I love God and I love people. When I awake each day, I ask Him "who can I Bless today?" No hurry here, it took a lot of effort to feel this good about me and life, after a divorce that was not of my choosing. I started a missionary life, 2010 in Belize. In August 2011 I took over seeing after my mothers needs. she passed away with me singing to her in the spring of 2013. My grieving is now complete, so I am missionary with out a mission currently and recently retired.. The grandchildren keep coming with six now. Grey/White hair has taken over and yet I still want to play everyday. I accept growing old, but never wanting to grow up.

I'm a very active Senior citizen and I travel a lot. Favorite place to vacation is Catalina Island or on a cruise of the Mediterranean. Have been a widow for 10 years. I work out 5 days a week. I consider it a privilege to be able to help someone in need. My faith is the most important part of my life.

I am passionate about core values...God, Family, Country. My parents have always been the most influential people in my life. They successfully raised a strong Catholic Family, reminded us always that we need the following: God in our lives, to take responsibility for our actions, to work hard to attain our goals, and we must respect all life. I enjoy spending time w/my son and his family, & my siblings, reading about our country's history and visiting historical sites, trying new recipes, going to movies, staying up with current events, having friendly discussions on politics, and keeping up with info on real estate(I'm a retired Real Estate Agent).

I consulted a few friends and acquaintances to give you an unbiased picture of me. The names have been omitted to protect the guilty. My MD is glad to report that I'm pretty healthy, but he wishes Id see him more often. He has a brand new Corvette and a condo in Vail, and could use a little help with the monthlys. My best friend appreciated me helping him get moved to his new residence recently, but he was kind of upset. He said hed be billing me for his talking/ singing Billie Bass that I accidentally kicked down two flights of stairs. Poor ole Billie couldn't carry a tune after that traumatic experience. He sounded a lot like Flipper the dolphin. Gee, who knew theyd ever be collectible?! My orthopedic surgeon, who's been intimate with my left meniscus said its completely healed now, and to go ahead with skiing and my other normal activities. Although he advised that I might want to think twice about bungee jumping at the New River Gorge, or competing on the Olympic break dancing team. Im really gonna miss the break dancing... The security officer at work said she enjoys the laugh I give her each morning, even though its often politically incorrect. My hair stylist said she likes my hair because theres a little less of it to cut each month. Shes urging me to consider canceling my super-platinum-double-lifetime subscription to "The Hair Club for Men. Im thinking she might have ulterior motives. I tracked down the highway patrolman, errr patrolwoman that stopped me for 81 in a 65 a few years back. She said she was still mad that I called her sir I usually dont have problems with the gender thing, but in my defense, she did have a crew cut and dark sunglasses. And those red & blue flashing lights in the rear view mirror do funny things to a guy. But seriously, Im passionate about living and sharing life to the fullest and serving God and others as best I can. I try to look on the positive side of things. I enjoy working on home improvement projects around the house, landscaping, and the restoration of my old muscle car. I like to hit the bike trails in the area as well as state parks. Im also up for anything that sounds like fun. It could be a walk in the Hocking Hills, an afternoon at Cedar Point, or an evening roasting/ burning marshmallows around a bonfire.

I'm a self-employed writer and voice-over talent. Been divorced (annulled) for six years. Had my kids late in life. Have a son who's 20 and in college and a daughter who's 15 and in high school. I am down-to-earth and lead a relatively simple life. Enjoy coffee (or wine) and conversation. Play guitar. Write songs. Have a few close friends as opposed to a large number of acquaintances. I am generally thoughtful and kind, like kids and animals. Have been around the block a few times and have a couple of ideas of what life is all about. And it's not a lot of what our current pop culture offers. I lie getting to know people if they want to be known, and am very open about my own life experiences and attitudes.

I'm intelligent and educated and enjoy the volunteer work that I do at my parish and with the Dominican Sisters of Peace. I have three grandsons who play hockey so I spend considerable time at the rink. They also love to golf and they're doing a pretty good job of reacquainting me with the game along with my son, the collegiate All-American. I love sports, especially basketball and March Madness is my favorite time of year.

Don't know what to say...except the most influential people in my life have been my parents, who I miss very much. They were all about family... loving, caring, fun and great models for life well lived. They put my sister and me through catholic school and supported us in every way in our lives. I am a lector, a cantor and, a 1 time-per-week adorer (for about the last 4 years). But I do not consider myself overly religious! It's just that I owe a lot because my faith has rescued me. I have a son who lives in Boston, who I love very much and visit from time to time. We are very close. I have been a music teacher 26 years and I'm sure that is a result of our family singing together and lessons on piano, flute and dancing lessons as a child. I also love children and the joy they bring in the classroom and elsewhere. I love their sense of humor and their interesting and creative ways of problem solving. I have 2 sweet dogs: Coco, a choclate lab mix and Abby, a small terrier mix. I also support an organization called Canine Collective through help and donations. In my leisure time I love to walk, ride a bike, swim at the beach or a pool. I am a writer (working on a narrative right now) and a reader (many books going at one time, but mostly I read before bed). I also love to work out. I think it keeps me in great shape.

Family, friends, and my faith are all reflective of who I am. I was an elementary teacher for 35 years and always felt it was a calling not a job. I love being with people, plays, movies , books, community events, sporting events. Traveling and new adventures are now what I am looking forward to in my life. God has seen me through many of life's struggles and many of life's greatest moments.

I am very concerned regarding the outlook for our country; so the upcoming general election is very important to me. That's on the political side of things. As for religion, I am registered at a Church which celebrates Mass in a very traditional manner. Although sometimes, the Gloria, Creed, Sanctus, or Agnus Dei are said in Latin; or sometimes they are said in English.

I am currently a correctional education teacher, although I have been an X-ray tech for most of my life - took my boards when I was 19. So service has always been a big part of my life. For years I have worked both. I have 3 children and I am active in my grand children's lives. Still close to my 7 siblings. I love to dance and I love to go to the movies. On cold rainy days I like a warm blanket, a hot cup of tea, and an old black and white movie. Sure would like someone to watch that movie with me.
