I am a family oriented person. I love to travel and be spontaneous. I am honest, and I try to practice my faith in my daily life. I am hoping to find someone who is serious about their faith as well.

My faith is important to me, it has gotten me through a lot. I am happy and energetic, and I have a great sense of humor. I love to laugh, especially at myself. I am a mom first I do everything for my children but I know I need a balance. I have met some really wonderful guys online and I know that the right one may or may not be online. I am not bitter or angry, especially at my ex-husband. He and I have a great relationship for our children sake and we always will. I don't have a plan as to how things will work, but I look at it this way if I find someone that intrigues me and we decide we want to spend more time together well....I guess we will cross that bridge when we come to it. I have a rewarding and challenging career, I have 3 kids that are still school age, so you need to be okay with children and I would welcome yours. I am searching for a simple man that has strong values and wants to be happy for the rest of his life. I don't like drama as life has enough of it's own. I am a positive person I never give up on anything I want. As you can see I am a busy woman but looking to share some time with someone who would enjoy my company and enjoys to see me smile. I love all kinds of music, country, classic rock, oldies, soft rock, I like the movie Tombstone and Shawshank Redemption. I love to read anything I can get my hands on but it has to keep my attention. I love the Arts and theatre, horseback riding, walks, and one tank trips. I like to work out, and I do play golf where I usually end up laughing at myself, I have a great long game but need a calm person to coach my short game. I don't get to play as much as I would like. I do like sports, I love watching football. I enjoy a nice glass of wine from time to time, and a fire in the fireplace. When it comes to drinking I can take it or leave it. I am a very honest person and you can always tell what I am thinking. If I don't respond to your chat request or emails please understand I saw something in the profile that was not a fit for me. I used to respond to every person that messaged me, but being nice to everyone ended up being mis-understood. So please understand and good luck in your journey.

I am an easy going person with a positive attitude and outlook on life. My interests vary and prefer to stay active, adventurous, and add a touch of spontaneity from time to time. Family and friends are an integral part of my life. I pursue fun things in life however I also cherish the little things that make the difference in a day. It is not about the environment that I am in, but the company that I am with and how we seize the day together. I have a huge heart and enjoy meeting and helping people. I am a good all around person that loves life and fun to be with ... and looking for the same

How to describe myself...I'm a walking contradiction? I'm an engineer who loves writing. I'm a sports fan and a huge nerd. I love the outdoors as much as I love chilling at home. Worried about this sounding like a grocery list while I'm writing this up. I consider myself fairly serious and pragmatic, but I always have something lighthearted to say. I love finding humor in everyday life. I don't know how exactly to describe myself - I consider myself very down-to-earth, but also a dreamer. Eternal optimist, always trying to make people smile. I'm probably more often serious than not, but I'll be the first to crack a joke; there are times to be serious, but life should be exciting! I love to make jokes and always have a witty something to say, but a bit of shyness keeps me out of getting into too much trouble. Seriously speaking, I guess I could say I'm fairly shy until I get to know someone; then you'll have trouble shutting me up. I'm the oldest of three boys, and family means a lot to me. I'm one of those weird people that grew up liking his siblings; we never fought like stereotypical ones. I love helping people; it's almost a therapeutic kind of thing. If I didn't become an engineer, I would have liked to have been a teacher. Maybe some day I could teach? I love kids! Although I'm not super at it, I also like to think I can cook. I love reading and learning new things. Generic guy stuff. I'm a huge hockey fan, almost a hockey nerd. I like video games and computers. Playing some games online with friends who don't live close is a nice way to keep in touch over Skype and whatnot. I also love the outdoors - rollerblading and hiking/camping. I was in the Boy Scouts (Eagle Scout) and loved camping. Now that I'm in "the real world," I haven't done much of it, but would love to get back to it. I graduated from school a year and a half ago, and I'm currently working as a hardware engineer. New to northeast Ohio, finally getting my feet under me. I've always been pretty technical-minded, and it's a job that I can be both sciency and creative at the same time. I'm not into the whole bar/clubbing thing, and being a somewhat busy young professional leaves me with quite a bit less free time than when I was in school, so here's to online dating!

