43, Gloucester, CAI'm a French Canadian, and the youngest of 3 girls. I just moved to the Ottawa area in March of 2007. God has the 1st place in my life which is important. I participate and am also the co-ordinator for the French churches for the 40 days for Life. I spend time every evening with God reading my Bible and praying. I recently joined the choir at church. It is a special blessing to be able to attend mass in the choir loft up above and to sing for God. I enjoy spending time with friends and family. I find it hard to complete this section because it's impossible to say exactly who you are. I believe that the best way to get to know someone is to talk to them. If you would like to get to know me then send me a message
58, Ottawa, CAConnecting with people on this sight means that I'll be with someone that was brought up the same way I was and therefore understands me. My Spanish and Russian that I 've listed are at the intermediate level, but languages are a hobby of mine as I am trying to get into the translation field. I really love glasses on a woman.
55, Ottawa, CAI look forward to each day because it is a new day to start fresh and look forward to the challenges that await me. The people that have had the most influence in my life was my father and now the community of friends I have in my parish community. I enjoy being with my family when I travel to see them and also being social with my friends and getting together and sharing good times. I enjoy walking with my dogs in the near by woods by my self or others. I also do yoga and spinning classes. I like to read different articles about people and what is going on in the world and also scripture readings. I have been blessed in my life and like to give back to the community I have had the opportunity to volunteer in the community and hope to do more of that in the future. In the winter I also like snow shoeing and cross country skiing when the weather allows. I also enjoy travel and would like to do more in the future. I enjoy times of solitude to pray and to put my thoughts together and be peaceful also. My Catholic faith is important so I do enjoy going on lectures offered by the my parish or other parishes to learn and hopefully to be a better Christian.
69, Ottawa, CAI am passionate about life itself. Exercises. sports, arts, movies, dinner out with someone special and a glass of wine its good. I was married for 36 years and since 2011 I am in my own path and I love it. I am looking for a partner who love the outdoors and live in the present moment. I do not have any children.
43, Ottawa, CAUpdate: I visited the sinkhole in Ottawa and sent a picture :) How to describe myself... hmm it's harder than I thought! A quick answer would be that I think of myself as an open person, who loves to explore and learn new things in this interesting world of ours. My faith is dear to me - it gives me peace as well as confidence to follow the example of Jesus in my life as best I can. I love the outdoors in this beautiful Ottawa, especially the summer months when it is possible to run, explore the parks and bike the huge path system throughout Ottawa/Gatineau. I don't have a lot of family in Canada, but I love what I have and try to keep in contact with the rest of it overseas because family is everything. I'll be visiting them shortly too. Like everyone I wish for my own family too, I hope this will happen! I actually never knew of this Catholicmatch; my friend who cares about me signed me up himself, for which I thank him very much! I'm just filling in the details (there was a small mistake, I'm not 40 just yet still 39 but it's close enough! EDIT:Now I really am 40 I will have to update my profile...and also add some new photos for this year). I will try to find some pictures to add as well and add more answers. Thank you for reading, I wish you all the best. EDIT, I'm 41 now sorry I haven't logged in in a very long time, must add some more recent info soon. Update: I haven't used Catholicmatch, or even logged on in a long time. Also to update I'm 42. Unreliable health has been a problem that has prevented me from participating, but things are improving and I hope to be back soon. Thank you.
34, ORLÉANS, CAHi. I love to read, spend time with family and friends, and kickboxing. I enjoy my life and look forward to meeting someone with whom to share it, hopefully someone who appreciates the Oxford comma.
35, Ottawa, CAI am kind, caring, a good listener, and enjoy spending time with friends and family. I have a great profession which allows me to witness big changes in people's health, but it does come with its challenges, which have helped me grow as a person and in my faith. I enjoy spending time outdoors, long walks, and hiking.
28, Toronto, CAHi there! My name is Tonatiuh but my family calls me Joshua (it's my second name and it helped distinguish between my father and me; we both have the same first name). I'm passionate about many things. My faith is a central part of my life and I can't imagine my life without it. I also care very much about music, performing, fitness, family and nutrition. My family has been the biggest influence in molding who I am; second to them are my friends from Montreal who form a community of young Catholic University Students. In my leisure time, I go to the gym, watch anime, play video games, (I do indeed consider myself a nerd) learn music, read (non-fiction and fantasy mostly) and talk/skype with my family. I have many other interests that I'd be happy to talk about!
33, Ottawa, CARight off the bat, I should warn anyone reading this that I'm not very good at writing riveting descriptions of myself. The times I've tried this I'd always feel a bit awkward and overly self conscious about avoiding writing myself up as who/what i'd like to be ideally, rather than whom/what I really am. Readers be warned. :) I'm creating this profile due to curiosity, I'll potentially re-write this introduction when I have the spare time. I am a 32 year old man with a strong interest in philosophy, theology, history, literature and the sciences. I spend most of my spare time reading, but I also love nature and the sight of a beautiful landscape. I also enjoy listening to and playing some kinds of music (classical, flamenco, rumba, and miscellaneous). I'm somewhat introverted but do open up quite liberally with those who get to know me. I am curious about the people who might create a profile in this type of site. I, myself, have come to accept a strong likelihood of lifelong celibacy for lack of real Christian women. It may also be God's design for me and I have no intention of fighting it if it is. I'm somewhat of a nerd...a bookworm...ok I admit it, a straight up bibliophile with a penchant towards book hoarding (although, no worries, i'm working on that). And aside from the categories named above (philo, theo, histo, science, classics) I also had/have an appreciation of science fiction and fantasy but have become much more discerning in regards to both since I've observed much themes and philosophies inimical to Christianity in many such works. The interest is still there but had to be subdued....I can't stand blasphemy and mockery of God whether it be in movies, books, art, or whatever. I do like traveling although I haven't done much in the last years. I love a nice sunny day, I appreciate beautiful architecture, a good read and good company. I'm sure I could add but I think this is getting a bit long. I am French Canadian but perfectly bilingual. ........And yes, I do realize I have a bed sheet hanging in front of the window instead of window blinds in some of my photos. And no, I don't care what you think. And yes, the day I move into a dwelling with the fine woman blessed to have me as a husband, then I will have something proper in the windows, haha. I'm a fiscally prudent person and I won't waste money on such a thing when I don't need to, I save my money for the day I have a family. :)
37, Ottawa, CAMy family has always been very important to me. We celebrate Christmas together in a big way; family travels in to make this happen. We are shrinking in numbers and are very happy that one of my brother's is getting married in September and will hopefully start growing our family again by having children. I have found much joy in being a mother as well as sanctity. I have become more patient, empathetic, compassionate and responsible. My daughter watches my every move which has made me more conscious of my behaviours. I spend time in prayer every day as well as attending mass at least once a week. I love Jesus and take all my concerns and joys to Him. I am very social and enjoy spending time with my friends. I like wine and Guiness over a passionate conversation about pretty much anything. Ballroom dancing is something I love more than anything else. I don't have a green thumb nor do I possess much culinary talent. People describe me as friendly, highly enthusiastic, fun, full of energy with joie de vie.
30, Ottawa, CAHi, I enjoy the simple and sweet experiences that life has to offer. I prefer keeping things simple in life and look forward to finding some one who cherishes the same. Growing up, I was very active in the church and was a part of the choir and altar servers. The most influential people in my life has been my family whom I consider to be my real treasure. I enjoy watching TV, dancing, trekking, catching up with my friends and family on a regular basis.
35, Ottawa, CAI am an avid reader who enjoys going to museums, art galleries, and other cultural events and activities. I also enjoy scrap booking, the theater and other such events and locations
