81, Pinehurst, NCRetired Army officer. Active and energetic. Reside in the golf capital of the US. I am physically active play golf almost daily. have three sons all residing in different parts of the country.
36, Raleigh, NCHi, I am Ed. I like to play golf and hockey. I am currently attending Wake Tech to receive a degree in Geomatics. I am originally from upstate NY and happy not to be living there any more. I hate the cold and would much rather be on a beach or a golf course on a sunny warm day. I was a Cavalry Scout in the Army and miss it very much, I sometimes wish I never left. I look forward to finishing my associates in Geomatics and continuing my education. I am here to find friends, socialize and everything else if I am lucky. I follow the rules for Catholics but I have not attend church lately. My faith is not strong, but I believe in morals and love that Catholics have. If you want a guy to be active in the church than keep looking, I'm not him.
44, Holly Springs, NCAn enigma, equally at home with a chainsaw in my hand as glass of wine, or book. I can change a diaper or tire with equal ease... and disdain. I can skin most anything, but also appreciate classical music and movies? "I like what I like". Loyal, faithful, and strong. Not the metro sexual type. More the Mcgyver type. Can fix most things around the house. Hard worker who is doing what I love... Being loved by those around me is what I cherish most. I work hard to help those around me, both big and small. Without a doubt the greatest reward of all is a unexpected hug from an adorable niece or nephew... "makes me take that unexpected breath..." I like growing things on my own land. Sitting on the porch drinking a cup of coffee or wine while watching my Bald Eagles play over the river is my respite. The only thing I imagine would make it better is finding "the one" to share it all with. Catholicism is the bedrock of my being. I admittedly don't know enough and try to better myself. Easy going, eternally young, and fit. Have a sense of humor... (well, I think I'm funny.) I've considered it a privilege to help my siblings raise children . Frequently go to Museums, Aquariums, Zoos, and Parks. I like animals... both foreign and domestic. Like to cook. Enjoy board games/cards. (I love competition.) An avid fisherman who loves being outdoors anywhere from mountains to coast (especially on or near the water.) My business is giving various boat tours on a lake. Between hanging out with married friends and working for myself it's hard finding eligible women and virtually impossible to meet single Catholics. (That's what lead me here.)
25, Durham, NCI am definitely most passionate about music. I graduated with a degree in Music Education from East Carolina University with a concentration in voice. I was very fortunate to be a member of the East Carolina University Chamber Singers for 3 years. I had some of the best times of my life in that group. My favorite things to sing were any kind of Sacred Music piece. Now that I am almost finished with my degree, I plan on returning to my church choir back home in Durham. Currently I just got a new job as a church musician for St. Matthews Catholic Church in Durham! I am excited to start! I would have to say that God has been by far the most influential, supportive, and stabilizing force in my life. I am absolutely nothing without Him. My family has also been especially loving and supportive of me. My Dad and brother are also both professional musicians and both influenced and supported me down my chosen path of being a music teacher. In my spare time, I enjoy watching a lot of crime dramas on television. I am also a sports fan (especially being an avid fan of the Carolina Hurricanes). I also play the piano as my secondary instrument and love to play the music of Frederic Chopin. Also I am indeed looking for a relationship. I am willing to take it as slow as it needs to be but I am looking for a woman that I can spend my time and life with in more than just a friendship. And the baby you see me holding in one of the photos is my nephew!
27, Raleigh, NC-Raleigh native -Registered nurse -Doctoral Nurse Practitioner student at UNC Chapel Hill -Spontaneity seeker -Avid reader -Cowboy boot collector -Music enthusiast -Lover of life :)
33, Greensboro, NCWhen I characterize myself to myself, I often find that I am - or desire to be - equal parts poet, philosopher and saint (Many good things come in threes!). That is, I try to be well rounded, and balance the life of the mind and spirit. I am introverted, but love being around people. Passionate, energetic people pull the most out of me, but I love quiet times of conversation, as well. I love the variety of a diverse community, or of being a part of several different communities. I am currently a (public) school librarian, and love it. I split my time between two schools, one elementary and one middle. I'm still working on my Master's in Library Science. I came to this because I have always loved to read, and reading is still perhaps my most beloved past time. This does mean stories (fantasy is my favorite), but I mostly read non-fiction and love learning about so many aspects of the world. In short, I'm a nerd. However, I am also passionate about diet and exercise. I study kung fu, going on 3 years now. I do write poetry on occasion. Finally, I try to have an active social life.