My Catholic faith is the most important thing in my life, but it is a struggle to keep life/faith balance in this secular world. I was blessed to have parents who loved me. They were my real heroes- both were WWII veterans ( recently passed) who had good values and tried to pass them on. I enjoy running in the park and have to get out there and experience the quiet and beauty of nature.

Thanks for reading my profile. I am a fan of drama free relationships be it at home, work or any other setting you can imagine. My life is good, financially stable, independent, hard working, Catholic looking for the same to have some fun and lots of laughs. About me.... I am easy going, self sufficient and uncomplicated. I enjoy coffee and conversation, dinner and a movie, pizza and a game on TV, a walk in the park, a long drive... not about the what but the who and enjoying each others company. A sense of humor is a must! A few things to note: I am told I do not look or act my age (in a good way) so do not be afraid of the 50, I can dress up but prefer casual, I am working on losing weight but not obsessed - more important for me to feel good then be a certain size, my Catholic faith is very important to me and I would like to share that with someone. If you read all this, thank you. If you are interested in talking drop me a note, if not I sincerely hope you find what you are looking for.

Right now, my life is, to me, rather a mess. My wife died last July (2014) and, although we were empty-nesters (four children), I find I dont do alone well. I am living in a 4-bedroom house with 42 years of married accumulation to clear out and the thought is overwhelming. For at least the last twenty years, Ive done almost all the cooking in the house; its a hobby of mine and I really love it. However, since Im alone, I seldom cook for myself unless I can entice someone over and cook for them. I live on sandwiches and pasta and an occasional hamburger. I really like grilling out but havent done it but once this year. I am an avid reader (mysteries and whodunits, mostly, especially humorous ones), and am generally reading three books at a time. I recently turned the TV back on via Amazon Fire TV (streaming) and Netflix (DVD). Amazon Fire TV lets me watch episodes of my wifes favorite series from Season 1, Episode 1 to current. Netflix lets me watch theatrical releases at a cost of about $1.65/rental. I select a serious movie, a stupid movie, a serious movie etc. I have 3 girls, 2 in Houston, 1 in Aurora and an ex-Air Force son in Brunswick; all are married to Catholic spouses. One of the girls in Houston desperately wants children and, although nothing could be found wrong, she is still childless after several expensive procedures. The other girl in Houston has a girl and a boy. My daughter in Aurora has a six-year old girl and a six-month old boy after four miscarriages. She considers Danny a result of her appeal to the Virgin of Guadalupe (they visit the shrine in Windsor, OH for mass once monthly.) The son in Brunswick also has a boy and a girl. Although I dearly love my children, I think it is the grandchildren that keep me here; they so enjoy their grandfather. Summing up, I have a lot of ennui to overcome to get done the things I should. I feel connecting with someone to have an occasional dinner or some time out might get me to become more active.

HI. I am a kindergarten teacher who is currently enrolled in a master's program. I am shy at first but once you get to know me I open up. I am very close with my family and a few good friends. I enjoy spending time with the people I am closest with, I like to cook/bake, and am crafty.

Hello! I am a mother of 3 grown children and grandmother to five beautiful little girls. My family is very important to me, but not exclusively. I enjoy being outdoors, a good book, movies, just hanging out. I am looking for a friend to start and see if/when it goes from there.

Okay, I know people are not always honest about themselves on these date sites, but I'll be original and honest but not lengthy. I moved to KY to teach after college and moved back home to NE Ohio after 6 years. After teaching for a total of 7 years I decided I wanted to do something else with my life and now I'm a personal banker for a major bank. I've been in plenty of relationships, some lasting longer than others. I'm not going to waste my time or yours if things don't feel right; when you meet the right person you just know it. I enjoy going to movies, sporting events (GO CLE!), concerts and dinners but also enjoy the casual date-night in. I'm looking for a woman that knows what she wants and won't play games. Message me if you'd like to try talking first and we'll go from there. P.S. That's my nephew in the picture.
