45, Paterson, AUDespite the fact that: a) I haven't "met" someone and am a little disillusioned and b) Whenever I try to give someone my contact details, I get told off, I have decided to give this another try. I mean, seriously, I am a 45 year old christian man who wants to marry and have children as soon as possible (if God brings the right lady and I together). I don't have a lot of time to waste mucking around. I don't want to send messages back and forth for 6 months, only to find out that I am just wasting my time. I played cricket during the summer (until a few years ago.) I watch cricket, AFL, Netball and many other sports. I would like to turn off the television (and the radio) and read more. I'd also like to work on my fitness (drink less, eat better, etc.) Okay, let's get serious. There is so much more to me than that. I would like to think that I am witty, romantic and a dream come true for the right lady. I have been so impressed with many of your profiles and amazed with how you open your beautiful hearts to strangers! There are so many times when I have seen your descriptions of who you are looking for and I am practically yelling: That's me. That's me! I am just waiting for the right lady to listen to the whisper in her ear: "This is the man that I had in mind for you before you were created." I turn up the volume when my favourite songs come on and I make some great cocktails (Fruit Tingle, Blue Lagoon, Punch, etcetera.) I want to meet a lady who loves to entertain and enrich other people's lives. P.S: No shallow ladies. If you are looking for riches or a hunk, I will pray for your conversion.
26, Wolfville, CAI'm looking for something semi-serious, with the potential to develop into something long-term. I'm undoubtedly a romantic, but a realistic one. As for who I am... I'm passionate about a few things, but things I'm not that into, I can shrug off. I definitely like to be the life of the party. I put others' needs before my own, most of the time. I'm loyal to a T, but I'll call you on your bullcrap, and would like the same. Honesty is the best policy. I can be a bit needy in a relationship. Not jealousy, or pushy. But if I'm going to be with someone, I want to spend a fair bit of time WITH them. I'm generally a pretty joyful person, and I like to think I take the right things seriously, and let the frivolous things roll right over me. I rarely stress out, so if you're high-strung, I can maybe help you out. Or you'll hate me. Either or. My general rule of thumb is, "Will I remember or care about this in 5 years?" if I do, I give that thing, whatever it is, all the respect and attention it deserves. If not, forget it. I'm drama-free, but I will stand my ground even if the whole world is against me if it is something or someone I truly believe in. I've got a light, warm, exterior with a serious, steadfast interior. I try to keep my priorities straight, and focus on doing the right thing, and becoming the man I want to be... Partially so I can be worthy of the kind of woman I want to be with. "Don't lose heart. Today's defeat is training for the final victory." - St. Josemara Escriva

34, Sydney, AUI had a wonderful childhood full of love and both my parents were always there for me. I was taught by sisters for primary school and they had a great, but, gentle influence on me. I am kind, thoughtful and perceptive and I love the outdoors and enjoy hiking. I love to travel and have been going on overseas trips quite frequently over the last seven or so years. I've been to Europe twice, a very small amount of the United States (only New York City and a small amount of New England area), and Canada another time. My last trip overseas was two years ago and I visited England.. mainly London, Devon and Cornwall; I absolutely loved the countryside in Devon and Cornwall.
46, Eastern Passage, CAI'm just a happy-go-lucky guy. I always try to view the glass as being "half full" and my philosophy in life is that you only get even with someone when they do something nice for you :-)

I fall on the conservative line on the social issue we face at the moment, I've have very strongg views on morals and politices. I like to think of myself as easy going and enjoy going out, I can make the best of any situation. Movies, dinning out, Musicials and of all things, driving, "just got a new car". To sit here at the computer and describe the person I would like to meet is difficult, it is all about chemistry, I guess we're all contradictions to some degree. Coffee, can be a good ice breaker.