23, Swansboro, NCI am a America loving Catholic woman. I was a Catholic Nun for 4 years but discerned that I have a vocation to marriage. I grew up in a Catholic and Military household. I am currently a phlebotomist and am always trying to help people through my profession. I like baking and trying new things and living life. I enjoy Patriots and Alabama football. I looking for a man who is a protector and defender of the Catholic faith and family.
54, Wilmington, NCIt's such a grand world and short time we have to explore and enjoy it and I'm trying to do just that! I love living! The ocean, the mountains, the sky, the clouds, trees, birds, flowers, children, elderly, youth, rivers, etc..you name it and its worth loving. My family is very important in my life. My faith is a game changer for me. I enjoy photography, reading, outdoors, travel, farmers markets and such. I've been on my own for a long time and am very comfortable, independent and for the most part happy. It's tough at this age to meet someone. I look around my own parish and it seems full of lovely married couples and families. I feel lonely and want someone who shares and loves the Catholic faith with me, to sit with me, pray, sing, kneel and just be in the body of Christ with me. I'm not clingy or needy by any means. I can come across uninterested even when I'm just the opposite. i am affectionate and joyful. I am praying for an honest man with faith and similar interest. My goal is not dating or accumulating friendships. My goal is a courtship that leads to marriage. I would welcome the chance to adopt children or foster them, even at my age. Children are the jewels of this world and so many are cast aside. I Want to travel more and hope to find someone who shares that dream. I am organized (sometimes too much), a stickler for cleanliness, definitely not a hoarder, and I like to plan things out ahead. I wake up early and go to bed early. I enjoy lively intellectual conversation of politics, theology, apologetics, current events, history and more. I've studied a great deal of theology, church history and apologetics on my own, I'm a convert and that process did not come easily. I was a reformed Presbyterian before God opened my heart and mind. My path to the Church was much like Scott Hahn and his wife's. I am often dismissed by family members for my faith. However my children and grandchildren are devout Catholics, as I am. I am an avid supporter of the Sanctity of Life and try to be as active as I can in those areas. My son is Executive Director of a non profit ministry in the church for young boys to mentor them to chaste, devout, and faithful Catholic men. I know I need to be more active and would love to meet someone who would help me get that motivation. I used to be so much more active and fit (haven't we all been there?) but seriously, I was an avid cyclist, routine kayaker, gym rat and hiker. I know I can get there again.
71, Fayetteville, NCAfter many years away from the Church as a sailor and soldier, w/ the help of a friend and my Guardian Angel, I found my way back. But, I went to any number of "Masses" and they were not as I remembered. Then a friend took me to the latin Mass and I knew that I had found my way back. Was in the navy in Vietnam as an advisor on a Vietnamese patrol boat, also combat engineer and Special Forces in the army. 10 years in Germany and roamed most of western Europe skiing and skydiving and camping. Speak German. love Bavaria, Tirol and southern France. attempting to make up for 30 years of missing Mass and not praying my morning and evening prayers. I had to get a divorce before the diocese of Portland, Maine would accept my petition for annulment. Still in that process. currently house sitting in W.Va. My first wife, German born, died of the after effects of radiation therapy for cancer in '02. I made a mistake and married a novus ordo Catholic years later who wouldn't take my name or go to Mass with me. Of course, she didn't tell me this before we were married.
65, Apex, NCI am very passionate about my family. I am a grandmother of six and I enjoy spending as much time with them as I can. I enjoy running and staying in shape. I still work full time and looking forward to the day I can retire.
25, Cedar Point, NCAs a previous FOCUS Missionary with a deep love for people, I enjoy sharing my faith and life with all those I meet. Right now working with elderly clients, I am constantly entertained by the amusing predicaments and conversations that aspire when one is hard of hearing and set in their ways. If I am not at work, I am somewhere outside soaking up the sun and attempting to play with any number of creatures I meet along the way. St. Francis of Assisi and I are kindred spirits when it comes to our deep love for all those in Kingdom Animalia. Random but fun fact, I love to dance and haven't ceased dancing since my parents taught my four sisters and I how to turn every single house chore into a dance party. Other than all the above, I am currently learning Spanish with two friends of mine and hoping to be bilingual by the end of 2017.
26, Wilmington, NCHi I'm Kalyn! I am from Wilmington NC, and love the area so much I went to school at the University of North Carolina at Wilmington with a degree in Mathematics. I love my family, am passionate about my faith and enjoy training for triathlons in my free time!
