I would like to make some new friends and possibly start a relationship. As I grow older, I realize how important my faith is, especially after what I have had to endure over the last 10 years. I'm much wiser now, and I want to live my life with better priorities and be the best father I can be. My kids are mostly grown, and so I am trying to lead by example in terms of how I live my faith.

My faith has made me who I am. I do the best I can to treat others with respect and remove judgement. My family and friends come next and I love spending time and entertaining. I love exploring new adventures and being outdoors. Staying fit is extremely important to me and I workout 6 days a week. In particular, I love to hit the trails for a long bike ride, hiking the Hills, running and more. I love sports, especially Buckeye football and never miss a game. I started golfing a few years ago and enjoy the opportunity to work on my game. I've been single for some time and am ready to settle down with someone special. I'm not a serial dater and not in to playing games, life is too short. I love to laugh, so someone with a sense of humor is a must. I have a very demanding career and travel occasionally. I love to travel and need that special person to join me. Thanks for checking out my profile! Let's meet for a drink, or a bike ride, and see it there's a spark! Best of luck!
  • Jen, 41 from Hilliard, OH

Hi, I am Jen. Being an auditor and an introvert, I find writing about myself to bit a bit of a challenge; however I try not to shy away from challenges so here is my introduction. My friends and family describe me as caring, giving, hardworking and fun loving. While I am an introvert at first, once I am comfortable in a situation I tend to open up. I love to spend time with friends and family. I adore my nieces and nephews and thoroughly enjoy any time I can spend with them. I'm an avid sports fan, and I usually have a game on in the background when I am at home. I have been a Cubs fan since childhood. I am so excited to say that 2016 was finally "the year." When it comes to college football, I root for the Buckeyes without being a fanatical fan. I save my most loyal fan support for the University of Dayton basketball program. I also enjoy hiking at the local metro parks, reading and volunteering. I have worked hard over the years to build a successful career in public accounting.

  • Chelsea, 29 from Hilliard, OH
    29, Hilliard, OH
I am passionate about God and loving people. :) I was raised in a Catholic family and I am the third of four children. Growing up I attended public schools and was very active in sports (cheerleading and track) and leadership activities. My college years were a time of significant personal growth and I became very involved in the church community there as a lector and Eucharistic minister. I also enjoyed taking college students to a local nursing home to play bingo each week, attending and then becoming the leader of the weekly Rosary, and helping coordinate various retreats such as Kairos throughout the school year. My family members and the people I met in college have been very influential in my life. I am a physician assistant (a job similar to that of a physician except one step down), and in my leisure time I enjoy running, dancing, and spending time with my family.

I am a down to earth man who is passionate about Faith and Family. I am the father of an 11 year old girl and 10 year old boy. I enjoy spending time reading, discussing a variety of topics, fellowship, dining out and in, tennis, golf, and other outdoor activities.

Hello - SWM - Never married - not adverse to it, just want to do it once! Looking for my best friend, lover, the "one and only" one for me. I don't want the woman I can live with, rather the one I can't live without! Lets leave something to talk about!

