand Engineering Services. Leisure time involves football.

I'm passionate about supply chain management and system thinking things. I love my faith like cRaY. I could always do better at living it authentically. I could spend way too much time online but... that's probably (or shouldn't be a hobby). I love hanging out with friends and making new ones... love books... love movies... love food (but not alway willing to put in the effort to make it!)... love family (they live far away... maybe that's why this is easier?).
