I am an empty nester who is enjoying the freedom this new part of my life brings. I am 61 years old with a lot of energy and a creative spirit. I am partially retired. I taught school for 35 years and for the last three years I have worked parttime supervising student teachers and teaching classes at Ohio Dominican University. I enjoy traveling and in the last four years I have been to Australia, New Zealand, Hawaii, Italy, and Greece. I love meeting new people and experiencing their culture. I enjoy doing yoga, walking and barre class as well as swimming. I have two married children, a boy and a girl. Family is very important to me and I hope to meet someone who feels the same way. My faith is the most important part of my life and I hope to find someone who would want to share their faith together.

I love God and I love people. When I awake each day, I ask Him "who can I Bless today?" No hurry here, it took a lot of effort to feel this good about me and life, after a divorce that was not of my choosing. I started a missionary life, 2010 in Belize. In August 2011 I took over seeing after my mothers needs. she passed away with me singing to her in the spring of 2013. My grieving is now complete, so I am missionary with out a mission currently and recently retired.. The grandchildren keep coming with six now. Grey/White hair has taken over and yet I still want to play everyday. I accept growing old, but never wanting to grow up.

I enjoy being with people. It appears lately I have been occupied with work. I am self-employed in the electronic-chemical industry. I travel outside of the Columbus area quite often and spend half my time in Canada or on the East coast. When I am here, I am very involved in catholic based activities; Knights of Columbus, Ushering, Eucharistic Minister, Volunteering. I keep a file folder which contains places, projects and things I would like to do/see someday. I am open to try new things. I tend to lean towards the arts. I enjoy new restaurants, music, jazz, museums. Once I get going I am a fun guy. I like to laugh!

  • Colette, 60 from Columbus, OH
    60, Columbus, OH
Hello, my name is Colette, (pronounced CuhLETTE). It is a French name and as you can see, it is important that it is pronounced as the French intended. My Catholic faith is my passion, and I look forward to marrying a man who also shares this passion, --a man who is interested in continuing to grow in faith together. Without a doubt, my family has been most influential in my life: Growing up, we ice skated, skied, traveled the US extensively, first by pop-up trailer, then RV. This background proved to be broadening as well as educational; experience for which I am extremely grateful. In my leisure time, I enjoy listening to AM 820 Catholic radio, gardening, hiking and backpacking; am very creative/artistic, creating beauty/order.

Hi! I am a lady who loves her family (especially my 2 daughters), her Faith and people. I love to laugh and I have been told I have a good sense of humor. It makes my day when I can make someone smile and laugh. I feel that to have a good relationship it is important to be honest, sincere and kind....and do "little things" for people, to let them know I am thinking of them. I came from a relatively large family (7). I enjoy family gatherings and am close to my brothers and sisters....our father is 88 years old and still going strong....

  • Judy, 64 from Columbus, OH
    64, Columbus, OH
I am a retired educator who does consulting work and coaching in large urban, failing schools across the country. I was widowed many years ago, have dated men outside of the faith, and have recognized how very important it is to me to find a relationship with someone whose faith is an essential part of their lives, so this is my first venture on to Catholic online dating. I moved back to Columbus from Cincinnati a few years ago to care for my father and play with my grandchildren. That time is just magical, but I also love to volunteer, dance, golf, kayak, bicycle, travel, and get reacquainted with my home town. I would love to find someone with whom I could share mass, a city festival, an Ohio bike trail, a local craft brewery, some volunteer work, a foreign adventure, or some quiet time by any body of water. Laughter is essential, chivalry a bonus, ability to have quality conversations about books, theater etc. is a plus as well.