I enjoy reading, movies and meeting people. I have a desire to grow in my faith. My parents and other family members have been influential. I do some blogging about music. I like to listen to music a lot. Classical and swing era jazz have been favorite styles of music for me recently. I've listened to about every thing at one time or another. I like traditional worship, but I usually attend a praise and worship Mass, so I don't get too caught up in what type of liturgy I go to. I generally read non-fiction, but I read novels some times. I pray the rosary, reading the liturgy of the hours and the Bible. I love to read and discuss politics. I am a conservative activist with a preference for traditional values. I like a good laugh. My humor can make people laugh (sometimes:)). I like to keep things clean and organized. Walking is a favorite activity. I like to do some exercises, but nothing too rigorous. I try to watch what I eat, but I wouldn't call myself a health nut. I keep busy working full time in a grocery store and part time at a Chinese restaurant. I'm not afraid to try different things. I don't order the same thing every time I go out to eat or get take out (although I do have a fondness for anchovy pizza, but I'm open to other toppings.). I really like old movies. I can watch some of the newer ones too. I stay away from films with values contrary to Christian teaching. I'm wary of much of what Hollywood puts out nowadays due to their liberal bias. Liberal bias turns me off of certain sports programs. But I like sports. Go Browns, Cavaliers, Indians, Blue Jackets and Buckeyes! I'm willing to talk on the phone for long periods of time or chat in chat rooms, I try to keep up with the various forms of Internet communication, though I don't embrace every new thing down the pike (I haven't tried Snap Chat or Instagram). I like to read about church teaching. I'm a great admirer of Popes Pius V, IX, X, XI and XII.The Dominicans have many good things to teach, also. I like to read about the history of Christianity and politics. I believe society is best with Judeo-Christian values. I was in the newspaper business for a number of years and I've worked a lot with customers. So, I'm used to talking to a variety of people and listening to various view points.
  • Terri, 53 from Hilliard, OH

I am a 53 year old single girl. I work for a pharmaceutical company. My background is in health care as I have worked in hospitals as well as private physician offices. My Grandma's death when I was 14 led to my decision to go into healthcare. I can be described as a workaholic, but I do enjoy my down time. I helped raise my sister's three children, so I am exceptionally close to them. I treat them like they were my own. I like to travel. I recently want to Israel. I would like to travel more. My ultimate vacation spot is the beach. I am more of a beach person than a mountain person. The beach is my recharging place. The warm sun and the sound of the waves are quite calming for me. It helps me clear my mind. I try to work out a few times a week, that helps me stay focused as well. I like to go to the movies, plays and symphony. I also enjoy baseball, football and hockey games. I will try most things at least once. I do have to admit though, I am not a good outdoors type. Camping, though I did it when I was younger,is not my thing.

I find myself appreciative of all I've experienced in life, the sum total of many moments that have led me right here, right now. Through it all, people have been the most important...friends, family, those I work with and serve. So, perhaps, it's no surprise that with free time I enjoy spending time with those I'm close to in a variety of settings: restaurants, at the movies, book club meet-ups, concerts, festivals, sporting events, at a friends place for an evening of board game fun. I love stories, whether I get them from movies, TV, novels, poems, songs, comics, games. I'll always be up for a movie; and most genres, whatever the quality of the work, I'm usually able to find something to discuss, whether its performance, the writing, symbolism, music, structure. I love writing as well, which I'd call a connected interest. And one can't be a writer without also doing a lot of reading, which I also love. I enjoy music, too...festivals with food, drink, and live music; or popular concerts in a stadium setting; or a local act in a more intimate club/bar setting. I'm a huge Beatles fan, so concert highlights include seeing Paul twice (Quicken Loans, Ohio Stadium), but also seeing our local Lennon Orchestra's "Full Night O' The Beatles" with 4+ hours of Beatles music. People who know me have commented that I'm quick to smile, or smile a lot. I wasn't always conscious of it in the past. I am more so now, and try to be conscious about bringing forth positivity...feeling that emotion in myself and bringing it out in others. I recently discovered a book called "Into the Magic Shop" by neurosurgeon James Doty, MD. There are a lot of beautiful things in the book, but the chapter that stood out to me the most was "The Alphabet of the Heart." He wrote about a segment of the alphabet, CDEFGHIJKL, that he uses as a mnemonic to remind himself of the qualities he feels we should all embody as human beings. Every morning, he runs through those letters, which stand for Compassion, Dignity, Equinaminity, Forgiveness, Gratitude, Humility, Integrity, Justice, Kindness, and Love. He choose one as his intention for the day, and looks for opportunities to express it. I thought that was incredible, and a great way to stay grounded and to live in a positive way that can impact others and the world. It's something I've added to my routine.
